Donair dude commercial drive

The worst donair I have ever tried before. Mostly It was empty inside, and they will ask you extra charges if you want some ingredients with meat. For chicken donair it costed me 13.50 and it doesn't worth 5$. The spicy sauce was terrible, for someone like me who doesn't like Indian sauces don't go there.

Great food! Large portions and fresh ingredients. Ive been a customer for years -they have best fries & onion rings on the drive as well as donair meat is mildly spicy but not too much and falafel is crunchy but also soft inside -perfect!

Ordered a lamb plate with extra chicken, through delivery.
The lamb and chicken donair was decent, however the pineapple was rotten. I think it had expired. When I ate it, I had to spit it out immediately.
Upon further checking I confirmed that the pineapple smelled rotten so I threw that part out. Didn't really feel like eating the rest of the salad after that.
Called the store twice around 1: 50 pm, to let them know. But no one picked up and it kept going to voicemail. Had they picked up, maybe I wouldn't have had to write a public review.

I went on thursday november 23th at 00: 21 every single person working at that moment were giving an amazing service.

Bought Lamb donair,
for the price I expected good portion of meat but the girl literally gave me a one bite worth portion of meat in the entire donair. I literally had a salad donair.extremely cheap. Won't be coming back.

I’ve tried a donair from almost every part of the city and by far this franchise and location in particular, deserves a full five star rating in my books!
From the friendly atmosphere, and rocket speed of service, happy smiling ladies filling the orders as well as the supervisor/ chef.
It was a top shelf experience!
I will definitely be back maybe even as soon as tomorrow…
I have to say this donair restaurant has got to be the fastest speed of service, I’ve ever seen in a donair shop and ranks #1 with me in the city to have the best damn Donair that has ever passed my lips!

I have mentioned this to the staff like 10 times, they leave my drink and my donair in same bag, donair gets cold and my drink gets warmed!

Absolutely terrible food. Thick crust in falafel, wrap was horrible. Too much bread, not flavorful. Just overall terrible.

Donair dude is my favourite donair place and my favourite chain restaurant. I LOVE IT! Sooooo tasty! U have to try it! Also the service at the commercial Broadway donair dude NEVER MISSES! They are always so kind and welcoming. My favourite spot. Seeya there ;)

The workers are friendly, greeted me upon arrival and put my food together quickly! I suggest their Beef Pita Donair!

Today I was in a hurry so I thought I'd give a donair chain a chance for the sake of convenience. Worst donair, I have ever had, old dry chicken, bland flavors and sauces, over priced by at least 20%, I didn't even finish the donair and I was starving.enough said.

Ordered on Uber Eats. Requested no onions, there were onions. I requested jalapeños, there was maybe 1 jalapeño. Sucks because it was expensive…

I ordered a chicken rice bowl and this is what I received, I called the store they told me to send a email I also did didn’t get an any answer. Look at the picture and look at the sides if I’d slight all to one side almost half of the plate is empty. I also try other locations, there’s really some good Donair dude locations but never ever had something like this.

What an amazing staff! Talvir, Ravdeep and Aditi really went over and above to make this this a 5 star experience! Thank you Donair Dude for hiring such an incredible night staff!

I got maybe 3 or 4 strips of Donaire meat! Paid $15! Definitely will go back nor I would recommend this place.

I got a chicken pita donair and it was very good however I found that it was mainly packed with vegetables and no chicken. The ingredients were fresh and sauce was yummy, just wish they put more chicken because I didn’t get any until I was halfway through the donair.

This location is the best for donair. Food is clean and fresh. Afsaneh has always been very kind and helpful and remembers my custom order every time!

A hungry guy looks for a meal after work. I’m super happy while I know it open late until 3am. I love donair and this place make me love it more.
Plus staff is so friendly and make me feel comfortable to walk in.

Yoo. These guys work so hard here! All of the gals and guys that work there. I usually get delivery but once picked up and glad i did. Because i saw how fast and efficient the employees are, and they had good vibes and smiles. I can't stop eating the poutine. Ugh.

Extremely friendly and fast service at 11pm on a saturday night.delicious food made to order.generous portions.

Ordered 2 large poutines got 2 tiney small poutines. If this is a large then dam for $14 you scamming people.

Reliable and delicious takeout option. Always get the order right (even with modifications) and are prompt for pick up or when using a delivery app.

Not a good quality nor quantity. I ordered a chicken donair wrap and it was almost bread and some veggies plus just a touch of chicken. My last time to order food from here.

I often come at this place and we are always served by a guy named Talvir. He is really helpful and kind. He always welcomes us with a great smile. I really like the customer service provided by this person. Thanks to him and his team to make my dinner always delicious.

Staff and service absolutely excellent. Very vibrant and upbeat for 3AM in the morning! Talvir was at the front upon arrival and took care of order meticulously. Thank you Talvir, and all staff members.

Mostly i love Donair Dude. Forgot to ask for sauce on the side tonight and the food was so covered in to much sauce that it was gross. I couldn't taste anything but the sauce. If you love Donair sauce and soggy food then this is great for you. But i prefer my food not soggy. My fault for not asking for it on the side i suppose.

The chicken donair poutine was the bomb! And the donairs looks pretty tasty too.all the vegetables looked fresh. I would definitely go back and try a donair next time.

Honestly I used to love this place as it's close to home but the last night crew give the smallest portion. I usually get two meats with rice plates but they just reduce the portions even tho we put more for it. Shame considering I would got down to the Davie location for better service.

Consistently good. Mainly tried the grilled pita donair and it is very good with a nice selection of veggies and sauces. Staff are friendly and we enjoy going back each time. Quick food that makes a perfect skytrain pitstop.

Very good food but I would like to say, the jalapeño poppers are very pricey. I would be more inclined to order more more often if they weren't priced at over $2 a piece. It shouldn't cost $20 for 10 pieces of jalapeno poppers. Also, the poutine is amazing. Please don't get rid of the poutine.

Ordered beef donair tonight, the beef had literally no flavor. A slice of bacon in there would have tasted better. Won't order from them again.

You'll walk away feeling full, I can usually eat a foot long Subway sandwich and walk away hungry, not with these dudes.

This place is total money waste. I bought chicken/lamb salad bowl. The meat quantity is way too less.if you going their you will get more lettuce than anything else. If you are paying $14.69 for a salad you expect something. I will post pic soon. I made a mistake going to this joint. Review says it all

I just move in the area, I wanted to like that place soooooo bad but I am very disappointed.everything was bad from the customer service to the food. By the way, the pictures they put on their menu isnt at all what you get. 13$ for this size and a pita wrapped in plastic, no thanks!

Fast service, welcoming staff and delicious food.
It was my time ordering and i was not disappointed. Fries were nice and crispy.

The owner is disrespectful and rude to his employees. I recommend not going to this place. He needs to be taught manners, patience and basic store management skills

Great food with vegan options and is open till late. Night shift crew brought excellent and swift service despite being swamped with online orders.

One of the best and most flavorful donairs I have had. Got to find a different delivery system as Uber delivers it cold.otherwise I would say this is my favourite Donair place in Vancouver.

Great place to eat very fast and clean service just had a half chicken and half lamb Donair today and it was prepared very well by the guy over there may be his name was Sanmeet if I am not wrong and the service was very quick he barely took a minute to made it. Will visit again soon love Donair dude.

This is lovely place with delicious food and staff is really welcoming. For sure recommend the place!

Food paradise.enjoyed main and sides all times we had them.already passed other restaurants in the neighborhood with service time fabulous rating in-store or online ordering apps.
Check rates of this food lovers favourite in skip the dishes with 9.2 out of 10 score or 4.5 of 5 star in uber eats etc.
If striving no matter is 10 am or 4 am you will survive with high quality fast service.

I had the lamb donair. The food is so delicious. I'd suggest you try the donair poutine. The vegetarian gravy for the poutine has an amazing flavour.
The owner and staff are really great, the environment is clean. And the price is really good for the amount and quality of food they offer.
Certainly I will come back here again.

Quality is spot on, I love there falafel donair, its crispy and homemade. Nice hard working people working there, always kind, really nice to see.

Well this is a wonderful 5 to 10 minute walk from home! I absolutely love the donairs there, just SO delish! Lamb is yummy! Greek salad is nice too.

I frequent this place a few times a week and their food and service is second to none. They always provide courteous and friendly service along with their delicious food.
Not sure what the negative reviews are about and I believe they are uncalled for. Let see you try and deal with homeless people that are very belligerent and always harassing you for money with muttered threats projected your way.
I have offered to buy the homeless people food instead of giving them money but they refuse and become aggressive, disturbing and frightening.
Doesn't matter what time I come here, the staff are always working hard and provide awesome food and service.
If the negative people were so concerned, then they should have called the Police. You don't know what it's like dealing with aggressive people.
I do. I work in the downtown east side and its not easy.
All I have to say is keep up the good work, food and service!

I always stop there for my lunch. I have been to many donair shops, and this is one of the best in town. They are going above and beyond on food quality and considering respect and customer service as their priority. The manager is super nice.

We had dinner here tonight and I have to say we were so impressed. We had two Donair’s and a poutine. Everything was exceptionally delicious and fresh. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The restaurant was also clean and tidy. We will definitely be back.

On February 3 employees of this establishment refused to allow a bystander who had witnessed a violent crime to use their phone to call the police. I can't fathom why they would do this, if it's a corporate policy, or if it was the enployees' decision. Luckily, another bystander with a cell phone was eventually able to call the police. I have never eaten here and now I never, ever will solely on this basis.

Good, fresh and tasty food, best donair. I recommend all my friends to visit here and you will definitely love it. Quick service, employees are very polite and friendly.

Second time I’ve ordered today and well, best Donair I’ve had, and their fry’s are crispy and fresh. I can’t even get home before I have them eaten.
