Top shop for all your grocery needs. Great customer service… in particular Violet, the cashier, is the best in the biz. If there was a cashier hall of fame, she’d be in it.

The inflation at this store is getting out of control. Used to be my favourite local grocery store, but now its more expensive than other well-known expensive/high end grocery stores in town. Examples: the cereal I used to get used to be $7.95/bag, now $11/bag; the Beyond Breakfast Sausage used to be $6.95 last year and is now $9 (but I see it elsewhere in town consistently for only $7.45, even at other fancy/locally owned stores) ; Soy milk used to be $4 now $7 but the same brand is still $4.75 down the street at another store. They've been selling expired/stale products too, it will be "on sale" for like only 50 cents off (still more expensive than the same fresh product at another locally owned store) and then you''ll check the best before/expiration dates and it's past. Really disappointed to see this store change like this: (The produce is always fresh & they have a good selection, but due to the prices going up needlessly, I've started shopping elsewhere in the neighbourhood whenever I can.

The crowds get thick around 5-6pm. The staff is amazing, but the other customers are usually rude af. Overall, nice products (though a bit spendy) and a great selection of fresh produce and cupboard necessities.

The women who runs the hot food counter is extremely rude and over charges you watch your purchases.

Purchased the item in the photo on July 24th, opened the cardboard package immediately prior to cooking them on July 25th to find the item as shown in the photo. Emailed Donald's customer service that same evening and as of August 1st have yet to get any response from Donald's. Be warned that Donald's sells products well beyond their best before date, check your packages carefully when shopping.

Love Donald and love Donald's. I always kinda feel like I'm in the employees way but they can't help it and everyone who works there is so nice. But not fake nice.

It’s always crowded because it’s a great local place for this community… since moving away I travel time to time all the way across town to come here.

Not bad, more rice than the 2 toppings.
Lots of garlic very little salt if any at all.
Kens kitchen in Chinatown less $ more items but parking can be a issue.
Thumbs up for Donalds takeout.

The best place to get cheap produce. Is second stalk, so you have to buy what you can use in the next few days in most cases. Sometimes it just a bruise. It's basically what Safeway didn't want. 3 bags full for $20. Can't beat the price. Don't buy milk or cheese etc.as those are all cheaper at Safeway on Broadway and Commercial.

My visit to Donald's market today was awesome! I mentioned it was my birthday and this sweet lady behind the counter sung happy birthday to me and it just brought me to tears. I ordered a plain rice two items and sweet and sour soup, all of which was like amazing thank you very much the best to go food ever!

Great selection of local products that cater to our vegetarian and meat eating family. Very diverse pop inventory including iron bru! Lots of good olive oils. Produce options are good too

Hands down, it has the best deals on fruits & vegetables. Even better than no frills, Walmart, & superstore. Worth a visit

Beware of moldy food here, bought some raspberry yesterday and when I opened it today it was all moldy. Just beware shopping here!

We love this store. They always stock local seasonal fruits and vegetables at excellent prices. None of the big box grocers can touch them. Their focus is on local and healthy products. Even their junk food items are healthy! Well, healthy for junk food that is

You can find everything there. Everything is organized properly and also organic produces are available. It's great that they have local bakeries breads.prices are very reasonable and competitive. It's our go to for everyday grocery shopping

A very good market that is always bustling and the staff are very social so it is a generally better shopping experience here than the ho-hum of the big players.added bonus is no "cold hearted" self checkouts as more big stores phase out jobs like this that many of us so appreciate!

Hands down this is my favorite grocery store in Vancouver! Even after moving out of the area I still make trips to go back. I love how affordable the produce is and that the store does what it can to eliminate food waste by discounting produce nearing the end of its life cycle. Love love LOVE Donald’s. Would give it more stars if I could!
