Within a min, I had new brows. You pay for their experience, not their time. I rmbr before the inflation, getting my brows threaded was around $10. Now it's $23 before tips. But it's still worth the price:)

Poonam is amazing! Not only is she wonderful at what she does - made my few scraggly hairs look like actual eyebrows - she is unbelievably sweet and caring. I adore this woman and will follow her wherever she goes next

Poonam fixed my dry spell of eyebrow issues. I went to her with a really specific picture of how I liked my brows done. She takes her time and doesn’t overthread your brows. She explains the importance of root growth and eyebrow hair growth cycles. If I want changes made after she’s done, she talks me through her decision and we find a shared solution. Her customer service is great.

Poonam is the best! She is so nice and treats all of her clients like family. Every time I am amazed at what she does to my eyebrows. Now, after 5 years of acquaintance, when I come to her, I tell her: ``Make me beautiful again'')

Wonderful experience! I have been getting my eyebrows (threading) done from Poonam past 10 months. She does an amazing job and I would highly recommend her. She also advises you how to take care of your eyebrows depending upon your shape and thickness.

Place is great otherwise and staff is professional, but I am giving two stars because I have been going there for over four years and referred bunch of my friends but they never ACCOMMODATE your needs. Front desk is not helpful at all. Not at-all happy.

I have had issues with my eyebrows after few terrible experiences with waxing at other places. I have since been having my eyebrows threaded here. Poonam has helped me SO much in growing them! She has an amazing eye for detail and her kind and caring energy is so beautiful.

I've been going to them for the past almost 7 years and generally I've had good experiences but recently I've noticed some inconsistencies when it comes to eyebrow threading and the prices have hiked up really fast compared to other places (e.g. BB).

Aestheticians need to listen to the customer and not do what they think is best for that customer. I specified that I just want a clean up and my eyebrows to be as thick as possible but I left with very thin eyebrows. This is not a situation that can be rectified right away so they need to follow the customers' requests. It would help certain aestheticians to use makeup pencils to draw and be sure of what the client is asking for and only make eyebrows thinner or change the shape if the client asks for more. I'm upset and don't feel like going out like this.

After a lot of searching and trying many places, I’m so happy that I found Arezzo (Azzy). She left my eyebrows perfectly as I wanted. She is clearly a threading expert. Highly recommend her if you want natural look!

I had my eyebrow wax/threaded by Arezoo. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone. She has flawless skill and you hardly notice that she's touching you. I have a lot of thick and ingrown hairs. Arezoo took the time to make sure all those pesky hairs vanish!

I have been here for the past ten years for eyebrow threading, mostly for convenience. This place lacks consistency, sometimes I leave happy, and some other times its very disappointing. My recent visit I left with terrible eyebrows, which have scared me off and probably won't go back for a while. The prices have also increased significantly to keep up with rising costs.

Terrible eyebrow threading. I gave this salon a second chance but this time my eyebrows are even worse! Eyebrows are absolutely not symmetrical and not a clean work at all! I will not come there again.

I am SO glad that I finally went here based on my cousins recommendation. I absolutely loved my eyebrow threading service provided by Poonam. She just understands the eyebrow game, doesn’t try to change you and gives you great brows! She’s very timely, professional and made me feel so comfortable.

I have used Arezoo twice now and have not been disappointed. Very hygienic, great with eyebrows, great with face waxing, great attitude. This is coming from someone picky and who is very sensitive to face waxing! Everyone is complimenting my eyebrows now as she keeps them nice and thick. Definitely recommend.

I have had excellent eyebrow threading experiences with both Azzy and Preet over the last few years. Would definitely recommend for efficient and quality threading.

Great, clean place in downtown for eyebrow threading, lash lifts and more. Wonderful service from Preet and reasonable prices.

I booked a brow shape and tint, they were barely tinted and my brows came out patchy. Then I was told a completely different price for lash lift so with that and tinting (again, barely tinted) I paid $180. Half of my lashes are gone, I’m in absolute tears. I told the women at the front that wasn’t what I was quoted and they basically told me “that’s it. ” So now I have half my lashes, very unsatisfied with the total treatment and out nearly $200. I’d had a bad treatment before but wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and I was wrong. Save your money and go somewhere else.

First impressions mean a lot to me, and this is not my first time at this location, but, it's been over a year since I've been back. And honestly I am actually somewhat shocked at the lack of professionalism upon entering the space. Immediately upon trying to enter the spcea, a staff member was standing in the doorway completely oblivious to me waiting to try and get in, and upon entering, whisked right past me and started a conversation with the receptionist completely ignoring me. Again, first impressions means a lot, and I will never be back, due to the incredible lack of professionalism. It's amazing how standards have dropped since covid.

Edit: Ive been coming here for years because I like the waxing and the threading service. The woman on the front desk tho needs some training in how to treat their clients. Shes really rude and it wasn't the first time.

Had my first (of hopefully many!) eyebrow threading sessions with Poonam. I was a bit anxious as my brows aren't in a great place due to stress and lack of care on my part. Poonam was not only kind and comforting but took the time to educate me on how the hair grows and her plan for shaping them as they progress. Her warmth is so genuine and eased any anxiety I had immediately. I am looking forward to seeing her again and working on my brows together.

One of the best place to get any sort of waxing done! I had booked an appointment online for the morning, but could not fit my legs and my brazilian wax at the same time, so I booked two separate appointments for different times throughout the day. The wonderful lady at reception, (I am sorry I did not catch your name), was able to schedule everything I needed all at once. That was really amazing that they were able to accommodate so easily.

Now for my experience with my wax session was unreal. Diana was the esthetician appointed for my session, and she was fantastic. I did not feel any pain or any soreness. And I had a brazilian, which is the most painful thing to get done! However, Diana kept my mind off the pain by sharing her stories. She kept me laughing and kept what can be an awkward moment comfortable and relaxing. I give Diana and the girls at Dona Lucia 5 stars.

Diana always does an amazing job with her waxing services. Dona Lucia's pricing list is very reasonable. It's a commute for me to go to the downtown location from New Westminster, but so worth it.

I have been a customer for the past 7 years. I have been a returned customer because I have been all in all happy with the cleanliness, online booking service and their waxing services. However, there is one individual that performs a very poor waxing job. I have been serviced by her for more than 5 times now and every time she leaves the room without checking the area ensuring the provided service is satisfactory. I had to dress up, go to the front desk, and have her come back and correct it. This last time (Jan 6 2021), after notifying her once that there is still hair remaining, she quickly fixed the small area that I pointed out and left the room. I came back home and found a very bad quality service; hair remaining everywhere. In conclusion, I don't recommend this establishment as their service is not consistent and trustworthy.

I got my eyebrows done there, it took overall around 15 minutes only! The person who was doing it asked me multiple times if I like the style or if I see any hair that needs to be removed. She was super friendly, so fast and professional. However, the receptionist could be a little more friendly.
I will definitely get my eyebrows done there from now on.

While getting a back wax the attendant took off her visor and mask as she didn't think I would notice. She was also talking about her thoughts on religion which I found unprofessional. In addition, the room had splatters of wax on the walls and didn't appear clean.

I've been going here for years. Lately the standards have dropped and I've been finding that over my last 5-6 visits I have left and needed up with cuts, blemishes or crooked eyebrows.

Last time I went there for waxing my eyebrow, they hurt my skin and it turned dark purple and was very painful. I notice they increase the price over the past year as well.

I used to love getting my eyebrows done here with Poonam for a very long time but unfortunately I feel like she doesn't listen to what I want anymore and just goes ahead and does her own thing which is NOT okay. I think because I been coming so long or something like that. I really love Dona Lucia I'm scared to try new place but I'm also scared to get threaded again after many years of trusting because I simply feel like she stopped taking the time to listen to me and messing up a woman's eyebrows is pretty serious especially cause I'm Caucasian I have light hair if you mess around they don't always grow back. It really sucks when someone you could trust 100% suddenly changes their style and without warning tries something new on you. Hire a student or model if you want to practice new things on someone, don't disappoint a long term client.

Poonam is the best! Tons of experience and knowledge. I have a scar in my eyebrow and all my previous eyebrow waxing or threading I had done removed so much of my eyebrow because they didn’t know how to properly shape it. It took consistently seeing Poonam to finally let my hairs grow back, and to PROPERLY thread only certain hairs. Eventually the hairs grew long enough to cover most of my scar! My eyebrows look natural and I only need to fill in a small section now.

Poonam is amazing I will definitely be going back. It was my first visit today the service, hospitality, and amazing work she did on my eyebrows really impressed me. Plus their hours are great for people like me who get off work late! 100% going to recommending to my friends.

They never fail to provide great service. Whether it's a wax or getting your brows threaded they're the best option downtown and great value as well. Whenever I am in a pinch they seem to always have availability. My favourite place my far downtown for my hair removal needs.

I got Brazilian waxing yesterday and it was my first time to visit this shop. I get Brazilian waxing once a month regularly but they charge me $ 47 (this one for first time Brazilian waxing) but they said this price for the customer who visit the shop for the first time.it took just 3 minutes and so many hair still left.you think it worth $47 for 3 minutes with so many hair left?

I like that they have an online booking system but you should put a message that you don't provide Gel for pedicures. Best way to describe my experience was "odd". Not rude but odd.nobody really spoke to me and just moved me upstairs where there were old chairs, no foot soak.nothing.asked me to pick a color and then i was greeted by a lady standing next to me just staring at me.when I asked about gel another lady popped out from around the corner advising that a lot of places don't do gel and they don't last as long.it was not a friendly encounter.at that point I told her I was cancelling my appt.her reply was she did not care and I walked out. I went 2 doors down and had a great gel pedicure.

I've been getting my brows done here for years. This week I went in to get my brows threaded. Was very surprised when the lady pulled out tweezers and just plucked my eyebrows. When I asked her why she was plucking my eyebrows she replied "everyone has their own technique". Excuse me? Plucking my eyebrows when I am paying for threading is not a "technique" - its a completely different type of hair removal! Left with over-plucked thin brows that I could have just done myself. Was very upset with this service. If you go in and are booked in with the lady with a monroe piercing - run away. Will not be returning.

It's very unfortunate to write this review, as I've been going to Dona Lucia for all hair removal for over 5 years now. I've always had a preference on the person who did my eyebrows, after over 2 years of getting eyebrows thread with the same girl I decided to switch and find another person as she was not doing a good job with my eyebrows, I know they offer fast service and are not super attentive to detail but she literally would take around 2-3 min to thread my eyebrows. I've recommended her multiple times to be careful with the middle part as I've noticed that thread was leaving them so uneven so I requested her to wax in the middle. She did not care and still thread my brows leaving them super uneven when I looked at myself in the mirror I pointed this out to her (I've been her client for 2 years) and she said I was wrong and they looked fine. After this, although it was SUPER awkward to go again and get services from ANOTHER lady in the same spot, i decided to go for it as they do have other talented women, I've been going to this shop for years, it's near my house and prices were convenient for me. I decided to go with Sarah as I've learned she was very good from other people's comments, I was happy with her service and attention to detail, she took at least 10-15 min really shaping and carefully threading my eyebrows just as I've asked her, unfortunately she left on holidays and is returning in July, I haven't had my eyebrows done in over 1 month and a half cause I did not know who to trust this time. I went for it again, and booked another experienced lady from what I was able to judge. I was very disappointed with her, she did not do a good job with my eyebrows at all, she completely changed the shape to a very straight one instead of nicely arched. I have really good, thick and dark eyebrows so it's not that they work "with whatever they can" she ruined my shape and now have to go get them fixed and pay even more money some other place. Adding to the bad experiences with the actual service, the former lady who used to do my eyebrows was always there for my other appointments and made my experience even more awkward staring at what the other ladies did in my face and clearly annoyed that i was there again, getting services from others. After all these experiences I won't be going again as I can not rely on "luck" and pray that the next lady actually knows how to thread and shape eyebrows. Very unfortunate, I will have to look elsewhere.

Not great customer service!
I gotta say I’ve had better experiences there. I usually go for waxing but saw a sign outside saying free gift with purchase of eminence products. I went in and asked and they said they thought they were all gone. Then the girl walked away. I asked the front desk something about a cleanser because I’m looking for one and use eminence for cream and mask and scrub. They girl just didn’t answer me and then someone else walked up saying she didn’t know much about the products but why not answer me. And put the sign away if there are no free products! I will probably be going somewhere else.

Fast quick and painless- I’m always out of here in less than 15 minutes
Not to mention if I show up early are usually have a good chance of getting in and out even sooner than I expected

Very disappointed with the way Sara spoke to me. I have never received worse customer service in my entire life. She was completely rude, tactless and unprofessional. If you keep letting her treat clients like that you will lose the vast majority of them.

Great place, as long as you don’t get Sarah as an “esthetician”. If you do though - she ll make sure to spoil your day with her absolutely inappropriate attitude and comments. If you don’t know basic manners and how to talk to clients you sure as hell shouldn’t be working with people at all. Plus you ll leave with your brows looking worse than before the invisible tint she does (prepare to pay full price for it!). And be ready to spend more on a brow pencil you ll need after she leaves you browless.

Have gone here a few times for eyebrow threading and tinting. Since my last appointment a few days ago, my skin has broken out with red, painful bumps. I don't understand why you would thread and then proceed to put vaseline over open pores? Not impressed.

I've gone here for threading a few times. The threading was okay. Well, I decided to try their Brazilian wax and it was terrible. Daniela painfully rushed through it. When I mentioned the pain and blood, she replied it was because I hadn't been waxing lately. Once I got home I realized she actually torn some of my skin. She also left lots of wax on me and many hairs behind. I don't understand how they can provide such low quality service. I had Brazilians before at salons that specialize in bikini waxing but I have never had an experience like this before. Please, don't get a Brazilian wax here. It might look tempting because of cost and availability but it's not worth it.
