Recently I had two wisdom teeth extracted. Never had any oral surgery and the entire team made it as smooth as possible. Special shout out to Joelle at the front desk for her compassion and scheduling me in so quickly. The two assistants (apologies your names have escaped me) on surgery day were truly amazing; professional and caring. Jason knows his stuff; was highly recommended to me by my own dentist. He is a matter of fact dentist and he gets things done quickly and properly. Thank you for making this anxious patient sail through this process. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.

I had my first procedure done with OMS in Burnaby January 31 this year. They were extremely helpful and very thorough with the results.
I had all my teeth removed for a few reasons, after he put the needles of freezing in my mouth I never had a single twinge of discomfort or pain.
The assistants there are so nice and professional that I was able to relax and allow the work to be done.
Front desk staff are so pleasant and helpful as well, I had stitches that were bothering me very much and they had me in a chair within 30 minutes and 5 more minutes I was stitch free and on my way home.
I will recommend this group of Dental Care Professionals to all the people in need of their services. 5 stars is all they have to offer but they made me feel so much safer and looked after.

I had my bottom two wisdom tooth pulled by Dr. Choi. Best experience ever on a dental procedure. My one tooth was a little complicated but it literally took him a minute to take it out, I was worried for nothing. If you are getting wisdom tooth out look no further, this is the place.

What a wonderful first experience here at OMS Group Burnaby. I had my 2 wisdom teeth removed yesterday and I didn’t feel the pain at all. I’m a nervous dental patient but Dr. Choi made me feel super comfortable the entire time and the staff is all so welcoming and friendly. I would highly recommend!

Both of my daughters got their wisdom teeth extracted. The roots of the teeth have not grown out yet, and Dr. Choi was very quick with extracting all 4 of the teeth. The procedure was within half an hour. They said there was barely any pain during the procedure. It was very lucky to have such a professional team.

Incredible Surgeon! Treated my child with exceptional professionalism and care. The procedure was 10 minutes and easy-breezy. Pre- and Post-care have been exceptional. Administrative staff team are thorough and efficient. Clean office space with modern design. Nothing but great things to say about the experience.

He was very professional, explained the procedure prior to starting, kept me up to date as to what he was doing next while doing the tooth extraction, and asked me to let him know if I needed more numbing agent. I was in and out in about half an hour.

I had to remove 2 wisdom teeth. My previous experience was absolutely traumatizing so my orthodontist recommended I go with a specialist surgeon, Dr. Choi.

The office staff were patient and professional. The office itself is brand new and looks beautiful. It's across the street from Metrotown.

During the initial consultation they did a thorough intake and assessed everything to make sure I qualified for deep IV sedation and the surgery. Dr. Choi was confident and experienced with a lot of awards and great recommendations so I was happy to go forward with the surgery. I had to wait 1 month for the initial consultation and 1 month to get booked in for surgery. YES they are that busy so book ahead as soon as possible.

Day of. I was super nervous. They gave me aftercare instructions and prescriptions for antibiotics and strong painkillers. Once I got in the chair and they started giving me oxygen I calmed down. After they put in the IV, Dr. Choi said "You'll feel sleepy". Then what felt like 2 seconds later he told me I was done.

I didn't remember a thing and it felt like I was dreaming. After I got driven home, I was sleepy and tired the rest of the day but not much bleeding, no complications and no pain really. I was numb from the local anesthesia until I fell asleep.

The next day I already felt much better. It was such a smooth, professional experience. I wish I'd gone there the first time around! Sedation is soo worth every penny.

They do charge a bit more than other surgeons so even my dental insurance which usually covers 100% didn't cover all of it. But so well worth it!

I have had two surgeries performed by Dr. Choi on both occasions I was given the highest level of professional care. All support staff is so kind and helpful, that can only be offered by professionals that work from the heart.
One more surgery to go and Dr. Choi is the surgeon.

Dr. Choi is an excellent doctor. I had my wisdom teeth taken out a few weeks ago. He was very cautious of my special medical condition. After the operation, I had a very fast recovery. Dr. Choi is very friendly and professional. He also speaks Chinese, which was convenient when communicating with my family. I would recommend him to anyone needing dental surgery.

Dr Choi is a professional dental surgeon. My daughter had odontoma problem which had prevented her permanent tooth growing up. Dr Choi made an appropriate surgical plan after checking. My daughter has had comfortable experiences in first appointment and during the surgery. All staffs are very friendly and considerate. Lillian helped us a lot which we much appreciate.

Went here back in July 2021 and I had a good experience with the staff and the Dr. Choi. Was told by my guardian that drove me back home, that it only took a couple minutes for the entire procedure to be done. They called me a few hours after numbing wore off to check on my condition and I had no issues the week after either. Was very nervous to do this during covid-19 times especially when most of us barely had gotten our 1st vaccinations but everything was fine. Good experience overall!

So at the age of 65 I put my care into the hands of Dr. Jason Choi and his Team! It was time to remove my severely impacted wisdom tooth. Their professionalism and high tech office was top drawer. The outcome was successful with minimal post surgery discomfort. I was given full information for home care instructions. I also appreciated the follow up call from the office to see how I was managing. I would highly recommend this Specialist Team!

My experience with my cyst and wisdom teeth removal was excellent. I was very impressed by Dr. Choi's professional skills. Before the surgery, I was very worried that there will be a chance of resulting permanent nerve damage on my face. I was very reluctant to have the surgery. Dr. Choi sounded very confident during the consultation and given his expertise experience and the positive review, I decided go for it. It went well much better than I thought. I was so touched that I got a follow up call from the OMS group the next day to check if I encountered any challenges. In fact, I had a speedy recovery, no pain and of course no permanent nerve damage on the face. What a big relief, thank you Dr. Choi and his team. He is an amazing Dentist, I hate going to the Dentist, but Jason put me at ease, painless and fast, I had three teeth extracted in less than 30 minutes. I remember another Dentist I visited for a tooth extraction years ago and it went over 90 minutes and was painful as hell. If you get Dr. Jason Choi count yourself fortunate. I know I do.

I am extremely happy with the result of my 2 wisdom teeth extraction under sedation. Dr. David Yang did a terrific job thoroughly explaining everything a patient need to know and expect with the procedure. The surgery took 30 minutes. I only experienced slight to negligible pain after the anesthetics wore off, and minimal swelling. I am eating normally the next day although I was advised to take soft diet. After surgery, Dr. Yang and his team phoned to check up on my progress. The receptionist did an amazing job in sending several text notifications a week, 3 days and a day prior to the surgery. The whole team took great lengths at providing pre and post op care. Will highly recommend Dr. David Yang to friends.

Dr. Choi is great! I got referred to him by my dentist as I have two impact wisdom teeth to remove. During the consultation Dr. Choi explained the procedure and went through the CT scan I brought. He also answered my questions and concerns. At the end he recommended me to do full anesthesia, which I’m so glad I did.

The day of my surgery, Dr. Choi‘s team was like a well oiled machine. Everyone had a part and knew exactly what to do. Afterwards I recovered on a couch and they let you out in the back door down the hall way. Which was a good thing as I was still out of it.

Following my surgery I got an email asking how I was doing as well as a call from the clinic. My healing took a week or so, but I had no complications whatsoever.

My experience was very positive and I will definitely recommend Dr. Choi to my family and friends.

I've been to see Dr. Jason Choi twice now. The first time he extracted 3 teeth. I was in and out in 15 pain free minutes. On my second visit he extracted 7 teeth, This time I was in and out in 20 pain free minutes. I highly recommend his services, dentists don't come any better than Dr Choi. ***** stars. I just got an implant placed by Dr. Choi, and the whole process was remarkably smooth, fast, and virtually pain-free! The staff is friendly, helpful and efficient, and the office/technology is top-notch. I felt very safe and comfortable, and my recovery is going quickly and well. I also really appreciate that for a specialist, the fees are quite reasonable.

Dr. Jason Choi seems to be a very competent dentist and my extractions went well. He does, however charge even more than the prescribed rates, which I find unreasonable and completely unacceptable. I would therefor look for a different specialist next time I need one.

I can't recommend the OMS group and Dr. Jason Choi enough! I had so much anxiety and fear when I found out I had to get my wisdom teeth removed but from the moment I stepped in their office all my anxieties were calmed by the welcoming receptionists and the rest of the dental staff. Dr. Jason was very kind and explained how the procedure would go and made me feel confident that I was in good hands. The procedure itself was exactly as he said it would be and within 30 minutes of sitting in the chair I was done and ready to go home. If you are someone who's had horrible dental procedures in the past or have high anxieties about dental work this is the place to go, the entire office has a very calming energy and the staff are amazing and so friendly I am truly so grateful to them for taking such good care of me!

I was so scared about having a dental implant placed in my mouth but recently saw Dr. Choi for a consult and later surgery. He understood my fears and explained in detail the implant stages of treatment and options. He spent time with me to answer my questions. When it came time for surgery, Dr. Choi was smooth with his freezing. I did not feel any pain with the implant surgery. He and his staff gave me instructions for after surgery and they even called me to follow-up. Overall, the experience was much easier than I thought. I have a broken molar. I also have a phobia about needles and both the dentist (Jason Choi) and the front staff thought that was hilarious. The front staff was nice enough during the consult stage, but they didn’t take me seriously when I told the dentist how afraid I am of needles. When I went to get the molar pulled they called me in and I was white as a ghost and sweating from anxiety. They kept trying to goad me into getting the needle even after I called it and said I was out and needed to leave. They even tried to use gas after I expressly said no. The snarky dentist was rude to me as I Iedt the office and said “I need to come up with a planwill be writing to the correct authorities.

You'd expect the doctors to be skilled since it is a specialist office but front desk receptionist was extremely rude
