I got my 2 wisdom teeth extraction done just yesterday and the whole procedure was so seamless that it completely eased the anxiety I had developed from just thinking about it. I am very grateful to Dr. Villing and his team for the wonderful work they did, the whole procedure was so painless and fast. I felt very taken care of by the nurses (especially the one who inserted iv line into my right arm) and Dr. Villing was very kind, informative and accommodating. I got both my lower wisdom teeth extracted and my experience could not have been smoother! Im in an extensive program at school and did not have much availability and Dr. Villings team fit me in on the one long weekend i had available! They explained the procedure through and through and i went into the surgery feeling at ease! They also sent me home with an amazing merch bag with at home care instructions, chapstick and a mug, which is soo soo thoughtful! Recovery time was easy breezy but everyone does heal differently.

I had my wisdom teeth taken out a week ago and everyone there was nice, from front desk, to nurses, and Dr. Villing. I’m not the biggest fan of needles, but they were understanding and gave me numbing spray for the IV sedation. A couple days after surgery, I was bleeding quite a bit and called the office and the nurse and Dr. Villing were very reassuring and helpful. Overall, just swelling for 3-4 days post surgery, but I’m healing well and have had no complications!

Dr. Villing is great at what he does. All the staff we're really friendly and informative. Came in for a wisdom tooth extraction, the entire process was smooth from start to finish! Only thing was the Doctor is a little too fast. He was already gone when I got up, I didn't get to thank him personally! Would recommend

Writing this review 4 weeks after my bottom wisdom teeth extraction and I can say it was such a smooth process, I had minimal pain, the aftercare was very clearly outlined and helpful, and everyone in the office was so considerate and professional.

Dr. Villing is not only good at what he does, he is also very kind and considerate. My sister was in pain for 1 more than month and due to her health conditions couldnt take a lot of pain meds. Doctor Villing accomodated her for an extraction a day after her consult. We are very grateful. The office staff is also very kind and the tech who did my sister's 3D scan was so patient with her. I got all my wisdom tooth extracted in one sitting by Dr Akash. He was very helpful both before and after the surgery. I was scared and confused on whether I should get all the wisdom tooth extracted at once or in separate visits. He was very considerate in answering my questions in the visit before the consultation. In fact, he called me over a weekend to clear my doubts and help me decide. Extraction was so painless and went very smoothly. All I needed was to follow his instructions on post extraction care. He was very responsive after the extraction as well and answered any post care questions very quickly. He is a wonderful doctor and very good at heart as well. His care team is also great. All the members in the team are very warm and assuring. Thanks for providing such a great care.

I was referred to Dr. Villing by Dr. Bhatti. I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth out under IV sedation as they were troubling my other teeth. The only thing I remember from the surgery was him injecting something and I woke up after a deep sleep. My husband informed that the entire procedure took less than 30 minutes and I was sent home with no pain. I was given clear instructions from the staff and also the nurse was very helpful and soft spoken. Since I got my surgery just yesterday, I have swelling on the face which is completely normal but no pain. I would recommend Dr. Villing to anyone requiring oral surgery! Kudos!

I'll start by saying I was referred to Dr. Villing by my dentist, and the actual surgery went well and I had no complications in my month and a bit of healing, thankfully. He has great bedside manner, was very informative during my consultation, and I was sent home with thorough instructions on how to manage post-op for each day, etc. The staff at the clinic were very friendly. I even received a goodie bag with Dr. Villing branded freebies, very cute. I have no concerns with the actual surgery, 11/10.
However, immediately after having my teeth removed I was told I would not be allowed to keep them, something about it being their 'policy'. Or possibly re: COVID, I have no idea. And despite arguing with the nurse, a photo of the teeth is all I was allowed. After going through the trauma of having 3 teeth pulled, the last thing you want to hear is that you won't be allowed to keep them and they will instead be tossed into some biohazard bin, especially since there was no mention of this prior to having them removed.
Granted, I didn't ask, but I only assumed I would get to keep them since everyone I've talked to about wisdom teeth extractions either kept them or had the option to.
So basically if you don't care about keeping your teeth as a souvenir, definitely go here as the surgeon and staff are excellent. However, if you want to keep your teeth, find another surgeon. If you are the clinic reading this review, kindly consider disclosing this policy to your clients during their consultation and save everyone the grief.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Villing and his team for my wisdom teeth extraction a few weeks ago. I was referred to Dr. Villing by my dentist because my case was quite complicated. During the initial consultation, Dr. Villing provided me with an overview of the surgery and the recovery. Following my extraction, Dr. Villing's team followed up to make sure I was doing okay - they also encouraged me to call back if I had any questions. When I did call, I was quickly able to speak with someone who helped answer my questions. I highly recommend Dr. Villing to anyone looking for oral and maxillofacial surgeons in the Lower Mainland.

My son was initially referred to another oral surgeon. We were very put off by his bedside manner so went back to our orthodontist and asked they send us to someone really stellar. Our orthodontist said Dr. Villing was the way to go!
Well, my son just had his extractions today, and I have to say I was extremely impressed with Dr. Villing's demeanour and bedside manner. He was patient and kind and answered all of our questions. My son's case was not just straightforward extractions, but Dr. Villing was confident and we felt good going forward. We went to his Vancouver office for the extractions (in order to do general anesthesia) and I was impressed by every single member of their team, from the front desk, to the anesthesiologist, to the techs/assistants. Dr. Villing was friendly and kind and did a wonderful job on the extractions.
Would definitely recommend him to anyone needing extractions!

My younger sister had all four of her wisdom teeth pulled from Dr. Villing. She highly recommends Dr. Villing, as this was the first time (in her life) she did not faint from a needle. I came here for a tooth extraction and graft. Dr A. Villing took the utmost best care of my tooth extraction. Firstly, the office follows amazing covid protocols to ensure patient safety. Once I was in the room, the nurses put all my tension and anxiety to rest. Dr Villing explained the procedure from start to end. I woke up and didn't even know we started. Amazing experience for an important procedure I was nervous about. Very thankful I got this done with Dr Villing. Highly recommend!

I have my 4 wisdom tooth pulled by doctor Villing. 2 of them 2 years ago and 2 yesterday. I highly recommend dr. Villing. Great service, great staff and his assistant make clear notes about what I should do after surgery. I heard so many scary stories from people about wisdom tooth but I glad mine was good with dr Villing and blessing of God.

Staff were very nice and friendly, as well as Dr. Villing himself. I was able to get my appointments for the X-ray/consultation and wisdom teeth extraction quickly booked within 2 weeks. Definitely recommend!

My 90 year old father needed some teeth extracted and so his dentist sent in a referral to Dr. Villing's office. The Receptionist was very professional and clearly explained what had to be done. She was able to book him in promptly as he was in some pain. When we arrived today we were greeted with a warm smile and hello. The staff that helped with the x-ray were very careful with my dad and understood that my dad's hearing was weak and so spoke loud enough for him to hear and follow directions. Once in the chair the nurse was again very careful to explain everything while taking his blood pressure. Dr. Villing himself was very thorough and did a preliminary exam of my father's teeth. He saw no other concerns, which I thought was an added comfort and said that we could do the procedure today. I felt very confident my dad was in good care. My dad noted after the procedure how quick and smooth the procedure went and how kind and easy going Dr. Villing was during the extraction. When I came and picked him up, the post-op consult with the nurse was tremendous! She explained what my dad needed to do over the next five days, repeating things twice, visually showing him how to change the gauze and asking him if he understood or if she needed to explain more. As we left the receptionist showed and went over the bill so that my dad could understand the charges. The receptionist made sure to tell my dad and me that if he had ANY complications, to phone the number on the instruction sheet without hesitation. From start to finish this is a very professional, friendly office that takes care of their patients needs and seeks to make them feel at ease and comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Villing and his staff for all your oral surgery needs.

Very nice staff, including the doctor. Had a bad experience in post-care. Went in to get dressing on both sides for dry socket, then went in to have them removed. 2 weeks later I got intense pain on one side. In desperation I was using a water injection device on the area with vigor, and out came what must have been at least half a dressing. Very infected.

I called to let them know there had been a serious mistake. The receptionist was not interested at all, and asked if I wanted an appointment. When I said I was just looking to report the mistake, she just sounded annoyed.

I don't know how this happened, but it caused me a great deal of pain an extra day of missed work. I wouldn't recommend this place, but only because the assistant doesn't know what she's doing.

I had a dental emergency, they got me in same day within 2 hours of calling, wonderful people. Did very good work and im finally pain free!

I visited Dr. Akash Villing to get my wisdom teeth removed. Dr. Akash Villing presented excellent bed manner skills and went out of his way to ensure I was comfortable throughout starting from the consultation to the procedure itself. Dr Akash called me after the procedure too see how I was healing which I appreciated. Ive heard many horror stories about extractions, but Dr Akash did an amazing job! I highly recommend him! I was referred to Dr. Villing for extraction and bone graph for an implant. I have been very happy with my experience. He was quick and to the point which I like. Never had any complications and healed very quickly. He called me the day after to surgery to check up which I was surprised and really appreciated. I highly recommend him.

My sister went there for a consult and she was told that she would have to pay $420 for a set of wisdom teeth removal.after she got it done, in the final bill, they charged $570 extra for sedating.they never told us before that they will charge this. A $400 bill was eventually charged around $800.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Had no issues with being sedated to get my wisdom teeth out. Quick and easy.
