Donair Dude

Recommend to friend yesterday and he just informed me that the donair was excellent and enough for 2 people. Highly recommended by him who loves a good donair

The plate here is pre packed and microwaved. Not saying it's not edible, but thinking that even shawarma now is microwave food is gross.

Amazing restaurant with great service, but I can't tell what it is but their food is just not good. I'm not sure if it's the seasoning or sauces.but it tastes bad every time I come here (5 separate times in 5 years.different donair dude restaurants). The flavors just don't mix, my girlfriend feels the same. It's disappointing because otherwise it's a great lunch spot.

Amazing food, fresh tasting n satisfying as heck. Never had a grilled donair but definitely will come back for more!

Donair dude is my absolute fav for Donairs. There is so many great fresh options to choose from and the staff are always so kind and welcoming. So happy they opened up in Port Moody!

Went to Donair Dude with my family and I was really blown away with all the options and the menus. There are so many options for many dietary needs. The quality, taste and freshness of the food was exceptional. The staff is knowledgeable and family

I’ve been looking forward to this place opening for months and I am so disappointed. $18 for a donair that I couldn’t eat because the lamb was chewy with gristle. I took two bites and threw it out. The staff was friendly and nice but the prices are ridiculous for the quality. Would NOT recommend!

The best experience i’ve ever had eating Donair. I seriously recommend everyone to stop by and grab a bite to eat from this Donair Dude. From the moment I walked in the staff welcomed me and made me feel at home. The food was spectacular! But the thing that surprised me most is that they balance speed and taste. It’s so very difficult to get good Donair in a timely manner and I’m happy this new location has the combo down. I have way way way more to say but honestly just HURRY UP AND GET THERE! THE FOOD TAKES UR BREATHE AWAY!

I used to make the trip downtown very frequently to visit the original location, long before the fame and franchise. I was practically an ambassador for Donair dude, recommended it wholeheartedly to anyone with ears. Well let me tell you, boy do i miss what donair dude really used to be! It was by far the best donairs you could find in the lower mainland and had such a humble owner. I guess the franchising and fame made them start to think about all the pennies they've missed out on because not only has the quality gone quite a bit downhill, but the options are limited and charged for now. Some locations don't have certain meats, other locations don't have the same vegetables or sauce options. The meat is prepackaged wet meat now, it's almost gag worthy.its a bummer as I used to LOVE donair dude, but almost everything that made the experience whole and unique has been traded in for quick bucks and short term goals. Sad to say, but donair dude is no longer on my "to eat" list. I avoid it now and no longer recommend it. Maybe the owners will have a change of heart and recognize what made them famous in the first place.but i won't hold my breath: (

Good but expensive! Once you add cheese, the donair is close to $19. It is sizable and tasty. Unlike other Donair dudes, they don't have garlic sauce. They do have some sale items and a lot of other menu items besides their donair which is called a 'wrap'. I may come back when my wallet is feeling fat.

Great food and even better service. The owner is very friendly and makes sure you’re getting exactly what you want. Portions are huge for the platters and can easily make 2 meals out of it so the price is fair. Definitely my new favorite spot for a quick bite to eat.

et conviviales -personnel efficace et sympathique-
enfin, assurément pas onéreuses au vu de la qualité et de la quantité.
C'est donc un endroit que je recommande particulièrement.

I wonder if the manager who sets up the pay system knows what leaving a tip means? Haven’t even received the food and it’s shoved in our face. A tip is for service. Plain and simple.

They mixed up my order and without hesitation they corrected it. I have been to the downtown Donair Dude several times and I think this location uses better ingredients. Will be going back!

Ordered a lamb donair, the stainless steel bin the restaurant used to keep their lamb and other ingredients was near empty. The employee filling my Donair used the last greasy bits of lamb. A small scoop and a half of lamb. That's it! Along with the left over grease at the bottom. Employee gave me no options for the lack of Lamb for my $17 Dollar Donair! Yes $17 dollars. Due to the bottom of the barrel lamb and the poor value, I'm not returning.

This donair place is amazing. There ingredients and sauces are just so good. And the meet is always super good.add to it a really nice team. For me it's the best donair place around BC

Trop trop bon, la poutine agneau et le donair étaient excellents. Le personnel trés agréable, attentionné et souriant. Je reviendrai avec plaisir.

What's not to love about this place? Donair dude is my go-to in new westminster and i was eager to try this new location.not suprisingly, staff and food did NOT disappoint.i had the chicken donair and my friend had a falafel platter.both were fresh & delicious.staff was super friendly!

We tried this place today and we will definitely be returning! The restaurant was very clean, staff very friendly, plenty of options on the menu and fresh veg and sauces! We had a chkn pita and falafel pita and both were delicious.huge portions. Can't go wrong!
