Dr. Josh Chenowith - Family Dentistry

Always a fantastic experience at Dr. Josh Chenowith's practice. An amazing team - caring, friendly, informative and thorough.

I went to Dr. Chenowith after getting a small chip on the back of my left front tooth. He initially told me it’s nothing and not worth polishing as it would probably polish off too much. I was a bit paranoid about the potential of further cracks, so he took a closer look and assured me it’s fine.

However, he then proceeded to say let’s polish it down, and at that point I was a little confused and thought it would probably be just a little bit behind the back, surely it wouldn’t be too much if he already said polishing too much would look bad.

After the operation, I looked in the mirror and found my right tooth visibly shorter. I tried to gaslight myself into thinking it’s probably always been that way. But recently as I compared more and more photos from the past, I realized a significant portion of my left tooth was indeed gone, and I look worse than before. I don’t really know what to make of this except feeling a little disfigured.

A visit to the dental clinic is typically not a lot of fun. Dr. Chenowith and his team are amazing - and also a lot of fun! I highly recommend.

Shopped around for dentists for a few years before landing on Dr. Chenowith because he tops up Uvic benefits, and was rated as being good with children, being a father himself and all. Staff was friendly, timely and professional, but also warm and welcoming. My dental hygienist, Brenna, was amazing. I'm one of those people that actually likes going to the dentist. The office itself is definitely hard to locate the first time, I wish there was more signage outside the building. Will be bringing my children and husband there as well.

Would absolutely recommend this clinic to others. Had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr Chenowith and the overall experience was really good. Super incredible people at this clinic and they all seem happy to be there:)

Josh and his team are incredible. Can’t recommend enough how great the service is. Frank, clear, and open discussion of what’s being done with long lasting incredible dental work. Also, the hygienists are all incredible.

It was a great first time experience for my son yesterday. He loved how he was treated and can't wait to come back and see Dr. Chenowith and his team. I would recommend his clinic to everyone who wants to get a professional and truly caring dentist.

All the staff here are really incredible, kind people. I've had great conversation both times I went in and they all are very knowledgable and take the time to explain what they're doing on your mouth. Highly recommend!

Amazing "true" patient care and service. Like no other I've ever experienced. Feeling better by the minute. I was in rough shape, now rapidly on the mend with very little pain and a huge appetite. Its feels great to be chewing practically painlessly again. In fact I had a wonderful breakfast. Thought I would be drinking my meals still. Instead eggs Benny and hashbrows. Thanks and praises all around.

If you want an easy and relaxing (as relaxing as a dentist visit can possibly be) experience, Dr. Chenowith and his team are the way to go. I honestly always found the dentist to be really intimidating before, so this is such a great change for me. For once in my life I don't dread going in. Everyone there is so friendly, and the quality of the work I had done is really exceptional. I've had many compliments on the work I had done, and am thrilled with it myself. I'm so happy with my experiences there and would absolutely recommend to anyone!

I’m so grateful I found Dr Chenowith! After a traumatic dental experience somewhere else, I was left with a lot of dentist anxiety, but Dr Chenowith and his staff have been nothing but patient and accommodating. He’s an excellent dentist, and I’ve recommended him several times to friends.

Dr. Chenowith: Thanks for coming to say hi yesterday and talk about biking and doppelgangers briefly. Too bad we weren't able to catch up a little more, but I realize that you and your teams time is very valuable.

With that said, I wanted to mention that my time in your office yesterday was nothing but positive. Your team was very open and welcoming, from the time I walked into the office, until the time I walked out, which made my dental experience as pleasant as it could be. You work in a business that can be very personal, and as an individual who works in health care, I really appreciate the time and effort you and your team take to make me feel as comfortable as possible, despite the fact that my mouth is being perused.

Keep up the great work all of you. Your work is awesome and it does not go unnoticed.
