I went for my first ever curly cut and the results were great! Stephanie made sure the cut was perfect for me, from asking great questions to making sure it was maintainable for me at home. Great experience and will for sure be my new regular salon!

After a free consultation a few weeks ago with Stephenie, the day of my appointment finally arrived. I was nervous and excited as it had been years since updating my color and style. Also, since I was a first time client at Doria, there was an element of risk working with someone new. I knew Stephenie and I were on the same page during the consult and I developed confidence in her expertise and easy willingness and patience to hear my styling needs. The actual appointment was better than expected. Stephanie created the effect I was looking for and I have gotten great feedback from friends and family. Looking forward to working with her again!

My first meeting with Doria salon was more than perfect. My hair was in a very bad condition, years of bleaching had destroyed my hair. During the consultation, I explained that I would like to cut my hair short and return to my natural color. Melanie did a perfect job with my hair. Had the best haircut experience today! Not only did Hiba give me the perfect haircut, but also lots of great advice on how to naturally style my hair and my new curtain bangs:) during consultation she really made sure we were getting the look I wanted whilst also adding her recommendations based on my hair type and face shape which was really great! (Btw- definitely go with her recommendations she knows what she’s doing!) my hair is wavy/curly and really thick - she was really knowledgeable about how to cut it without adding extra unwanted volume to my hair. I highly recommend going to Hiba!

She also let me know to come in before my wedding next year to get the perfect hair length/ cut for the hairstyles I want to do during my wedding - which was super kind of her!

Before haircut experience: - I booked an appointment well in advance with Mariah and they canceled it at the very last minute. The same thing happened when I booked an appointment with Mariah last year and was given the same excuse. I had to get a haircut in the same week and only stylist that was available for curly hair was Sher. When I booked the appointment it was clearly mentioned that if clients cancel the appointment within 24 hrs client has to pay a cancellation charge of $25. However, in both appointments my schedule was jam packed and they gave me a day’s notice to inform me that my appointment is cancelled. This shows how inconsiderate the management is.
Experience: - I was happy with the service and the haircut. Sher seemed experienced and knowledgeable.
After haircut experience: - I am writing this review after 23 days and I have curly hair. I have washed my hair more than 4 times and the styling product that Sher used has not come out of my hair and it’s damaging my quality of hair and scalp. At first I thought it’s gonna come out in the second wash and after that but it hasn’t. I finally had to go and get a sulphate shampoo to get the product out and it hasn’t come out completely. When I called them asking what was the product that was used I was told she doesn’t remember it. I was expecting at least a genuine apology and instead I was told to scrub your hair nicely when washing my hair. I have been washing my hair for past 30 years and to management I have to say “I know how to wash my hair” please advise your stylist to know what products they’re using on clients. I will never be going back to Doria solan for any services and I would recommend people trying to avail their service be mindful of these facts

I had a lovely experience here with a junior stylist named Magda. She was welcoming right from the get-go, and made the entire experience incredibly pleasant! Magda was professional, polite, funny, and devoted extra attention to the fine details. It was a longer than usual haircut, however I loved every minute of it because I knew a stellar job was being done! 10/10 would recommend this lovely lady, she's a sweetheart and I love my new haircut!:)

BEST FACIAL EVER! I had booked a facial to deal with how terrible my skin had been from wearing masks throughout the pandemic. Immediately after my facial my skin was glowing and redness had noticeably gone down! Before my facial I was asked questions about my skin concerns, the products I use and give recommendations of how to better manage my skin! The staff is all so kind, the space is beautiful, clean and relaxing! 10/10 recommend booking facials & all services!

My hairstylist was Hiba and I had the most wonderful experience! I got a balayage, cut and style and absolutely love it. Would highly recommend Hiba for any hair colouring. I went in to see Cindy for waxing services, AMAZING. I felt at ease, and she was very professional.

Got a perm done with Sher. I had been thinking about it for 2 years and consulted some other stylists, but I really wanted to make sure I found the right salon to do it and after a tonne of research online I went to Doria Salon Spa. I had an excellent consultation with Sher and trusted her right away. She was thorough and knowledgeable and on the day explained to me everything she was doing. We did a piggy back spiral, which is a bit complicated, so I'm so happy I went to an expert. It turned out so beautiful. Sher also answered some of my questions around colored hair and perms which warrants a conversation if that's something you are unclear on. I also got my lashes done the same day because this place really is a Spa too - great atmosphere, lots of space, a range of services and nice people! I would note that I didn't realize the lash tint was just the top lashes, I didn’t think to ask, but assumed it was both. Something to keep in mind.
If you need some self care (who dosen't after the last couple years? !) I would definitely recommend Doria. Book a bunch of services, bring a snack (I forgot), and spend the day. I will definitely be back!

This salon is very conveniently located on 64th and 152nd street intersection in a plaza. Enough parking

The space of the salon is big and there is everything under one roof like Skin care, hair services, nail salon and a spa massage. Its very clean and aesthetically pleasing.
My hair stylist sher took her time on my consultation appointment and made sure that I understand the whole process. She was even sweet to squeeze me in her schedule the very next day for early morning appointment.
Had great experience with the whole perm treatment. The process was long but the conversation with sher, made it go by quickly. Amazing result and brilliant service. We also Bought gold plated chain n locket from them which is so beautiful. You can also get a professional nail job with their nail technician.

Really had a great experience with hair color, curls and skin rejuvenation. Excellent care and services.

My hair was done by Hiba. She is very nice and very professional. She took her time to explain everything to me including the products. She also listened to what I wanted for my hair and did an amazing job. Be prepared to spend as price isn’t cheap. But you do get an excellent end result. I loved it.

Hiba was so detailed in asking me what I liked, what I wanted.but the best part about her approach was that she genuinely and honestly recommended a colour and style based on my skin tone and personality. If you’re a person with curly or textured hair, i would stay away from this salon.
They recommended me to Mariah for a cut and I booked an appointment with her. The day before the appointment at like 3 PM they called me and said that the stylist had cancelled the appointment which felt unprofessional. I was obviously super upset as I had booked this appointment maany weeks in advance and it was my birthday a few days later. They couldn’t schedule me in for the same week so i didnt end up rescheduling.
A few months later I wanted to get my hair just coloured but not cut, so I called in and once again was scheduled for a consultation with Mariah. When I showed up to that consultation Sher took my consult. I wasn’t told it was going to be someone else prior to the appointment. She wasn’t a curl specialist but she was a senior stylist so i thought it would be okay.i wanted to take my hair blonder and she said that she could definitely do it. When I arrived at the appointment with my natural hair she decided to change what we had talked about and not use bleach on my hair because she thought it looked light enough already. She just used colour and I walked out of the salon with my hair completely dark brown. They said they would only charge for product and it still somehow managed to be $340.place is overpriced as hell. They offered to fix it for free but i refused because i just didnt trust them anymore.imagine going to a blonde appt and ending up with dark brown.i wasnt going to go back.the moral of the story is they dont take curly hair seriously there and have overconfident stylists working there that are willing to take on clients even though they clearly have no experience with that hair type - the way my hair looks in the photo is the way she styled it so its clear she didnt know what she was doing.im not even angry im honestly just really really sad that this happened.every hair dresser ive talked to since has been shocked when i tell them this story and has no clue how she thought that what she did would work.

I got a refund of $200 but it isnt much considering its costing me $400 to fix it.

I have been going to doria hair Salon for years but recently my last few times there I have had my hair done by hiba. She is amazing with hair colour and an expert in balayage. She takes her time with your hair and listens to what you want also giving you professional advice to help you decide. Thank you hiba for your expertise I love my hair

Maryam is the KEY at Doria salon.
First of all, shampoo was a mini scalp massage which is absolutely pampering. Then the toner was on point as well she took her time to figure out what is the best for my hair as it's damaged. This review is not about Salon services! Rather the unprofessional management team. I was hired here In the beginning of 2014 after completing my orientation I found out I was pregnant and in a meeting I told the manager that I had just found out I was pregnant and wanted to be honest with her. She then told me that they couldn't keep me on and wished me the best. So not only did they illegally let me go but they also never paid me for the hours I worked during orientation literally scrubbing their bathroom clean. I'm only mentioning this now as back then I wasn't brave enough to bring this up and hope they're not doing this to others.

I am incredibly disappointed with my experience here. I came in looking to simply cool down the blonde warm tones in my balayage and get them brown. Mahina seemed like she had me completely figured out and even suggested adding in some more 'highlights' to the ends of my hair. This turned into her completely bleaching my ends, making me lose the balayage look I had and the highlights. Additionally, the colour was completely choppy- greys, oranges, browns, warm and cool tones. It was a disaster! I did call and I sincerely appreciate them redoing the job for free, but the damage had been done from my first visit. Susan did her best to revive my hair, but it is now a black to red-toned brown ombre instead of the original ashy brown barely there balayage I wanted. While they were kind and helpful, my hair is completely the opposite than what I wanted and I am not prepared to spend another 200 dollars to be this unhappy again. I am incredibly disappointed. Honestly wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

The staff are professional and friendly. The spa itself is also very clean and welcoming. Suman is amazing and incredibly knowledgeable. Hands down the best facials I have ever had. I have very problematic skin (eczema, rosacea, urticaria, sensitivity, etc.) and Suman is the first to actually make a difference in my skin. You got to trust Suman and the process! I was recommended to see her by a friend and I would highly recommend anyone to see Suman as well. I always look forward to coming back!

I had heard a lot of great things about this salon, and 2 friends of mine go there so I wanted to give it a shot. I was disappointed immediately, by not being greeted by one single employee or receptionist for nearly 15 min (I was on time). Many staff members walked right past me. It may have been an off day, but truly wasn’t the best start for a new client.

My hair cut was ok, yet I didn’t really get what I thought I asked for. It’s uncomfortable to speak up at the time, and I also didn’t see my full results until i was home.

Very relaxing and clean, I went for a facial resurfacing, it has to be done 3 time and my skin is soft and smooth, the pores are tighten and my complexion is glowing! The esthetician is such a good and warm person! I love to go there and I already book for the Mani-Pedi-Facial December special.

I went to Doria SPA for a facial, manicure, and pedicure. The staff was immediately super friendly and welcoming. Right when you walk in their is signs saying masks must be worn and please sanitize. The salon was very clean. Throughout my experience the staff was friendly and welcoming. My facial was incredible and I felt very relaxed, and taken care of. My skin looked and felt 10x better. Both my pedicure and manicures were done and I didn’t feel like the staff rushed. They took their time and made conversation. All in all I left very relaxed and taken care of. 1000% would recommend going here!

The COVID-19 has kept me home as I have been reluctant to go out for fear of getting infected and passing it onto my husband of almost 50 years. An appointment was booked with Sher. When I arrived, I called to announce my arrival. As I was a bit early, I waited in my car until they called me when Sher was ready for me. I was so very pleased with their health concerns and protocol set up. There was a hand sanitizier at the front door to clean your hands. Sher greeted me wearing a face shield.

Their excellent pampering was not put aside because of "the virus" as I was pampered with a wonderful massage while being shampooed. Sher then sanitized the area after my shampoo. She gave me a fabulous new cut - which was most welcome after, like everyone, waiting for the hair salons to open. Sher has a warm and friendly way about her and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her, feeling quite comfortable after having concerns about venturing out.

I highly recommend Doria. They know how to pamper and during this scary time, have put in the necessary protocol to ensure our safety. And thank you, thank you to Sher for giving me back my sass! Love my new do!

I visited Doria salon for a demalogica facial + massage, shellac manicure and pedicure. The entire 2+ hour experience was very pleasant, professional, and relaxing. The esthetician ensured that I was comfortable and satisfied with the service at each step of the process. In addition, the facility is very clean, diligently sanitized between each use, and overall, incredibly well maintained. Rachel did a fantastic job! This was my first time dying my hair, so I wasn't sure what to expect but the entire experience was lovely! The salon itself is clean, spacious and extremely relaxing, so much so that I dozed off a couple of time (woops). Luisa is an amazing hair dresser, she has done my hair for years and I have always been please with the end result whether it's colour or cut. I highly recommend Luisa or if you have curly hair I highly recommend Gillian she does Deva curl and she also does amazing at her job.

I just had my hair cut by Megan and I am very happy with the result. I have combination curly hair, so it is not evenly curly throughout. Some areas are more straight and wavy, while other parts will spiral, and it’s always been my challenge to find a hairdresser that could help me achieve the more even curl I desire. Megan’s cut definitely did that. I felt she listened attentively to my concerns and she even showed me how much she was going to cut, making sure I was ok with the length. Throughout my appointment she made me feel relaxed and confident in her hands. I definitely recommend this talented Stylist to you!

I have been going to Doria for several years. The salon is clean and well designed. The staff are very friendly and professional.

I drive in from Ridge to see the Queen of Nails. Sarah is an absolute pleasure to be around - my appointment time flies by! The work she does is absolutely incredible and I look forward to the next time I get to come to the salon as soon as I leave. The best!

I had an excellent initial experience with Nicole (who is no longer there). Nicole has since left the salon, disappointed by that.

I has seen someone else at Doria for several months and it was ok, BUT prices (that were already high) went up a couple time.

The last straw for me was when a different toner than usual was used on my hair, it went much darker than I expected and then bleach was applied to lighten it. I admit that my hair is damaged and hard to colour. The issue - the dealbreaker- was the application of bleach while I was in the sink without any discussion with me about the too dark toner or the intention to use bleach. I would have said no and lived with the too dark toner until it faded.

This is the only salon I’ve EVER gone to where I know my curly hair is in safe hands. My hair has always had a mind of its own but they knew exactly how to handle it. The nicest haircut & color I have ever had! I was very well taken care of by Accalia & Maddie. I highly recommend!
