The dental receptionist is condescending and rude. Shame because though the dentist may be good, if the receptionist is rude, it ruins the entire clinic. We’ll take our business elsewhere and left after a terrible first impression as a new client.
As a business owners, we would never treat a valued customer this way. What a shame.

Dr. Eric Lau & Dr. Clarence Wong and their staff are incredible. I’ve been with this dental office for years for everything from regular cleanings and repairs, to cosmetic procedures. They have always made my visits very comfortable and relaxed. I’ve had nothing but great experiences and results at their hands. Highly recommend!

One of the worst service I had in my life. When Dr. Clarence Wong is filling my tooth it feels uncomfortable pain and took a few mins for him to injected the numbing agent around the tooth I thought the pain will go away after the filing procedure is completed. I still suffers from the pain weeks after the filling. I never met an unprofessional and inexperience dentist like Dr. Clarence Wong before. I would not return to this clinic even if they give me a lifetime free service. Safe your money and your time and don’t go there. This place deserves ZERO stars. It was my first visit to get a check up and cleaning. Their primary purpose is to make money. They’re big after PROFIT, UP SELLING and making more money than caring for patients. Don’t ever step into the Dr. Eric Lau and Dr. Clarence Wong dental they don’t care their patients and you will suffer more pain than before.

I would highly recommend this dentist to anyone. Extremely professional and friendly staff who do everything to make your visit as comfortable as possible. They explain everything that is happening very well and do a great job grinding and patching my teeth.

Very good. Lets start with the receptionists. They were professional, worked very quick and acted with urgency. Obtained information for me from my past dentist and also spent time calling into my insurance company to see what benefits they provided so they could give me an estimate of cost before my first visit.
When I got to the office, I did not have to wait long, and was in the chair by my scheduled time. Dr.eric Lau and his assistant was very good and worked with purpose. They also soothed me by talking to each other about their life.
Dr.lau was very knowledgeable and explained things clearly. Great first visit!

On my second visit, the poor receptionist was on the phone with the insurance robot on my behalf for half an hour. I would give them 6 stars if I could just for that. I asked dr lau why he does the cleaning (rather then a hygienist as in most places) and he explained that he gets to know his patients mouthes in a dental way much more deeply then a 5 minute visit. What dedication.

The best service.

Everyone that I came in contact with from the front office, dental assistant (Helen) and Dr. Lau were all very courteous, professional, respectful and just all around very pleasant and go out of their way to ensure that your experience is a great one! My kids love it here! Dr Lau is always very good in explaining what he did and his assessments and recommendations and really spend time with you, very caring!

My family have been seeing Eric Lau and his staff for 15 years. No matter which city we had moved we always come to Richmond to see them. They are the best in the industry for sure.

I came here after moving to Richmond and what a find! On the phone everyone was polite and they even were able to move my appointment to a much earlier and convenient date. When I arrived, there was such a great atmosphere. Everyone I spoke with was kind and Dr. Lau even had a conversation with another guest that felt so warm and like family - it really made me feel like these are good people.
I was seen by Winnie and Dr. Wong and both were so real - professional yet fun to talk to. I felt like I had been coming here for years. By far the best experience I've had at a dentist.

All the people who work here are great. They're like a close group of homies that all have a passion for your oral health.

I've been going to this place since I was a little girl. The staff has always been friendly and kind to me making my trips there always a joy. When I was younger I looked forward to having my teeth cleaned despite all children movies (the ones involving dentist that is) claimed.

Dr. Wong and his dental assistants have given me the best dental experience I have ever had! I They are not only very professional but also very friendly and caring. They followed up with me after I got my lingual bar (I think that's what it's called?) and night guard. I would totally keep going back to them and recommend others to visit them! =)

Dr Lau is very professional in taking care of my boys' oral health. He is very patience and knowledgeable. My younger son is always anxious about seeing the dentist. Dr Lau and his assistants spent lots of time explaining every aspects of the procedures and building a trust conversation and making sure my son is comfortable with the cleaning. He also spent time educating my older son about proper oral hygiene. Nowadays it is so hard to find a dentist who is willing to spend his time talking and educating patients, especially for young patients. All the staffs at the office are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, making the whole dental experience exceptionally pleasant! If you are looking for a dentist, Dr Lau office is where you should go!
