Dr. Michael Butler is the best ophthalmologist I have ever seen. He is very professional, kind and knowledgeable of what he is doing. By performing an eye exam, he can see issues that are not visible to scanning devices. I recommend him to anyone needing an expert doctor.
Also, the staff at his clinic are all courteous and very responsive. Had no issues with scheduling appointments and follow up visits.

Dr Butler has been very helpful.
The one star review was due to the poor experience I had with his surgery booking assistant Marilyn. My mom has an upcoming cataract surgery booked at the hospital in about a week; however, lately her blood pressure has been very unstable and my mom was just worried that she might not feel well on the day of the surgery. She asked me to contact the office to rebook. Without even asking why we need to postpone, Marilyn started giving me a lecture and she sounded very upset on the phone. She claimed she has already done the booking and lens ordering and it was not fair that we need to reschedule. She just kept on saying we could have let her know earlier and stuff but again, my mom is 73 and her health cannot be predicted so I just wanted to see if we can postpone the surgery a bit until she feels better. Unfortunately, I was not given the chance to explain because Marilyn just kept on lecturing us. At the end, I had no other choice but to tell her that we would keep the appointment and hang up as she wouldn't stop complaining. I understand that all the preparation has been done (which is her main job anyways) but I think she should step back, listen and give other people a change to talk.

Had terrible experience working with Susan. Im 38 and was blind with cataracts and couldn't work or drive and she refused to book me in for surgery unless I paid $2000 even tho I was covered by medical. She made me wait almost 3 months. She's not there to help you. She's there to get the most money out of you and doesn't care if you're blind and unable to do anything. I had to go to another Dr and he took me in within a week and restored my vision without charging me extra. Never met anyone Soo rude in a healthcare setting before. My name's darshan johal.
