Hot plate pork was delicious, had the right amount of spice! Tofu soup was alright, the tofu melts in your mouth but the soup is abit bland (still ok!)

I’ve been here a few times and I really like the relaxed environment here! Highly recommend!

Dolpan Seoul BBQ is a true gem! The dining experience here is exceptional, with delicious Kimchi Fried Rice that’s cooked to perfection right at your table. The staff is friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. Food was hot and the service was immaculate.

Never really write reviews but this place is genuinely so good! Service was awesome, our waitress was so patient and nice! Food was amazing - got the army stew and it was 30$ and it was so filling (shared between me and friend) definetly coming back!

Very delicious food for a very reasonable price. For two hungry people, I strongly recommend the Army stew pot.

Got a good vibe in the restaurant, the waitress is polite. Eating korean food while listening to kpop is super chill!

The overall atmosphere in this restaurant is nice. The restaurant has very friendly waiter who helped us to our table. The restaurant wasn't very busy when we came on Tuesday around 6: 20 which was nice. Our wait on the food wasn't very long either we thought it would take much longer. The food was pretty good too. You guys should check this place out.

Service was really good the girl was so nice! The food is also really good I got the teokkboki to share with a friend and although it says it’s a serving for two we had a lot of left overs so the portion size is pretty good

The spicy marinated pork was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of heat and flavor. The tender meat was juicy and infused with a mouth-watering combination of spices that left my taste buds tingling with delight. It was definitely one of the best Korean pork dishes I've ever had!
The samgeupsal was another standout dish. The thick, juicy slices of pork belly were grilled to perfection and served with a dipping sauces that added even more depth and flavor to the dish. It was an incredibly satisfying and flavorful meal that left me feeling full and happy

One of the best Korean food places! Great portion for the price and has cute and aesthetic atmosphere. Definitely go-to restaurant!

The BBQ is chewy and you don’t have to grill it yourself, one family meal is enough to feed 3-4 people with a reasonable price.

The bulgogi beef rice bowl was amazing. The beef to rice ratio was enough to fill my stomach, along with the sauce. Would recommend it to beef lovers out there!

Literally go ANYWHERE ELSE for korean bbq. This is the most pathetic kbbq restaurant I've been to. We walked in thinking it was like any other kbbq place but soon realised that we don't do the bbq part ourselves? They cook it in the back for you. Like what's the point? We ordered the pork belly and brisket and it took so long to come even though grilling these thinly sliced meat takes like 6 mins tops. They also cut up all the pork belly before cooking it and it was just so tough and hard to eat. It almost feels like they stir fried it? It was not good. I'm shocked that the restaurant was basically full when we walked in - that was what got us to try it in the first place.

The combos were honestly not that good, considering that they all only come with 1 meat and the rest were banchan. There wasn't soup or pancake included in the combos I saw.

Also, I've never before been to a kbbq restaurant where they make you pay for the banchan. That's so dumb - like when you go into a kbbq restaurant, you're expecting the basics - kimchi/ radish/ some sort of marinated potatoes/ salad etc. They even charge you for rice and lettuce. Not sure if the owners have been to an actual kbq restaurant but I was just shocked I had to pay for all the sides.

It's too bad the servers were really nice and honestly that was probably good part of the meal. We went last night and I'm still annoyed that I had to pay for the banchan lol.

Went here for lunch on a Monday and it was completely empty. The food is just as good as it was before, not sure why people are complaining. In the past they did have a grill on the table but they always had their waiters cook it at the table for us. How is this different to the kitchen cooking the meat perfectly? When you self cook, you can burn the meat if you wait just a bit too long.

The pink radishes were sooo good. Completely worth it to get the combo!

Unfortunately I had to change the rating to 2 stars. It does not simply qualify as a proper Korean bbq restaurant. It loses all the essential features of what a Korean bbq resto should be.

Stopped by this plaza for dinner and ended up at Dolpan - it was empty when we got there at 7: 30PM but every table was full when we left!

We got the corn cheese ($4) to start. It was really tasty but the cheese didn’t stay melted for long.

Next was the kalbi beef rice bowl ($15.50). It came with some well seasoned beef ribs and an egg, but it didn’t have any veggies.

The best dish was the army hot pot. Good amount of ramen, bean sprouts, rice cakes, sausage, spam, tofu, pork belly, kimchi and topped with cheese! Also the perfect amount of spice.

Banchan has to be ordered separately at extra charge.

Service was great though!

Came here with friend recently. The restaurant is on the small side, so we had to wait a bit for a table, but they added us to the waitlist and gave us a call when the table was ready. The waitress was very friendly and polite, and I enjoyed the smaller atmosphere.

The food was pretty good, albeit on the pricey side-I ordered the LA galbi combo which came with the galbi, kimchi, and kimchi fried rice with a small fried egg on top. The galbi was nicely cooked, although didn't have too much of a grilled flavour or char to it-but the flavour was good (the marinade seemed to give it a slight gingery taste). The kimchi fried rice was actually very nice-the flavour was not too spicy or overpowering. The portion sizes looked a bit small at first, but were actually quite filling.

The one thing that surprised me on the menu was the charge to refill or order sidedishes that typically come for free at a lot of other Korean restaurants (if not included in your combo meal).

But overall, a good experience.

I had the Combo C which was very delicious although you might need some To-Go if you're eating it yourself, and I normally eat a lot of food too. The garlic and soy bean sauce used to dip the meat in was amazing.

My daughter and I have been to this place for a pretty nice dinner before. After COVID restriction is lifted, thought we would come back for a celebration of freedom! We can’t believe that the quality of dishes are way worse than what we could have imagined! It’s not the same dish at all and exchange of quality of meat, weird presentation, extremely expensive price, to an extent that we feel scammed! It feels like there is no care or effort anymore in the food. What a shockingly disappointing experience. We will never go back again! We are still traumatized by what happened!

The portion is very small, and their pancake is too thick as a Korean pancake and taste just like flour…

What the heck is this soup.and the weird powder all over it.it tasted like leftover. And Waited for this soup for so long. Worst Korean food i ever had in Vancouver.

Disappointing dine-in experience.

Got served a take out box at the table. The rice was hard and stale, not all the elements in the box was heated evenly (suspecting that they’re microwaved). Understaffed and slow service on Canada Day.

Will not return.

First time coming here and honestly not impressed! The portions were super small and all the meats tasted over cooked. They didn’t let us cook the meat at the table and just brings it cooked from the back (which defeats the purpose of kbbq). The seafood pancake was one of the worst I’ve ever had. It was so dense and doughy with not much filling. I was so dissatisfied and disappointed. The restaurant has totally changed so don’t let the pictures you see online deceive you. I would not recommend.

Went 3 times says it closes at 10 went at 9 for take out and they said it was closed second time i went they had bad attitude i and the third time i went i finally got what i wanted but it took 30 minutes to just get my food i ordered two cold dishes not recommended

I used to love coming here, back when side dishes were plentiful and had free refills, and when they cooked the meat tableside.

Coming back here and seeing the changed menu has really left a not-so great taste in my mouth.

I can still say the honeycomb pork belly still tastes the same, so that’s good. But the seafood pancake wasn’t cooked enough. You could taste the sticky flour.

Got their pork collar kBBQ to go and it was packed awesome. It's literally like the closest thing to a kBBQ dinner experience a take out version can provide.

Radish and lettuce wraps with side dishes and sauces too were all fresh and delicious tasting. Only wish it came with rice. Other than that this is seriously good take out restaurant food. Check out my pics to see what I mean.
