The reception, hygenists, and Dentist were all incredible. Very fast, easy, painless extraction. They explained my options and were up front about costs, as I’m uninsured. They were compassionate and kind, and they seem like a happy team who have a good work dynamic, nice to see coworkers all smiling with each other. I only started coming to this dental clinic a year ago. At first, I was apprehensive, as with going to any new dentist.
The receptionists, Stephanie and Rachel, are super nice and willing to answer questions to the best of their ability.
Preety is a very experienced and caring hygienist, I would totally recommend her to anyone.
I started my invisalign journey with Dr Mahara. He had to take out a bridge, which I was extremely nervous about as the two adjacent teeth could get damaged in the process.
He did an amazing job, set me up with my invisalign trays, and now I am on my way to a better smile, and hoping that my TMJ disorder symptoms will lesson over time.
Also, a big shout out to Stephanie, who went over and beyond to meet me near my workplace when my first set of Invisalign trays were forgotten at their office.

From the moment you walk through the door you are greeted by people who show that they care. Dr Syed makes you feel like you are a part of his family, and the work that he does is too notch. If you are anxious about seeing a dentist, I recommend you come to this clinic, your worries will be laid to rest!

Best dental team in Nanaimo… From the very pleasant and efficient Rachel booking our appointments to all the ladies and Dr Masgara, everyone was highly professional, quick and empathetic. Dr Inam Syed himself is dynamic dentist who is vigilant and audacious simultaneously. It was a wonderful experience and we wish him and his team the very best.

I went to them in emergency without having an appointment though it was not right by my side but they still accommodate me, Dr Inam is the guy knows how to make comfortable his patient and all the staff are really lovely and helpful, thanks for all the help.

Starting from the moment you enter this office, it’s a wonderful experience. The beautiful ladies working front desk are polite, very helpful, and professional. Dr Inam’s assistant’s absolutely are wonderful. The girls are highly intelligent, well mannered, soft spoken and caring. Dr I is exceptional and also professional, yet personable with great communication skills. He performed a complete exam and some restorative work on my front tooth with great and conscious expertise, concern and a soft touch. I felt no pain during the freezing and any time during the procedure and after. He also made sure to inform me at every steps what he was doing and why. These are such talented and good people that provide not only great work but also kind understanding and caring treatment. Thanks much for providing the best care.

This was my first visit at Downtown Nanaimo Dental Group, Dr Inam and the Stauff we're very nice and welcoming,
My appointment at the clinic was for my child and Dr Inam made it very comfortable for here, explained the whole procedure in a very clear manner.
It was hard to find the right clinic in nanaimo since me moved from alberta and we have tried several others before coming to this clinic and are very satisfied, we will be coming here for all our dental needs.

My partner and I have been going to this office for our dental needs for about 20 years now. Despite some changes in staff over the years, they have always taken good care of us in every respect, from the excellent medical advice and skill of the dentists and hygienists, to the warm and attentive welcome from the receptionists. Happy smiles here!

Everyone was very welcoming and I was grateful they were able to fit me in on short notice to fix a chipped tooth before I go on holidays. I will be back!

This was my first visit but the way I was treated I'm very happy with the overall treatment of all the people working at Downtown Nanaimo Dental.

Excellent office, very professional and friendly. State of the art equipment. Highly recommend this office.

What a calm respectful environment. My agenda/priorities and budget mattered to them. My dentist was wonderful. She gave me her finding and recommendations in a manner that was clear and easy to understand. I truly feel that my needs were valued and that as a team we would be successful in improving the likelihood of keeping my teeth longer and my mouth healthier. Genuinely a place worth trying out you will not be sorry.

Went in for an emergency extraction, and they tried to get me to have a bunch of work done while ignoring the actual issue. I had to go to another dentist to have the actual extraction done after paying for all kinds of x-rays and extra unnecessary things. This after trying for 2 weeks to get responses to my questions from this clinic. Never again will I trust them with my dental work.

I have always felt well treated at this dentist office & I have been going there now for well over 10years!

I would highly recommend this dentistry, they provide care in a professional manner and explain the process along the way checking in that you are comfortable and on board with the treatments moving forward.

I have a *huge* phobia of going to the dentist but my cleaning was quick and surprisingly painless. The front desk staff also knows their job very well and is great with handling insurance and such.

Very kind staff who are so helpful in getting your oral health needs taken care of! Highly recommend.

Good afternoon, happy Tuesday! I been going to these guys for a decade! Never had a issue, great staff, all beautiful people:)

Amazing staff from check-in to check-out. My cleaning was the most thorough that I've ever had, and Dr. Mahara was personable and kind. The entire experience was excellent, and I highly recommend Dr. Mahara and his team to anyone looking for excellent dental care.

I am not nervous or freaking out to sit in their chairs. Very gentle. White knuckle flights are at a minimum

I’m sitting in the Chair as I write this waiting for my new crown to be printed! Only one sitting to get my crown which is great as I spend way to much time in the dental chair. IVe been coming to Dr Mahara for 9 years and I’ve had crowns, onlays, fillings lots and lots of cleanings etc done in that time. I find the clinic clean, modern and well layed out. All the staff seem to enjoy themselves and are pleasant and very knowledgeable. As they are making my new crown they are taking the time to explain each step. The technology at the clinic is vey impressive but most impressive is my care over the 9 years!
