Donair Affair

Bought Donairs here for the first time tonight. Absolutely garbage food. I live 2 blocks away, got home started eating and the donairs fell apart. DON'T WASTE YOU MONEY EATING HERE

This is the second location that gave us poor quality meat. First was Fraser/160, and now here. We ordered through skip and got our usual - rice platter with chicken - and this gave my hubby food poisoning. I don't know how you guys are handling your meat, but you're putting a lot of peoples health at risk. Very poor service!

Hospitality is very amazing as well as the food I ordered tasted delicious than before. All in all everything is amazing here.

I come here at least every other day for lunch and i’ve never been let down. The staff are the best, super friendly and quick, and the food is fire. Hands down the best donair i’ve ever had and always consistent!

Food was not good at all.tasteless.watered down. The salad was bitter tasting. I would not recommend this location

Normally good! But has certainly been slipping. Today I received two-thirds of a serving. When the person at the register asked what it was. The person who made the food did not know how to answer.

Well the answer was Rice and Lamb. Got charged for Rice and chicken. But I am pretty sure they are a similar price anyway.

The unfortunate part is when I opened it up as I got home. The quantity has dropped by a third. The quality is the same "toss it in and hope is stays" I probably would have had more value getting a little Caesars pizza. Sigh. I will just drive out to new west for donairs.

Food it's horrible, the warm on the microwave i spent my money with something awful. The food looks bad and test worst. Read my review never order anyone there.

Absolutely delicious donair, I highly reccomend for any meal, especially for student looking for lunch as when I went to school they gave us a student discount

They have the worst food it’s so oily and it taste like fish I don’t recommend this restaurant for anyone you can find way more better food in different restaurant. I only took one bite of my sandwich and I throwit away. I was thoroughly disgusted and I would never come back.

Ordered the rice platter I swear there portions have shrunk alot very cheap. I guess Justinflation has been getting to them but I won’t come back and eat at your restaurant just to go back home to eat. A lot of better places that charge the same and give you a good portion and taste better.

Very tasty chicken donair wraps! At the bottom of the wrap, it is very saucy and can get messy (maybe not the best to eat in the car). 10/10 would recommend!

Went there on Wednesday, such a good place, guy working there was really polite and helped me through menu as it was my first time. Good food

My first donair expierence was with this place, and I had to say it was pretty good. After eating at other donair restaurants and trying this food last night (donair and rice) the food was mediocre.

Chicken was over cooked, veggies where soggy, and they had probably the worst hummus I've ever tasted.

Old owners food was way more flavourful and the quantity was way more for the same price. This was my go too place, sad that it went down hill

Mandeep and Dupinder are just awesome girls there. They give good service and the food is always very tasty. Keep up the good work guys.

Really good food and excellent customer service. The staff is always super friendly and accommodating. I come here at least a few times a week and am never disappointed. Definitely recommend!

I ordered a donair from here the other night, it was delicious. I put in the additional instructions on skipthedishes "make it with lots of love, I love you! " And in my bag I received a note saying they love me too, which i now have hung on my fridge. It was hilarious, alot of fun, and an incredible example of customer service. They made my day and a customer for a lifetime.

Its a so so food. Didn't know why they want to put mayonnaise in a donair? Veggies and sauce options were less aswell. Its a one time to go restaurant.

Love donair affair, defiantly my go to for donair, because no matter what location there always big and beefy. I get sweet sauce only like east coast style

Food was ok. I ordered a donair and the pita was stale and just fell apart like nothing. I asked for hot sauce and did not get any. Doesn't seem like it's very fresh. Poor quality. I'm beginning to feel sick as well. I won't order from here again

Convenient place to send your couriers by Purolator. Ample of parking also available with different stores like Triple O, available in premises.

First time to this place, and I ordered Rice with Chicken. The food are pretty good and tasty. The rice is perfectly cooked. Highly recommend this place. The ladies who works there also very nice. Price is a little bit pricey, but it's okay because the food is really good and worth it.

Food had zero flavour. The donairs were essentially loads of lettuce and some meat. Hardly any other vegetables and the sauces had zero flavour.

Absolutely disgusting! One star is way too much. Just found a cockroach in my chicken rice platter meal. Took it back immediately. Employees didn't know how to process a refund on the cash register. Manager called owner multiple times but the owner couldn't be bothered to come in to do a proper refund or apologize! He told the girls to tell me that I would have to wait until Monday to get a properly processed refund. Never going back and would NOT recommend!

I have been trying out Donair Dude’s various location in the lower mainland. Drove past this one so decided to try it!

1. Very clean store, staff is professional and Covid protocols are being maintained.

2. This location was surprisingly expensive than the other locations.

3. The chicken tasted average

4. Portions are good and when you request for extra sauces or vegetables they are nice enough to add more.

5. Looked like a busy location for sure.

I ordered the super falafel.
I asked for hummus, sweet sauce and hot sauce.

I left the store and opened it outside.

1) there was no hot sauce or sweet sauce
2) they slopped on way too much hummus. (i asked for a little bit of each)
3) the falafel was not hot.not even medium warm.part was even cold.so it was not cooked properly either.
4) service was below average.

I have never been to this location before, but since I was in the area I thought it would be worth going to.

I will conclude I was highly disappointed with my food.

The food was good but the service was not what I was aspecting.as the person was taking my order they were on there phone talking to someone. Not paying any attention to me and I had to repeat myself many times.

Screwed up my order I asked for lamb they give me chicken. So you can’t tell the difference between lamb and chicken last time I eat here in general.

Their falafal wrap is good and service was good too. The girls working their welcome you with nice smile.

I do not know what is up with all of the bad reviews this place gets. It's not perfect but I went to this place around two to three times a week for a couple months and I always experienced amazing service from the people who worked there. I always ordered the chicken rice platter which pairs perfectly with a mango Arizona. The hummus is amazing and the three sauces they put on the chicken and rice is so delicious and flavorful, I am excited to come back.

Health and safety: 0 stars.
Employees and customers not wearing masks during Covid 19. Totally unacceptable.
Management should make masks compulsory for employees as well as customers.

Hair in my food.

I’ve been to this location multiple times and it’s always the same two women working, lovely ladies, super nice, great at their jobs. They both have beautiful long hair and wear it in ponytails for work but NO HAIR NETS. The last time I went I ordered 3 donairs and 2/3 had hair in them. Won’t be going back now.

I love eating here. I love the food.but I just wish I new what nutrients are in the food. I'm bulking phase and I am always hungary, however I still wana no what's in what.like how many carbs and protien and sodium.otherwise the foods delicious.

They don't have halal food if anyone is looking for it. Usually donairs are mostly halal but this is not.

Ordered lamb rice platter
. Hardly any meat on it. Lady just loaded it with lots of rice and sauce

The food tasted good, but the person making it clearly doesn't care. The Donair I ordered was so loosely wrapped that it was not able to be eaten as a wrap. Fork, knife, and plate should not be needed to eat a Donair. The sauce was excessive, and so disproportionately spread that I required the knife to actually get it to cover more than 1/8 of the Donair, which also resulted in a soggy side of the wrap. This is without a doubt the worst put together Donair I've had to eat. The taste was the only saving grace.

I just sent GF to get a donair.wrote exactly how i wanted it on paper.still wrong.been here dozen time because i love donairs and not once was order correct.

Staff are extremely rude!

Stay far away from here; they hate their jobs and they HATE if you altar your order in anyway; they want to do it the way they want and get you out of there as fast as they can.

The service was kind of rude and the donair was average and quite forgettable. If you want an excellent donair and superb service, check out Tasty Donair instead.

I went there right now, ordered a rice platter and she gave me rice plate and claimed I didn’t tell her properly when I go there every week with my family. Very poor customer service when I even said I wanted rice platter and she said.yeah sorry about it.it’s food so I didn’t wanna argue about it n paid and left with bad service. Thanks

Last week I went to grab a Donair from here before work. After buying a Mix donair I found a long hair inside the Donair. Very disgusting. Not recommend this place at all. Do not go there unless you wanna get sick and eat dirty food in here.

Don’t waste your money here. Beef donair flavourless / soggy- just disgusting.
Way better places out there.

Food was yummy and fresh staff was friendly and even gave my daughter a free bag of chips after dinner

Easily the best Donair place in Surrey. I go there one or two times a month, and haven't gotten tired of it, if it's even possible. Staff is nice and services is very fast. Pricing is average, even though there are definitely some cheaper alternatives. Once again, love Donair Affair. Can only wish them to continue what they're doing!

DO NOT visit this place. The girl behind the counter was so rude! Anyone would think I did something wrong ordering food. She clearly has NO customer service skills. Her attitude is beyond disgusting and disrespectful. She is the one who has been there for a long time.she rolled her eyes at me, could not understand basic instructions. When challenged she became argumentative! If I could give a zero for this review I would. Food was not the best either. Have orderd donair elsewhere where service is friendly and food is delicious. Honestly save your time and money and go elsewhere!
