Dover Bay Secondary School

School as always. Better than my own country though so I can’t say anything bad about it

Dover bay lost my education file before I even started attending the school. They neglected to follow my IEP (individual education plan) from the start of my high school experience to nearly the end (second semester of 11th grade). I struggled very much and the extra stress of being made to work in an unhealthy, unhelpful work environment had very negative affects on my physical and mental health. When they finally "found out" about my registered disability they told me I should not be upset or mad at them or the school and offered no support other than shuffling me into outreach. Though there are many very nice staff members, a lot of them are unfit to be working with children and young adults. Dover bay never takes accountability for any of the discrimination and harassment they let go on in that building.if your child tends to struggle at all. DO NOT SEND THEM TO THIS SCHOOL.

Okay school dont even go there to many special kids and vapes they need an update with the school and its just not a good school over all i only gave it a good ratting because i have to give it a one jut to comment

This school needs a major overhaul with their staff! As a parent I have been treated with nothing but disrespect. The principal and vice principals all need to go! They have been nothing but an issue. They don’t care about anyone’s mental health. They are the biggest bullies I’ve ever experienced!

DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL! If I could give a 0 rating I would. They don’t deserve the 1* I have them!
