Donair Affair

They’re rude. The first thing I asked was for a platter with half lettuce and half rice. The lady agreed and gave me half the rice. After I realized there was no lettuce I asked for it and they proceeded to tell me they don’t do that. Meat also tasted like cardboard.

Unfortunately I can see why they have such low rating. Our most recent experience was quite negative. The lady behind the counter was rude and unfriendly. She did not mention that the feta cheese was an additional $1- for a quarter teaspoon of cheese!? I think it’s common decency to at least let the customer know it’s extra when most Donair places include it for free. Aside from that, the rice was flavourless and the chicken was black and burned. Extremely dissatisfied and will never go back.

Simply the best Donairs in the Lower Mainland hands down. The ladies beh8nd the counter are awesome.

Yes, it is true. They have massive hidden fees. Regular beef donair with no cheese was advertised as $7.75 but I ended up paying $9.29. I paid cash too. Avoid this place.

Been going here for a couple months now and they have never let us down. Love it here and they are so nice and the food is great!

They didn't seem to know what was going on. They made my friend's order before mine and we were not ordering g together yet they had them mixed up. For meat they have become very cheap and usually now give you the amount that used to be a regular as a super. And a regular has become much less meat. The owners got cheap and also are not good hosts/servers

Cheat you on the price. They up charge and don't tell you. Dirty, and unsanitary. Handled cash and then went back to making food. Never coming back.

Great food! Lamb was well done and was a good price for the amount of food that came with the meal!

Never have I ever been to a donair place worse than this, the staff is rude, cheap and to call what they make a “donair” a donair is insulting to food. They try to cheap out with every single ingredient. I basically paid for a lettuce wrap instead of the beef donair I thought I was getting. Avoid this place at all costs.

There was a whole family just standing behind the counter and watching TV. The older lady was rather rude and could have been more polite when asking about orders. I've had better donair elsewhere. Will not return. They tried overcharging for cheese aswell when they dont tell you that it costs extra. They are not following health codes and are building the chicken stacks in the sink. The chicken is the lowest of quality and super fatty, it almost tastes like turkey.

Cheese is $3 extra! When they say "everything on it" that implies that, apparently.

Used to be the best Donair place around. They really cut down on the size, a super is smaller than a regular used to be. The ratios are off now. Unfortunate decline. Still okay for a quick fix.
