Donair Affair

The food tastes good, not a very comfortable place to eat however. Took a while to get served though.

Out of over about 30 donair/shawarma shops tried, first one to charge for hummus, note hummus was liquid.

Saw.tha Asian lady cut uncooked meat off the roaster and I said that's not done. She ignored me we had chicken and we all got food poisoning. It's all profit not doing right by your community. Never go here

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would.

First day of snow in Chilliwack and we decide to try this place. When we arrive, the lady working the front is clearly extremely grumpy and not a friendly person. No welcoming smile, no politeness.

When she started making our food, we noticed a leak coming down from the ceiling. The leak was coming down in multiple places, including the counter on which they make the food.

I said “I think you guys have a leak” and pointed to the ceiling, the leaks were very obvious, water was dripping down considerably. She responded with “yeah, we know. It’s not in the food area so it’s okay, nothing we can do about it”

I responded with “I actually just saw two drops hit right where you’re holding my food and splash all on the counter”.

She gave me a dirty look, and I decided that it was time to leave.

The workers have no customer service skills but most importantly, no concern for people’s safety. Even without taking Foodsafe, it’s pretty obvious that you shouldn’t be open serving food when your ceiling is leaking water in the food prep area.

I found splintered sharp bones in the chicken donair that I bought for my kid.
The food also tastes bland and bad.
I don't normally leave reviews, but finding sharp bones in a donair is not safe! Buyer Beware.

Amazing staff who are kind and generous, making real food and serving it promptly and perfectly. 0 complaints over tons of visits, give this location a try.

I swear do you dog food probably taste better than this this is trash the food is the most disgusting food I’ve ever eaten ever

First time at this location and I found the staff to be very friendly, kind and Informative and I would recommend this eatery, two thumbs up

Definitely did not grab enough napkins for all the meat and sauce they crammed in that little pita but it sure was delicious. And you can tell a lot of a place by its bathroom cleanliness. Five stars: would pee and eat there again.

The changes to the portions, rice and spices on the chickens are very disappointing!
This was my go to donair shop at least once a week for many years. I may have to rethink this in the future.

Definitely notice a service and quality difference between the locations but this one is good. Super chicken is a generous portion.

It didn't really feel like a Donair shop inside, flavours kind of bland, and not much taste to the meats and sauces.

It was wrapped loosely so some of it fell out the bottom. The super Donair I ordered was just a regular sized donair, if comparing it to other shops, it was alright.

Definitely not the best I've had, also they charge you for sweet sauce, which is new to me from any donair shop I've ever been to. They also charged me for feta and didnt put any on.

The lady I delt with was nice, but all in all I probably will try a different spot next time I'm searching for a donair.

The food was delicious. This is a go to place for Greek style fast food. Service was great. The only thing that stops me from giving 5 stars was the condition of the seating area. Tables were dirty with waste and furniture was broken and in poor condition. Restroom is locked, so you have to interrupt the food preparers for access. Perhaps due to the location.

Parking was abundant and easy to access.

What a surprise! I was recommended to eat here by a gen z son of a friend of mine. He said the food was great. So I tried it. The staff were friendly and the food was great! I can see why a growing gen z would love the place. The portions were huge. I'll be back for sure. Only critism. The space is devoid of atmosphere. It doesn't take much to make the chairs more comfortable, upgrade the flooring and replace the tables. Just saying.

People that work there really don't wanna be there and looks like like they hate the job they do but we are here to talk about the good so, it's good taking in consideration that around Cottonwood Mall you won't find any good size proper food for only 13 dollars.
