Donair Town

Was honoured to meet the founder of Donair town. He started 50 years ago and has led the company to prosper opening 24 locations. And here he was working the front lines in Port Moody. Such a humble fellow.

Love this place, it's an outdated and dirty restaurant with an old angry man that serves you but the place has so much character and a unique experience. But the food is amazing! It's really good donair.

Jumbo beef donair. As the name implies, it was big. Got a little messy but I didn’t mind. The beef was cooked well and the sauce made the difference.

I got the chicken plate today and the chicken pieces were all so burnt, I had to throw away half of it. To cover all the burnt chicken they put a lot of sauce on top. Didn't enjoy my meal unfortunately

Have dropped in multiple times. The food is very good. Nothing fancy but the portions are generous - you've been warned - and tasty. The proprietor is also a very friendly individual. I recommend this place.

Fresh ingredients and plenty of juicy filling. Friendly service with some good World Cup chat. Delighted to have stumbled upon this place. I’ll be back!
