I waited almost a year to get an appointment. Once I was scheduled I drove over an hour to Surrey where they are located. My initial appointment was an entire minute or two - when I was expected to be given 15-30 minutes… I barely was able to speak during my appointment and I was not asked about my conditions history and felt rushed out of the office & like the doctor didn’t care nor have the time of day. Phones are impossible to get through & reception was rude as well. Highly do not recommend.

Do not go to to this office. I’ve had a growing lesion and they have lied to me about my referral and why it wasn’t sent off for many months, I had an advocate follow up for me and they were also lied to and now I’m told there will be no referral. I am filing a formal complaint with college of physicians and surgeons this week into their negligence to properly care for me. Be cautious please.

My experience with Dr. Hong was excellent. He is knowledgeable, experienced.approachable and direct. My appointments were on time and the simple procedure was done with ease. I would most definitely recommend Dr. Hong as your Dermatologist.

I went to SkinFit MD and had a wonderful experience! Dr Hong and Jane were so helpful and knowledgable and made me feel very comfortable. Dr Hong did an amazing job and I will definitely be coming back. Thank you for the amazing work and experience!

I just saw Dr Hong today. I absolutely liked his sense of humour. I found it refreshing that a doctor can treat you and try to ease your anxiety with a bit of humour. I highly recommend him.

Haven't been there yet just thought I'd share that they open at 8a.m. And very unprofessionally do not answer their phone until 9am. Not by accident, purposely I may add. It's on their answering machine, so if you have an appointment or a problem you cannot even call them. If this was a good place to go, you would think/expect they would at least hire someone to be their receptionist for the hours that they're open.

Super surprised to see all of the negative reviews. Dr Chih-Ho Hong is straight to the point and tells you what you need. I'm glad a specialist finally told me what I needed to hear as opposed to beating around the bush and making me waste my time trying out different products or regimes. Just because you waited 6 months to see him, doesn't mean your appointment needs to be outstretched as well. I did not find him negative or condescending at all! He is super friendly and makes sure you understand what each procedure they offer entails.

Dosent even deserve the one star! Condescending And bad at his job. He rushed me out halfway through our appointment, didn’t even help with any of the issues we discussed, game me some random medication without checking my scalp. I had more than one thing to discuss but because he rushed me out I didn’t even get a chance to say it.

Avoid avoid avoid! This entire experience was traumatic for me and embarrassing for them! The only positive that came from this experience was that I will have a hilarious story later on. It began with Dr. Hong being quite late for my appointment, which I really am not too picky about. After about 25 minutes of waiting in the lobby, I see Dr. Hong walk past me with a plate of fried chicken and french fries. I am assuming that he then sat and ate that for the next little while, while I was in the waiting area. I finally got called into the office and the resident doctor came in about 10 minutes later, who was quite nice. The resident doctor requested that I put on a medical robe, but they did not have any actual medical robes.so he literally got me to wrap a paper bed sheet around my body.super weird. He had misdiagnosed me initially and then said he was unsure and that we would need to wait for the doctor. He then went to check on the doctor. The resident doctor came back and informed me that the doctor was dealing with a "more important" patient at the moment, so I would have to wait.also a weird thing to say. Finally, the doctor comes in, looks at me and literally (without saying Hi) says "How old is she? " referring to me. I answered him with my age. He didn't actually talk to me but rather to the resident doctor the entire time. He wrote up prescriptions without any explanation, handed them to me and literally looked at me and says "Do you have a sweating problem or something? " (I am sure I was sweating because I was so awkward with being in this paper bed sheet.). He then walks out without saying another word. The resident doctor had to do an injection for a spot on my arm and.here is the cherry on top for this story: forgot to give me a bandaid. I had to request for my own bandaid for my bleeding arm. I am honestly questioning if this whole thing was a practical joke. One more thing.the receptionists were also indulging in the fried chicken meal right at the front desk and had their plates beside a bunch of medical charts and probably important paperwork. I mean, who doesn't love fried chicken? But maybe take it to the staff room? You do work in a medical environment after all.at least I think.

Dr. Hong is a young, confident doctor! I have complete trust in his great abilities. He does have an interesting sense of humour. That said, he employs a heavier set Neanderthal manning the photo therapy booth during the day; whom has no business being there. She has no manners and ZERO customer service skills. Probably has never smiled a day in her life. It seems she has just crawled out of a cave and was placed in front of the computer to press a button. Just the other day, it seems she was incapable of performing that simple task as a patient was very upset; apparently, due to some burns caused during therapy. So, next time she acts like a brute barbarian, don't worry about it; that's her normal.

The rest of the staff are great!

This doctor on the two occasions I have visited him has been extremely rude. On my recent visit he called me old and fat. I'm 64 years young. He also was upset when I told him that my skin disorder had worsened since ending my photo therapy. He took it as insult and told me not to blame him but take it up with God. I wouldn't enter this idiots practice for love nor money. He likes to show off in front of the female interns and again thinks he can say what he likes. I waited six months to see him, what a waste of time. He has a strange air about him and thinks he is better than the next man/woman due to his academic credentials. What a mistake, this is a profession that most people respect and look up to but more so depends on professionalism and good manners being given. He's rude, ignorant, arrogant and a poor specimen of a man. Maybe a knowledgeable doctor with this or that degree but he's a disgrace to his profession.
