Donair Town

Today, I ordered the falafel plate from Donair Town via DoorDash. Regrettably, the experience was less than satisfactory. As seen in the attached picture, the food arrived with subpar packaging, resulting in everything being mashed together.

Furthermore, the falafel, typically a standout on their menu, fell short of expectations. The flavors lacked the anticipated vibrancy, contributing to an underwhelming dining experience. Given these issues, I’ve decided not to order from Donair Town again. I hope they consider refining both their packaging and the flavor profile of their dishes in the future.

I’m not sure why there are lots of bad reviews. I love this place! I got a lamb super donair, it was super delicious and well worth the buck. I moved around here recently and I can see myself getting a donair often if I want to treat myself!

I love the donairs here, but unfortunetly they dont make them as big as they used to.i got a super beef donair the other day and it was pretty small and didnt have that much beef inside.please bring back the old sizes when you are charging 11$+ for a donair.

Asain Operation Very unfriendly service. Ordered 2 chicken donairs. The pita was a little stale and not heated. Chicken tasted like it was made 2 days ago. Fillings and sauce absolutely terrible. Asked for spicy, zero spice. Would definitely not recommend.

Donair Town exceeded my expectations with their Combo special. The affordable price and incredible taste make it a must-try for donair enthusiasts.

Ate at Donair Town on Austin Ave. The beef donair was awesome. Tasty meat nice location. Gonna go back for sure!

The people working there were super friendly and nice, but the food was not great unfortunately. They use plain white rice, and the seasoning on the meat didn't taste like typical donair seasoning. Combined with the sauce, my donair platter tasted more like a Midwest chicken and rice casserole. Salad dressing was just vinegar, and there was no feta or olives, and the hummus was quite thin. I don't think I'll be coming back here.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Donair! The cuisine was delectable, and the service exceeded expectations. I'll definitely be returning soon!

Talk about a terrible experience! It feels like I wasted both my money and time! Do they even conduct food and service inspections in Coquitlam? The chicken meat seemed like it was a few weeks old! The server was behaving as if she hasn't been paid since January; she couldn't even listen and reply properly. I'm sure I'll be having nightmares for the rest of August! Dear God, please help!

Random Japanese rice with our platter. Humus had a bizarre texture and was bland. Told my wife before going there ‘I’ve never had a bad donair before’ but I can no longer say that. They truly don’t care about the food they serve and appear to be trying to sell the cheapest thing they can get away with. Very disappointing, will not be back.

I ordered a platter expecting at least a meal portion. For $13 it was so little, rather be a snack portion. Food is average. Worst portion I’ve ever got for donair. Definitely not coming back because it’s not worthy for the money.

Hours of operation were not correct, drove there before their 9pm close and they were already closed down and cleaning

There was a hair in our food. We made our order with no onions, we had to open it up to remove the onions which then all fell apart. In the process we found a little black hair. Gross. Will never ever order from here again, 40$ for a messed up order and a hair.
