Went to this location donair dudes location for the first time, food was delicious and Harman’s was outstanding!

Awesome! Place on David to grab a quick dinner. This looks like it's a franchised outlet since it is very organized and you have a good system in place. Happy staff also makes the experience enjoyable.

My favorite way of approaching the building of your wrap is just tell them to add all the toppings except for the pineapple.

Very cold falafel. I then went back to have another one made. After three bites, I had to throw the wrap out as the tomatoes were rotten. I then called in to let them know and was apologized to; however, after paying $15 plus tip, it was a waste of time and money. Time to go get Tums for stomach ache.

Always been regular there and leave a tip.
A few days ago I found a long hair in my donair.

Today the guy wanted to give me a donair that was falling a part and just because a made a comment he offered me to make a new one.
The new one was most discussing with no taste, half veggies and meet donair.
I will never come back there again. Bye Bye.

Ate here for the first time and fufilled all of my cravings, had the donair poutine which was delicious and was served a large portion! My partner got the chicken rice bowl which had a nice balance of everything, we actually ended up switching meals since I enjoy the variety. The owner of the store was very friendly and we had a nice chat. For their portions and for vancouver prices, I would say they are reasonably priced. Would eat again!

If you are looking for reasonable with a great portion of Poutine, you should go and try Donair Dude

I try not to leave negative reviews, but these guys clearly don't know what a donair is. This is like a restaurant called 'Hamburger Dude' that serves a slice of ham in wonder bread. You would ask yourself, "have these guys ever seen a hambuger before? " Besides the irony of calling a business Donair Dude and not serving donairs, the food just wasn't good. I asked for sweet sauce and I have to wonder if they forgot to put it on. The meat and the pita were both powder dry.

Food is great, they are fast, and the service can't be any better. You can't get your choice wrong from the menu

The inflation shrink ray hit this place hard. Tortilla donair was like half the size from last year. Shame because I loved this place before and now it's kind of meh.
Lamb was pretty dry.

I didn't like the wrap, it was so cold and the toppings were at one side of it and other side was falafel, doesn't make any sense. Will not recommend

Open late, guaranteed to satisfy. Very filling, a pita absolutely STUFFED with meat and whatever else you want. Started coming here back in 2012 and it's still mostly unchanged, still leave here feeling full and happy every time. In comparison a lot of other donair places in the city often leave you feeling not quite full yet. Don't even get me started on the burrito places where you pay the same price for something that is 80% rice. Donair dude might seem expensive at first glance but you get your money's worth.

The donairs are usually very tasty! The donairs are quite big. If you're not the type to eat much, bring a friend and share halves or you can have the rest for later (they get very soggy though).

Warning: If coming as a group, be wary.they tend to get your order wrong.try to keep an eye on what they're putting in and which order is yours.

The service is great and food is always warm and tasty.

This was a decent place for a quick bite. Donair in Vancouver has been quite a letdown so far. But for what it was, our meal here was fresh and healthy.

Would have been a great donair if it had sauce on it. Ordered two and requested sweet sauce. Not a drop

So I ordered the donair meat and fries bowl and I observed that they put less meat on top maybe like one scoop of meat and rest are all fries. I have ordered the same thing on the granville location and no doubt they made it way better and more quantity. This davie location they always trying to rush. I don’t prefer going there again.

A year ago, it was good not great but still worth it, now though, terrible! They got our Uber order wrong twice. The lamb poutine we got was terrible, meat was dry, curds were not melted at all and it was too salty, I don’t recommend this place at all!

Not the closest Donair place to me but I walk out of my way for it. These guys are great! Good energy, quick service- and they treat the St Paul’s staff well.

Most disgusting place on earth. The lady who served me where wearing her face-mask on the chin and the cook was not wearing a face-mask at all.

The quality is not same as before and the donair size gets smaller and smaller.
Staff also doesn’t care about covid and sometimes their mask is just hanging from their ears. That’s not having mask dude.

Great portion sizes for a great price. Wonderful staff. It's my first time having a grilled Donair. Fantastic. Fresh ingredients and tasty sauces. Way to go guys!

The quality has dropped while prices have gone up. Very disappointed with the super salty beef warp.didn't taste like beef at all. They put so much sauce in your wrap so that you wouldn't notice the low quality

The best shawarma place on Davie street as for me. Tastes good, quality of a service and food is also on a decent level

It's usually really good. One donair is very big, so it's a good meal on its own. If you're two, you can even share half and maybe get a side if you want to feel fuller. If you're there with a few people, do it separately. They will get your order wrong.

This was once one of the best donair shops however they have since gone downhill. They have raised prices and lowered both quality and quantity. As well they are so focused on giving the bare minimum that they now forget to add sauces. Ordered a donair, came dry with no sauce on it. Not sure how you could miss such a crucial step in the process, considering the chit being followed outlined the sauces I requested. If you are going to go to Donair Dude, try Granville or a whole other company. The quality is just not here anymore.

The man who was working tonight was alone, but did a fantastic job and went above and beyond. Will be coming back

Got to Vancouver around Midnight and was very hungry. Wasn't expecting much but this was delicious late night food, very close to the donair style I had in Berlin. Thank you for having great food so late available during covid

We discovered this place quite randomly while walking on Davie. Loved the food! Ended up eating there about 7 times that week.
My boyfriend loves their chicken poutine.
I love their donairs! A simple and familiar product, but made with quality ingredients

First of all the staff doesn't know to sort out things and how to deal with a customer.specially waiter Valeria.the guy in the night shift does not know how to make donair.things written on a kitchen order ticket. I hope he does not understand.and in case the customer complaint.they start blaming the customer that we are rude.what a good way of dealing with the customer. I hope people on westend should read the review and then think about ordering from them.

Very good donair on Davie street! They’ve tightened their belts a little during the pandemic by reducing the quantity of meat they provide. But it’s still a good value, and they have a great crew working there!

Super clean place when looking at the shop from out side. They don't let any customers in the shop due to COVID and they serve through a window which is great. Here is the sad part though, the guy who was making my sandwich and while wearing a mask and gloves, keep pulling his mask up like 7 or 8 times when he was making my sandwich. Are you serious? Touching your mask and making a sandwich with the same gloves? And repeatedly doing that?
1. Change your mask my friend, get an smaller mask for yourself. 2. Use scoops, avoid using hands when putting the topping on sandwiches. I will never go back. I would have given this location a zero star if it was an option.

Zero star. After waiting 10 min they just gave us one of our orders.i was lucky that I looked into the bag.even after that they gave me some low quality Falafel and kinda burnt and broken look like some one already has a bite.they even didn’t put donair sauce one the beef and fries bowl while they asked what we want! I would never go there considering that they are pretty over priced too

It's a hit or miss. Sometimes its stale chicken and sometimes its fresh. Usually decent but when it's not the freshest it can be pretty gross. Not the best tasting donair place (al-basha a block away has better flavour) but this place really loads the meat

Just ordered a falafel wrap with just one falafel and all the veggies including tabouli and pineapple.
Almost all pita no filling. Very disappointing.
The wrap used to be full and heavy, this was a rip off!

Ya know. It was good. Not sure about the beef. Tasted kinda like pepperoni. Service was fast and excellent. I'll go back and try out the chicken Donaire.

This donair changed my life. For the better. I have let go of all my fear and hate and now embrace the world with love. All thanks to a donair. The baklava is pretty tip top too.

The staff is really friendly and the food is super good. I find a lot of places have dry meat But the meat at this place is amazing. It’s my go to place for donairs!

This place has all of the aesthetics of a generic donair place, but it is a cut above most of them.

So, to be fair, I have loved this place (Hastings st location) and recommended them to a lot of people. The taste and quality are there, but it is expensive for a sandwich. $11 plus a buck tip before I get my food prepared. Then (as per usual) I get anxious when they put in the meat. Sometimes it's enough, but half the time it is less than I hoped for. The manager was in tonight and, after getting 2/3 size sandwich and asking for a bit more but not receiving it, asked for an explanation. He assured me that the arbitrary amount of meat I get was weighed at 110 grams. This was not true and I called him on it. He assured me that if he weighed it, it would be 110 grams. I probably should have let him (as he pointed to the unused scale on the shelf) for spite and left after, but I needed to eat. I told him he was losing a customer over cheaping out over a few more slices of meat to fulfill an $11 value, but dismissed me with a smile. Not my kind of place that has no integrity and smiles at the loss of a loyal customer. End rant.

Always fast for door dash. The staff get it done and have a loyal local crowd as there busy.give them a raise!

Mediocre chain. Falafels are not fresh, meat is bland, staff is stingy with servings, overpriced for what you get. I’ve been to multiple locations now.
If you want heart burn and bland food for $10-13 this is the place.

Eat in a well ventilated area.i ate this in my apartment and a day later it still reeks like rancid donair.everything made of fabric picked up the smell of the donair and i fear my couches will never lose this smell.also after washing my hands about 20 times and going to work the next day i can still smell the donair on my hands.not sure how or why this happened but its absolutely disgusting.

It was very mediocre! Had the lamb which was bland. You have to add a hunch of spices and sauces to it to add flavor. I was disappointed.

It is the second time that I am trying this location and by far it is the best Donair Kabob in Vancouver.
In addition of quality of food and the portion of food, the staff are friendly and very fast. I served by Hatem tonight, whom was great and friendly.

When this place first opened it was amazing. Great staff and very big portions. Now. Still great staff but prices have increased and portions have gotten terribly worse.

The staff here behave like lifeless zombies. It was very frustrating to deal with them and they even forgot some things in my order. To make things worse, the chicken and vegetables tasted very old and gross. Never coming back again!

I only get tabouleh and chicken on my pitas. I asked for extra tabouleh and they said I could only have one scoop. Ridiculous - 1 star

Great first experience with this place today. Staff and owner were extremely polite and gave me a new order after I found out their chicken wasn't halal (beef and lamb is). He also provided me with the wifi for the stay. Will be back.

Kebab from this place is good, I never had bad one. Price is reasonable and filling is also tasty. I would recommend to try.

Great customer service and very clean environment. Food was little blend though.their tatzuki sauce is a bit watery and less flavourful

Absolutely nothing negative to say about Donair Dude. Excellent food, prices, people, and clean restaurant. Love it here. Definitely try their kebabs!

The food here is horrendous. The vegetables are visibly old, the sauces are disgusting, the meat has no flavour. The only redeemable quality is the pita bread. Absolutely everything else about the food is revolting.

OMGGGG the staff tonite are brutal.usually this place is on point. Whoever is working tonite needs a few lessons with the normal efficiency of this place.

Tasty but i was given a donair with literally no meat. Think the guy behind the counter could do with cracking a smile also

Ordered the Chicken donair box. Horrible as their Korean server didn’t explain that they didn’t have rice or any carbs included with the a 15 dollar meal. Ridiculous never going back there no wonder it was empty.
