Donair town

Foods lacking freshness, old meat, portions depends on who serves you even when you give 20-30% tip they don't add extra no nothing if I paying almost 20 dollars with tips included it better be a heavy dish. I just called to make a order for pick up before they close.but guess they closed early again! Starting to piss me off ill take my business else where if this keeps up.

Just served me meat from a tin not even cut from rack fresh or heated up very disappointed the father owner is very good takes pride but. I don't see the same with the 2 young lady's.

Reply to owner: this is the correct restaurant, yes this location has closed early a few times now. I also never said father and son, I said father and daughters.which is correct, no pride In preparation.my review will stay for the thousands too see. I tip every time and get less and less. Lolol

The food is absolutely amazing in this location. The service is great and the donators are stuffed to the max amount. FLAVOR was amazing you must visit. 5/5!

I ordered doordash from them today and I liked the chicken platter:)
The rice was very undercooked though, probably just a one-time mistake
What I love more is the absolute sass in the owner's responses to some of these people complaining about pineapples and cucumbers

My son ordered a falafel plate with fries and the lady gave us rice. I came back and told her of the mistake. She said it was too late as the rice already had the sauce and refused to take it back and correct her mistake. I told her my son will not eat the rice and she said that i could buy a side of fries if i wanted. She wants me to pay for her error? She was super rude to top that off. This was one of the worst service I've ever experienced

To respond to the super rude owners response: we DID ask for fries. I now understand why your workers have a bad attitude; they have a disrespectful owner.

As some other have mentioned already, the meat's flavour is overpowered by the sauces- but! The sauces taste great combined, leaving a pleasant aftertaste in your mouth.

I'd recommend the lamb and chicken mix

They have two sizes for their food- regular (medium) and super (large)

I got their super lamb and chicken mix donair wrap, which had two pitas and 80% more meat than normal.

The two ladies there are super nice, offering suggestions and telling you what you shouldn't get. (Very rare nowadays)

The only reason I took off was a star was because I found the interior rather dark, which made it hard for me to see.

9/10, will come again! Definitely worth a try

Its ok. Last time I was there, Tabbouleh tasted like soap. I stopped going when I noticed the meat was pink in the middle.

Continually getting worse. Stopped giving sauce on delivery fries a while back, and my most recent donair was overcooked chicken, with no sauce.it was nearly inedible - i threw over half of it in the garbage because i couldn’t stomach it

Not a good Donair at all, bland and overly sauced, not authentic to what you get in the Middle East. There are better options around

While the girls were super polite and nice, the food didn't have the value and didn't hit home. Super (large) plate was not that large. For nearly $20 I was expecting better taste and value.

This place has been going downhill for a few years now and today it got pretty bad. They used to be about good quality and service and definitely did not get either of those today. The ingredients were not fresh and the meat was dry and overcooked.

Check your change and make sure you get what you payed for. They've shorted my take out orders a few times. Food's not bad, just rampant incompetence behind the counter!

The lamb donair and donair sauces are very tasty.

I appreciate that the lamb meat was cut straight off the spit instead of taken from a warmer. Also, the server transferred the contents into a fresh pita when the first pita split while preparing the donair.

Don't try to sit at the window bar as the stools are far too short for it.

Don’t spend ur money, I ordered through skip, beyond disappointed the chicken was raw and there portions were extremely small not as advertised

Tbh this place is really hit and miss. Typical of a donair place. It really depends on the freshness of the meat. I have gone here a couple times. Once was great, other time not so much.

Ordered the greek donair no feta or olives in the donair, ordered 4 falafels they were never packed and delivered. Called the store spoke to the lady who answered the phone to advise and she was busy ignoring me on the phone and taking orders from others and then continued to hang up on me 4 times instead of apologizing and fixing the order she kept saying its not my fault. Im sorry whos fault is it that my donair has missing ingredients? Is it my fault? And missing items in my order. Very disappointed

Best Donair I've ever had. I got the super combo mix and it was very delicious. The portion was huge!

After spending hours at the hospital, I was starving and needed to eat something. I wanted to try this place out and so we went. They were actually closed but they still served us. Very kind! They could have easily said no.

The Donair was so delicious! We'll be coming here more often.

The quality and portion was not more than two star rate. The chicken pieces burn out.

Son and I went here for dinner not expecting too much as we haven't had a real decent Donair/Shawarma on the island so we were pleasantly surprised by the great food served here. We had a goto spot where we lived in Ontario and haven't found many places that could duplicate the taste and flavor of that particular place. My son had the rice box and I had the plate/platter, forget what it's called and some drinks. Very good food, best I've had in a long time, thank you. Too bad you're not on the island, if I am back out this way on the mainland again, I will definitely stop by.

I've been going to this place every week or two for a couple of months and it's really good, prices are good I really like the lamb Donaire and lamb plate, nice people.

I bought 4 sandwiches, two meat and two chicken, unfortunately they were filled with lettuce only with some meat no test for sure, is that fair.even 0 start two mach for you guys never go this restaurant

Very little portion. The box was not even filled completely. For the amount you charge at least put enough food on it.

First the owner puts some leftover pieces of chicken with the fresh one and when he puts it, it’s not enough for the amount of rice. Next I ask him if he could charge me some more and put some chicken on the side, the guy denies and asks me to bring my package back and does it. Rude owner, dry chicken, not enough for the amount, waste of money. Go try Zaaki’s donair if you want some real good donair and customer service.

Literally, the best donair in all of new westminster. Friendly staff and quality is up to par. I also really enjoy their French fries

I'm not sure if the management changed, or they just changed their portion sizes, but my last visit was pretty disappointing. Ordering the "supersize" option usually adds a decent amount of meat, but that wasn't the case. It looked like I got what would've been a regular order. I'd been coming here since they opened and their supersize option always left me stuffed. It was good while it lasted - guess I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Maybe I am crazy but 5/5 from me and my family for the best donair sauce, best donair meat, best man and woman who work here.walked in at 7: 57 last night and they stayed late making food for my family with a big smile happy to have me. Had and food issue with Uber and this location. The owner made it right, after I posted a bad review about them. Now I'm happy this owner helped me get my refund by Uber since they made the issue. So now I'm being invited by the owner to try it out my self I the store and not a home.

Great service and food! Best Donair shop in the area, I highly recommended for the Sapperton area

Donair platter was super dry and the owner was using old scrapings of meat from the bottom of the container and waited over 15 minutes for them to assemble two platters. While watching him to do that I asked if there's fresh product, the owner became extremely rude and told me to go to another donair shop. I got 2 platters for $30 which ended up going to waste as it was disgusting. Waste of money, bad quality and bad service. Would not recommend going here.

These guys are awesome. We go here way too much (any time we don't want to cook), and the donair is always fresh and delicious. Try the falafel too - they make it to order and it's fantastic.

Thank you for your review, Donair Town is a family run business we work really hard to make sure our customers are happy. I have to mention that our kitchen our veggies and everything else in the store is always fresh and clean it's almost 2 years that were up and running and our health inspection reports have always been under 3 points which is almost perfect so please I would appreciate it if you wouldn't make a judgement based on the tables that are being used in the customer area. I also dont understand why it's wrong that the two guys were having a good time. Like I said we all work really hard so if we laugh and make jokes its because we want to be in a good mood. Everytime I've gone to any restaurant I expect to see people that are in a good mood because u dont see that anymore. 8out of 10 places have horrible customer service which is really upsetting, because when I go somewhere whether it's a restaurant or a grocery store I really appreciate good customer service. So unless there was a problem with your food or someone disrespected you I dont see why you would be making a statement like that about our kitchen.

I was skeptical about trying another donair outside of Vancouver due to a poor experience at another place in Coquitlam. I decided to try another place being this place. I talked to one of the owners which was a nice lady who’s name I can’t remember, sorry! She was friendly and very passionate about the food they serve. She was quick to offer suggestions based on what I like and allowed me to try a small piece of lamb which was delicious. I got a mixed donair with chicken and lamb and it was amazing. Lots of toppings available and tasty sauces. I will be going back for sure!

Great donair but the service is slower than usual. Just need a little patient, they are pretty new in the business.

Really great donairs at a good price. Place is cozy and clean with good parking. Super size mixed donair is rhe way to go:)

The staff is great the food is great and the restaurant is an awesome hidden gem on Columbia street in New Westminster. Located at 485 east Columbia I had to search for it but well worth the effort. Totally Keto and Paleo friendly which was why i went there and im glad i did

Tried out donair town because of the positive reviews. Place is bright and clean. Theres salad and meat options for the donair and platters. Also multiple sauce sauces. The hummus was probably my favorite. Pita bread was overtly hard. The chicken could have been more tender and more flavoured. Salad was good and they put alot of olives.

Amazing customer service. Their dishes are so good. I can't wait to come back for more. It's better than any donairs I have had.

Fresh ingredients and friendly owner. Store is a bit humid and without air conditioning. Better to do takeaway than eat in-store.

All was good. I ordered chicken platter no salad no nothing. Just chicken and rice (i know my mom told me to eat mt veggies) chicken was flavourful and perfectly charred. Rice was great. All the sauces just like any other sauces out there.no complaints. Gentleman that served me was very pleasant and polite. Will be back! Cheers

Great service and food! Some of the best chicken shawarma in the area, I highly recommend it. Along with great food is great customer service. Prices are pretty good as well. Keep up the great work!
