Donair and Sub House - Vancouver

This is the second time in a week and a half that I ordered from here, the first time it was better, the portions were more "well-portioned". Today it was quite disappointing. This is a blended review of the two times. The wrap is quite basic, the veggies are anemic, the chicken feels like it has been sitting around for a long time. They have the potential to be a great shawarma place, they just need to change a few things.

My favourite casual eats place in the neighbourhood. I've been ordering from them for a while through UberEats, and wanted to leave a positive review because they deserve it. The food always arrives fresh, delicious and in large portions. The prices are very reasonable. They're always accommodating with my order needs and I appreciate the little "thank you" or fyi notes they leave on the bag to communicate. You can tell they actually care about their customers.:)

I never write such positive reviews, but this is my second time coming here, and absolutely loved their food. I tried other donair places, but they weren't good. I think I found my place. I rarely eat meat, and tried their lamb donair and their falafel, some of the best I've had. Their thick cut crispy fries are great too! For such a small place, they seem busy. Nice and very friendly staff. Definitely coming back again

I got lamb for dinner from uber eats.it tastes disgusting and feels rotten.edit to answer the reply:

Adding vegetable does not change the fact that the meat is not well spiced and also dated.the next day t I also had salad for lunch and following your instruction, mixing it with salad made my whole lunch taste awful.in uber eats it said to choose between 1-6 toppings.which should not make me do the salad base.when I see topping and don't choose vegetable topping I am not expecting the salad base to be gone.hiding the awful taste of meet in salad and sauce is not a fix and gas lighting a customer for navigating your confusing instructions isn't a way to run a business.

Really best donair in Town!

Beware! Their Uber Eats delivery portion is extremely small. $16 for a very small box. I unfortunately got of 2 of those.

I've been a customer here for a while now and the quality and portion is definitely one of the greatest. Friendly staff

My favorite: Donair poutine with chicken

Sometimes you crave a good Donair and Pita. Every time I go to the shop, the consistency of the wraps having a satisfying crunch (fresh veggies), tender meat, and fresh sauces done by Donair and Sub House is unmatched. Having had their wraps, the rice bowls, I think their food is well prepared, well seasoned, and well handled.

End of day, above and beyond the quick, convenient and tasty food, the staff here is extremely friendly and I have never had a bad experience with them.

If you anyone wants tasteless donair or platter, this is the place to go. Meat has no flavour. Hummus taste like sand from sand dunes. Sauces has no flavour and plain rice makes it even more tasteless meal. I think owner or manager needs training from any traditional donair place for improvement.
