Douglas Park Community Centre

There are a lot of different playgrounds for kids and the community center staff are friendly.

Huge park lots of space. Love coming here with my dog in the mornings there is not a lot of people around:)

Friday summer afternoons are amazing here. Kids have the playground and many families just relaxing having picnics.

Staff are lovely, location is great, fields are beautiful, and a good variety of activities for a smaller centre

They have a nice and big playground with a Zipline. The park has lots of shade and a wading pool. I think parking was kind tight though but still a good place to bring kids to.

A central hub to the community. A small building with a huge variety of programs, a fantastic playground, and large sports fields

The summer camps are my daughter’s favourites out of all the camps we’ve done (and we’ve done lots!) they have access to one of the best parks/playground, they have amazing camp leaders and they spend most day being outside and playing!

One of the best playgrounds in the area. A big one made of wood with very little plastic ot metal and bark mulch ground covering instead of the ubiquitous rubber. Very popular, so can sometimes get a bit full

Always a fond visit down memory lane visiting Douglas Park. It's changed a bit since I was a kid growing up 20 meters away but it still has one of the better play grounds in town and filo d with kids and joy.

Great community Center. The park has a well maintained mulch running track that is 940 metres per lap. There are also outdoor workout benches and bars on the North East corner of the park as well as a large playground in the the centre of the park.

Douglas park is one of my favourites! It's my local park other than Queen Elizabeth! I enjoy walking around the whole park in circles in the evening and playing frisbee. The park gets lots of sun coverage too so it's an awesome place to chill. The toilets always seem to be closed in the evening.

Great playground for the younger kids and a big spacious grassy field for the rest of us to toss the ball and run around. The community centre is right there in case someone has to go to the bathroom.

What a gem of a park! Amazing play structures; large, diverse, and appropriate for toddlers and big kids. Fields near by for recreational activities and a small cement basketball court adjacent to the playground. Neighbourhood is friendly and clean. What more can you ask for!

Great park.badly managed during pandemic.they close the washrooms at 6pm without notice however park is "open" until 10pm.makes no sense even without a pandemic!

Fantastic playground for kids of all ages! It's a borderline theme park, as far as playground designs go. Huge, spacious area that is well cared for. Washrooms are less than 20m away from the playground. One of the best playgrounds for kids I've ever seen. However, if you have young toddlers, I would avoid on weekends due to soccer games and sheer volume of kids that get rambunctious here.

A bit on the older side of things, but the park is phenomenal for a good run, soccer match, just chill and watch Canada geese.etc.

I live 2 blocks away and I'm at the park nearly daily. I absolutely love the weeping willows but the whole place is a gem and heart of a neighborhood.

Very good place for sports during summer. I have my best memories on this ground

Every summer i play cricket at this ground and its always amazing to play and take our families along there, They have lot of facilities for kids as well

Best people you can find around here as everyone adjust according to the sports baseball, cricket soccer all can be played at same time

This community centre is smaller than others but has excellent (or better) service than others. People are incredibly friendly This was my first time going to this centre for daughters ballet and am happy to sign up for other programs as well. I saw a huge playground and during the summer they have a wading pool! Bonus! I can't wait for summer!

The community centre is a meeting place. Right now the park looks beautiful with the surrounding trees in full fall colour.

Came here to check out the playground. Looked well thought out and there was plenty for our guy to do. Stuff for small kids and plenty for the older ones. Bring a change of clothes since there is sand and water at this one. Worth coming to. We will be back. Probably several times. Didn't have a chance to check out the programs offered, just really liked the playground. Will try our the water play area next time.

Havent been in the community centre, but the surrounding park is the best part. Open hanging bars and parallel bars make for great calisenthics workouts!

Top playground in the city as far as I know. Lots of fun stuff for kids to do. No weird stuff like just logs or those blue shapes hanging by ropes.

This is a beautiful public park nestled among giant trees. The equipment is perfect for kids of all ages and there is a lot of shade to enjoy the afternoon. The washrooms are great and the murals stunning. Such a great surprise!

The park is amazing, there's lots of grass, a great playground for kids, and they have events outside every Thursday in summer.

Top notch kids park! My daughter is 2 and 1/2 and loves this place. Lots of room to grow here, too. One side has a fence which is nice to help contain the madness. Her favourite things here are a ground-level trampoline and a special swing that allows mom/dad/care-giver to sit facing their child and swing together.

What a nice wooden playground! Sandbox and trampoline were fun too. Washrooms inside and outside, free parking. Didn't go inside the community center but it was clean and bright when I looked inside.

The newly re-done playground for kids includes lots of great features and children love to go there.

A nice park for games, picnics, etc. One side has a playground (right by the community center), and the rest is a big open field. There are benches, trees, and public washrooms at the community center (entrance is on the south side, enter from outside of the center). You can also lock your bike up at the community center. The park seems really well maintained:)

My wife just won a softball Tournament here. The fields were good. Nice and green. There's a public washroom.

Ca vaut presque le voyage. Equipement beau et securitaire, cadre magnifique, on voit même les montagnes.

Full of underage drunk girls on Friday nights but other than that it's good park. Lots of memories.

Perfect place to take the kiddos in Vancouver. Definitely worth heading down to if you are looking for a park

Excellent park with a basketball court, an open green field that is very well taken care of with lots of space for anything you can think of when it comes to grass activities. Great place to take kids, dogs etc.

Fun kids play area with plenty of free street parking. Rent community centre for events or birthday parties. Well maintained for its age. Large park area for families to run around or kick soccer ball or throw Ultimate disc.

Many new toys in this playground and many varieties than most other parks. Your kid will enjoy the fun here.

Woah! What an awesome upgrade for the park! There are so many different structures for children of all ages and abilities - zip line, in-ground mini trampoline, a water spout that overflows into a giant sandbox (watch out for cat poop!), loads of slides and various types of climbing apparatuses that will keep even older children challenged and engaged. There's also plentiful seating for adults, and it's adjacent to a 2 hoop basketball court.
Top it all off with bathrooms and a water fountain on-site, and this is amazing park!
I should give this 1 star so it doesn't get even more busy!

Fantastic large park with lots of greenspace and an amazing new playground. Well designed with a variety of equipment, a nice focus on natural materials and a trampoline embedded in the ground. Great work by whoever worked to make this place a reality. Thanks for making this a great oasis for young families.
