I called them about frozen pipes and within about an hour the plumber was here. He was polite and helpful and shared information with me. He thawed my pipes, wrapped them with a temperature activated heater and thawed out the water meter. I was very impressed and will call them if I ever need emergency plumbing again. The cost seemed reasonable.

Had these guys in to remove a garburator and fix an under the sink leak.

The office was professional and answered all my questions prior to the appointment. They were quick at finding a date/time that would work for everyone.

Showed up on time, even a bit early, and got to work right away.

I had their technicians come to fix a faulty pumping system in our toilet. They were on time and very professional and only took them 15 minutes to fix it. The charge was what I expected for the call, nothing more. That sure beats my experience with Super Plumber, who spent over 30 minutes “fixing” the same toilet less than 6 months ago and it was never really fixed and they charged me a crazy amount for their so called work. They then tried to hook me into a monthly club with fees in case we needed to call them again. If they did the job right in the first place, one would not need that! We had an emergency call for my 91 years old mother-in-law, I must admit they showed very quickly on Sunday, the guy was polite and nice, however they did not do anything the issue the suggested was in septic tank, and their diagnostic was wrong, so after 5 min he gave us a bill for $220 and that was after his senior discount! A complete rip off. We did not want a free visit but $220? ! Make sure you ask the cost before calling these guys.

We were impressed with the speedy service Drain Pro provided to address our clogged kitchen drain over a long weekend no less! We called late Saturday afternoon and were scheduled for a service call the following afternoon. John-Michael Slater arrived a half hour early and got right to work on the blocked kitchen drain. He located the stubborn clog 36 feet down the drainpipe, cleared the clog and had the kitchen water running within 1/2 hour! Used Drain Pro Plumbing to inspect our sewer line which we thought was cracked. The inspection showed not only that it is indeed cracked but that it was also clogged 80 feet down the line. They unclogged the blockage, tested the line and will most likely be back to repair/replace the sewer line (once I get the estimate). They responded to our initial call promptly and sent their technician as soon as they could, preventing our small leak from becoming a bigger mess.

I would recommend them for plumbing services.

Had a difficult to diagnose problem that was driving me crazy. Drain Pro's crew came back three times, the last time with a two person crew. They didn't stop until they located and solved the issue. Very methodical, persistent and professional.

We hired this company for a large home renovation that took several months. We were very easy going, calm and tried to work with the company to the bitter end. However, it cost us much more than it should have, because of the way the job was handled. There were many trips to the site which we felt were to increase van trips, much of the work we ended up having to have redone by other plumbers as it was not installed correctly and it cost us more money with other trades due to the plumber not doing the tasks on time or communicating properly to the other trades. On several occasions the plumber was very rude to us as the homeowners. We tried many times to discuss this with the owner of the company who would not return my calls or discuss the issues including billing, all of which could have been easily resolved. We have paid our invoices in full, although we felt that we should not have, because we had to pay another plumber to redo a lot of the work. The work that didn’t get redone was also sloppy and done to minimum plumber standards. He also did not clean up properly after installation on the site, leaving a giant mess that the other trades cleaned up. I am disheartened to leave this type of review as I am usually the person who celebrates local tradespeople, however I can not be quiet on this one. Use caution with this company, check the quality of work, stay on top of your invoices, do not expect professionalism and watch how the plumber manages their time.

Made an appointment on behalf of my mother. Jason W. Showed up on time and rectified the problem promptly. When my mother was paying the bill she was four bucks short and offered a credit card. Jason told her not to worry and accepted the cash that she had on hand! Thanks for looking after my mom Jason. Will definitely use these guys again and recommend to friends and family.

Initially, I was pleased with the result, price and information from camera-ing by Drain Pro. I was told there would be follow-up with an estimate for re-trenching and this did not occur even after calling with a request. I have subsequently contacted other companies for a quote and discovered some issues with Drain Pro's initial diagnosis. I was told by Drain Pro that the line from the house could not be augured (they claimed they could not get their equipment down the PVC), not true, another company accessed the drains and did 90% of the line with the appropriate equipment today and camera-ed the cleared line so we knew what we were dealing with. I was told by Drain Pro that the line on that side of the house would have to be fully re-trenched and numerous trees removed, not true another company has provided a couple of easier, cheaper alternatives to what was suggested by Drain Pro. Further, I was misinformed by Drain Pro as to the location of the City's aerial line. Okay cursory service, bad follow-up and very poor diagnosis. It feels like Drain Pro wanted to make some money by quickly calling for a new line and re-trenching?

The technician who responded to clean roots out of our sewer line was professional and did a good, fast job. He then took measurements for the estimator to provide us with a quote for a permanent solution. Over one month and three phone calls later, we have not received the estimate or had our calls returned. The estimator is never available when we call and he doesn't appear to get our messages, even though we speak to an actual person each time. I can only surmise that they are not interested in doing the job and are waiting for us to give up.

July 11,2022 addition:

The response from the owner was not satisfactory. If they really cared about what I was saying, they would be calling me to apologize and rectify the situation. Looking into it to ensure it doesn't happen in the future does not help me now.

I was very impressed. Prompt service and in the beginning of a long weekend my shower broke down. I was expecting I would have to wait for the long weekend to be over and my family with out a shower.ugh. The plumber showed up the next day, fixed my shower in a decent amount of time. Friendly and professional! And a decent charge. Thank you!

We lost our relatively new hot water tank to flooding last November. Within two days Drainpro had set up a temporary hot water tank that served us well until a replacement for our ruined one was available. This company responded quickly and very good-naturedly, even though they were flooded with calls from others suffering water damage. We were very impressed with everything about this company.

I didn’t get the name of our plumber but oh my gosh he was fantastic! He arrived at 11am even though we had a 3-hour service window, which impressed me so much. He explained everything he was doing and showed me how to take off my p-trap in case I drop anything down the drain again. AND when I mentioned I would be picking up a drain screen, he got me two out of the truck! He was super friendly, and quick. Everything was done, cleaned up, and put away in 35 minutes, my ring retrieved, and life back to normal. I work at Westshore Town Centre mall in the property management office and I often have retail tenants asking for recommendations for trade workers and I will be MORE than happy to recommend Drain Pro to anyone. Our plumber Alex was on time, quick and efficient! He quickly realized the problem and fixed it! He cleaned up as he went along so I only had to replace what was in my cupboard. His being respectly and reassuring went a long way! I would certainly recommend this company and staff!

Plumber was fantastic and DrainPro getting me a slot the next day after calling is also fantastic, but charging $150/hr plus a $40 dispatch fee is kind of insane. Dispatch should be included in that $150/hr fee (which is minimum 1.5hrs). I was also not made aware of the price of the replacement valve that was being put on the toilet to make it flush better, which was not something originally discussed.

I was very happy to have Mark help me with a water leak from the ceiling in my laundry room. He really tried to follow the leak so as not to have to cut into my ceiling. He traced the problem to my upstairs toilet connection. No holes in my ceiling. Thank you Mark. Drain Pro is the business to call.

They really came through to fix our stopped kitchen drain when others said they could not come for a week. Amazing service and they managed to clear the clog in short order after I spent 2 days with a powered snake to no avail. Reasonable pricing too. THANKS

One of their service people, Mike, went over and above, helping me sort out a fireplace fan, fixed a few drains and repainted our fireplace insert. It is running like a dream. Very friendly, courteous and professional, 10/10.

The plumber they sent was great but they tacked on an extra $90 for "supplies" and dispatch, IN ADDITION to the actual parts.which they listed as boot covers, and masks. They didn't use boot covers and it's ridiculous to charge $45 for masks.

They also didn't make me aware of these charges before and when I asked them about the charges, they just ignored me. Although I'm happy with the plumber, I would not recommend them or use them again, as it's obvious they are just padding on these charges.

Great service from Drain Pro, came out for original install on a Sunday. Ran into an issue with our existing plumbing and came back out the next day to fix. Can't recommend this team enough!

Install was quick and professional. I opted for the cheaper quote of two options for a new hot water tank. Day of install, turns out there were no cheap options left. And was forced to go with the expensive option anyways. And I say forced because I needed “a” new tank. And it was “take it or leave it. ” There was no discussion other than the installer saying “yeah sorry no cheaper options available, sorry. Hope you’re ok with that” I was not. But what am I going to do? A phone call to say, Hey we don’t have the materials, would you like to re schedule? Or go with the more expensive option. (I don’t suspect this happens a lot but it would be nice to have that discussion from the management not the installer) I just paid it.

The staff are excellent! They are knowledgeable and very professional. We use them for all our plumbing needs and highly recommend them to everyone.

Our older tankless water heating system sprung a leak on Thanksgiving Monday. They were here on Tuesday with a temporary hot water tank, and the unit was replaced & operating by Wednesday afternoon. Great service with friendly & knowledgeable folks. Thanks!

We tried dealing with two different companies before calling drain pro and I wish we had just started with them. Our transactions were professional and to the point. He really took the time where we needed it (since we wanted to know more about our set up), and made quick work of everything else.
Bonus: The cost was less than estimated and less than we were going to pay with other companies!

Warning: Drainpro Plumbing only guarantees their work for one year. I had a Moen Kitchen faucet installed by them a year and a half ago, and it is now leaking and creating water damage. When I spoke with Jason, he wanted me to pay $300.00 just for the labour, for a visit to my home to retrieve the faucet and return it to Moen for a replacement, and a return visit to install the faucet again. He was dismissive, defensive and righteous to me. I do not recommend this company, and I shall be reporting them to the BBB.

We are out of town landlord in Victoria and we had a water line burst in a rental. August 4,2021. Drain Pro was on site in less than 30 minutes (fortunate to be in the area) and repaired the broken water line. They also pressure tested the system on both sides of our duplex and found it to be in need of service. They took care of everything. Thank you to Jaysen, Axl & Mike for the service and repair work. It was very easy to book an appointment on-line. The plumber showed up an hour earlier, tried an easier solution to clear the clogged drain and had to auger as a last resort. Professional, answered questions. He sprayed something to wipe down the bathroom tile floor but it wasn't that clean and I could see his shoe prints on my hallway hardwood floor. Other than that minor point, my expectations were met and I would recommend.

Not happy with the service. It was an unfinished job. He was about to leave without even inspecting the front and seemed out out that he had to go back and do it. We still don’t know if our drains are blocked.

We paid to get our drains inspected and cleaned. He left telling us there was mud in the drain. Said he couldn’t clean it because he didn’t have the equipment and it took two men. Are you going to Come back and clean it? We thought cleaning is what we paid for.

Also said he “will be back” to clean the mud off the stucco.

My wife and I had put in an offer on a house and the home inspection noted standing water in an outside drain and recommended further investigation with a borescope. Drain Pro Plumbing was able to accommodate our tight deadline and provided a thorough report on the condition of the drains, allowing us to make an informed decision.

John worked very hard to solve our drain blockage. We have an old house and the plumbing is unconventional but he persisted and was able to clear it.

They arrived on time and very quickly installed our toilets, taps, and clink drains. We would call them again if needed.

My landlord hired this company to fix the perimeter drains around the property. They started in February 2021 and it is now almost July and they are still not done. They show up for half days and some days they were only here for 20 min. They then told there boss that the job was 100% completed but neglected to actually finish the job. Garbage was left all over the yard as well as clothing and cigarette butts. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!
