Dollarama

I wish I could give zero rating. The Indian Security guy needs to be changed or else this place is losing it’s customers. People come here to have fun buying things at good prices but this security guard makes sure that the customers leave with a bad experience and never come back.

This place was my favourite place until today. I often visit this dollarama as it’s near my house and I loved going there. But today the Indian Security Guard was Following me literally like in every aisle thinking i was the thief. I felt so unsafe in that building and it was not enough for a monent he was standing in front of me and literally staring at me. I was waiting for my bf to pick me up as I could not carry the stuff on my own. Paid for my things and Had to leave the stuff there and told the cashiers that he will pick it up. I have never felt so bad in my life. I understand that it’s his job but he should be there to make people safe not to make them feel disgusted and unsafe! I am never going to the dollarama again not at this store, not at any other store.

It started off a good shopping trip till the security guard wouldn't stop following me thinking I'm going to take something. If he was doing his job right an other lady and myself watched on of there own nationality filling her bag. Like what's up with that I spend easily over a $100 every time I go into that store. Then when I leave I sat in my car and he not once leave the front of the store.

Yes the Hindi Guy works doesn't want to help and the cashier ask me to put their basket for them twice they don't know how to treat customers well The security just cross their hands

This store does not even deserve a single star for poor customer service.

I went around 10: 30am today to buy some stuff and there is one old man looking for iphone charger.he asked a middle age Indian guy who was working over there and he said i don't know anything about iphone charger. Then that old man asked me and I told him not to buy because its android phone's charger and if does not work he can't even return it.

I don't know what came into that cashier's mind.he just start arguing with me that have you used.our electronic products and so much more.like he owns that whole plaza.

First of all he doesn't want to help that old man.and if I suggested that old man something he has nothing to do with it.he is behaving like an uneducated and over confident person.

I went to this store so many times before and this never happened.
That guy ruined my day and I am never shopping at this store again.

I also worked at retail store for 3 years and also went to so many stores but this was worst experience.
Management needs to get rid of him.

I really like to buy items there very close to where I live and the people who works there are very polite. Very well organized and neat easy to find the items you need/want. Good reasonable prices too.

Well stocked but huge lines and only one person at cash out. Dollar stores need to be a "quick" experience.

Typical dollarama in the fleetwood area.a bit more stock of products than surrounding areas.

Store doesnt have a lot of what the other stores do its tight and crampted inside the staff is rude and follow you all over the place

Purchased this box of clay which already went hard and useless. Call in said no refund no exchange. He said I can report to whoever I want.

It's an ok store. Prices are sometimes a little high for dollar store stuff, and items stocked don't always make sense (ex. Only 8mm glue gun, but only 11mm sticks for glue gun). If your willing to drive further, dollar tree has many of the same items for much less.

My father bought a pair of plastic sandle here and we found one is visibly larger than the other one, even though they are printed as the same size number. We went to seek a return in just a hour. However, the manager there, after quickly looked the shoe and receipt, told us that they do not accept return and change, and the rule is printed in the receipt and a post on the door. Both me and my father were stunned, and the big tall manager turnned its back to us rudely. At that moment I did not know that in Canada, mechants are not obligated to accept return except it is defect. The manager obviously know this and he decided to take advantage from our blind spot of knowledge. Me and my father were keeping calm all time and he found us were "easy" to deal. Yes, we were and we left without further talking with him. It is just $5 and it does not worth the time. I did some search online about the return policy in Canada and leaned some lessons: 1. Becareful when buying in Dollarama, quality control is poor, shoe can have significant difference even they are a pair; 2. When going to return, remember they have to as long as you are assertive on the defectiveness of the merchandise.

Under staffed and the 5.5 $ price point means that a lot of their products no longer compete with general stores
