Dr Anzarut Plastic Surgery

When I started looking for a plastic surgeon, I thought Dr. Anzarut stood out immediately. His website explained the process I wanted (a breast reduction) in a lot of detail, and expressly covered possible negative side effects, with photos. It gave a lot more information than any others, so I trusted him right away.

Dr. Anzarut is someone with a huge amount of experience and training, but more than that, he is an artist who cares deeply about the outcomes of his work.

His office staff, and the surgical team he works with, all respect him greatly, you can tell. The vibe around him is good. I found everyone he worked with, that dealt with me, to be kind and professional.

I was pretty scared of surgery, but feeling so well looked after by so many people made it much easier.

That said, I'm glad I watched at least 20 YouTube videos of other people's experience to answer questions I didn't even know I had, and to know what to ask the doctor.

I saw Dr. Anzarut for abdominoplasty to help resolve some muscle separation and skin issues following the birth of my twins. I was impressed by how thorough and patient he and his staff were, and felt that I was in good hands the whole way through the process. He took the time to make sure I knew exactly what to expect.

Dr. Anzarut is an incredible surgeon. From my first consult he was extremely informative, answered all my questions, and shared with me his expertise. He drew out diagrams, and showed me videos he had made, to help understand the whole process a lot better.

I had been waiting six weeks for a consultation with Dr. Anzarut which was scheduled for 4pm yesterday.
I was coming in from Vancouver so my husband and I took a day off work and booked a ferry. Just as we were about to board a ferry at 11am, I had a call from his office to let me know he's in the OR and might be running late so my appointment had to be moved to 5pm instead which I was fine with. Few minutes later just as we boarded the ferry, I got another call to tell me the doctor is canceling my appointment. While I understand things happen beyond our control especially in a medical field, I felt he could have still fit me in whenever he was able to yesterday as i was only coming in from mainland for this appointment. I felt like it was more inconvenient for him to spare a few minutes to see me than our wasted day and $250 for the ferry, not to mention wasting almost 2 months waiting to see him and delaying my procedure.

I am currently recovering from an abdominoplasty performed by Dr. Anzarut. My experience working with Alex and his staff has been remarkable. He has been patient and listens carefully to any questions or concerns that I have had. He is a skillful surgeon and the post-op care has been exceptional. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering surgery.

It has been almost 2 1/2 years since Dr. Anzarut performed an excision on a very visible and suspected spot on my nose. I was then and continue to be very pleased with the procedure and the final result! Prior to the excision, he explained the procedure in detail and post-op treatments, including several follow-up checks with Dr. Jody Anzarut, were thorough and reassuring.

Dr. Anzarut is a very talented surgeon with excellent bedside manner. He will always adovate for his patients best outcome long term and will take the time to give his patients the education required to make an informed decision about any surgery you may be considering.

I have both worked with, and for Dr. Anzarut as a nurse for several years during the late 2000's. I have since selected him twice for cosmetic surgery because I have seen first hand that he is without fail committed to his patients best outcome. Dr. Anzarut does this by continuing training and education to improve patient outcome and experience. He pays attention detail, focuses on realistic expectations by teaching his patients on the pros, cons, risks and benefits of surgery.

I have now had 2 cosmetic procedures with Dr. Anzarut, both times my result is exactly what I asked for. Recovery was a breeze, prescription pain medication for just 2 days post surgery. I resumed normal activities precisely and without any delays following my postoperative instructions.

Both surgeries I had absolutely minimal incisions/scarring. The edges were thin and well approximated. I had no redness, thickness nor a post operative infection. No residual pain or numbness anywhere around the surgical site - although some can be quite normal until healing is complete.

Dr. Anzarut and his staff are very personable and professional. I highly recommend them for any cosmetic surgery you may be considering.

Dr. Alex Anzarut is an amazing Doctor. When i first met him I knew that he was the doctor that I wanted to do my procedure. He spoke to me so that i could understand everything that needed to be done. I had many questions for him a few days after our initial meeting, I sent him an email with them all and I had all the answers right away.
For the actual tummy tuck itself. He did such a wonderful job, I didn't even think my stomach could ever look close to what it does now. I have never felt so good about myself ever in my life.its actually nice to look in the mirror now.and i have Dr. Alex Anzarut to thank for that.

As a smaller woman with painfully large breasts most of my life, I finally decided to do something about it. After some research, I was thrilled to find out we have an internationally trained breast lift and reduction specialist right here in Cowichan Valley. Dr. Alex Anzarut's website was informative and even had professional, respectful photos so I could see what I was signing up for. I had the surgery this past January, and it was a surprisingly positive and efficient experience, even during Covid. I had put off doing it for years because of my fear of hospitals and surgery in general, but Dr. Alex and his staff were both efficient and accessible through my experience. They even helped me through the process to get medical coverage to cover the costs, which was a big relief. Even though it was a big surgery, I had very little pain or discomfort after, and Dr. Alex was always available to me via text if I had issues (but I never did). He followed up at regular intervals afterwards, making sure I was healing according to schedule. I am just thrilled with the results. My constant neck and shoulder pain are gone, my husband says my posture has improved, and I'm just so much more comfortable in clothing and about myself in general. No wonder I'm standing up straighter! I feel proportionate for the first time since I was a child. Thank you, Dr. Alex Anzarut! I would recommend to anyone considering the procedure, don't put it off like I did. It can be such a positive change in your life!

I went to see Dr. Anzarut for an issue I as having with my breast augmentation. He and his staff were great! He had me in to have an MRI so quickly with the follow up appointment the very next day. I am so impressed with his honesty and his professionalism!

It has been about a year since I first started to see Dr. Anzarut for the cancer on my nose. Dr. Alex was very professional, friendly, and put me at ease explaining about what the procedure would be like. The operation went well and the only slight pain that I felt was when the freezing needles were inserted. I had a couple of follow ups and told that the cancer was all removed and then surgery was done to repair the hole in my nose and to make it all look presentable again. After that was all healed Dr. Alex decided to do one more procedure to repair some of the skin on my nose. I do not know the technical term but it was to "sandpaper" my nose. Again, all went well and my nose looks great. All healed beautifully. It all was a great experience with Dr. Alex and he is a kind and gentle man but most of all a great plastic surgeon that I would recommend to anybody and everybody. A very positive experience!

Prior to my hand surgery to release two trigger fingers in my right hand I had been told by friends it can take months for full healing and for the pain to go away completely.
After my surgery by Dr. Anzarut I experience almost no pain after the local anesthetic wore off and after three weeks I am completely free of pain, I have regained full function and the scars are almost invisible.
I could not have been more satisfied!
