Kiran is an absolute artistic genius. She got me ready for 3 events for my brother- in-law’s wedding in early September. She arrived on time and got me ready an hour ahead of schedule, all with a smile on her face. I got so many compliments on all the days. She truly knows how to make a girl fabulous. I will be calling her anytime I have a close family wedding/ events!

I just finished my course at Drama Queen studious and it was awesome. Everything went by so well, I learned a lot of things about makeup and got so much better at it i over time and in each class. No other place could teach this well! Drama Queen is the right studio and everything there is so nice. The teachers, students, and the location is amazing. It’s so clean and makes it feel like home!

Got glammed by Kiran & Baljit for a very glamorous, upscale 1200 person wedding reception party. They worked on myself and my aunt and did an absolutely amazing job. Their attention to detail, expertise and friendly demeanor was so appreciated. Throughout the night of hugging people, dancing, photos, the makeup and hair stayed in place and we both got so many compliments! I'm very good at doing my own makeup and I'm very picky, so I have extremely high expectations if I'm going to pay someone to do my makeup. I've had My makeup done many times before and was always left disappointed but not with Drama Queen, this is truly their craft and they are so talented! They did exactly what i wanted! We also got our saris tied by them and they didn't move the entire night! We went to their home studio location to get everything done and it was very clean, spacious and felt like home. Kiran is even ready with granola bars for her clients if you get hungry! We were not rushed at all, they took so much time with us both and that was so appreciated. I highly recommend Kiran and her team for your next special event. Friendly, professional and definitely know what they're doing! Ok I got my hair and make up done by Amrit from Drama queen. She did an AMAZING JOB. Showed up 10 minutes early, super pleasant, listened to everything I wanted and nailed my look. My mom had her for hair and make up too, and was equally impressed. Definitely requesting Amrit from DQS in the future.

I had my hair and makeup done by Baljit for my cousin’s wedding event. I was so happy with my final look. Baljit is so efficient and detailed oriented, she gave me such a flawless finish. It was such a clean look, exactly what I wanted. The hairstyle she had done on me was so much better than what I had envisioned.

Love love love Jag! Jag is an amazing makeup artist. She did my makeup for two different family weddings, I would say five functions altogether. I got lots and lots of compliments! She provides the fantastic customer service, carefully listens what you want and delivers exactly! Ones she knows your choice you don’t have to explain her again. Trust me! Even with all running around during all the functions, each day my makeup looked exactly she put it on. She is superb! I had a really great experience with Drama queen. Ranjit did an excellent job on me. The make up was beyond my expectations and on top of that what a lovely soul, didn’t feel like I am meeting her first time. She made me comfortable right away we just talked like sisters throughout the session.

All the ladies were so sweet and did a fantastic job on my hair and makeup for my engagement. My makeup stayed in place all day and night. I received so many compliments and everyone said the makeup was amazing. I have small eyes but Kiran really made them pop. Everything was flawless and seamless. They pinned my dupatta really well too and it was very secure. A very fun experience indeed and I can’t wait to get queened again for my wedding events.

I recently attended a wedding in Surrey and booked Drama queen studio in advance for my reception look as they are quite busy in summer. Their customer service is also great. Kiran booked make up artist Mannie for me. I had no experience with any of their artist as I am from Saskatchewan and was also anxious due to first time getting make up service in BC but to my surprise Mannie did an awesome job with her knowledge and skills. I did not tell her much as she know what she is doing. You can sit confidently with eyes closed as she has lots of patience and know your needs. I felt their rates are little high as compared to others but make up services are great as well. You won't regret after you get lots of compliments. I would highly recommend DQS and will definitely book Mannie in near future for any event.

Mannie was the best makeup artist who did my makeup on the last minute. Honestly, I had no clue where to go cz I live in Alberta, just came to BC for a family event. One of my friend recommended me her. She did amazing job. Whenever, I had someother event, I will definitely go to Drama Queen Studio.

Amrit is sooo good at what she does. She’s great at suggesting what looks nice and what doesn’t, I would always let her decide what to do.
She’s very patient, if you don’t like something just tell her and she doesn’t mind fixing it, doesn’t rush anything. I didn’t have anything in mind for my look so I let her decide what to do and she did an outstanding job.
My mom is very hard to please, but she was amazed by Amrit’s work. This was the first time that she was soo happy with her look and didn’t have to fix anything, everything was on point. I was suggesting an updo for her but Amrit suggested something else and no doubt it turned out amazing everyone loved her hair and complimented her look, and makeup stayed in place all night
We would definitely hire Amrit again she is such an amazing person and very calm. She listens very well and the best thing is that she doesn’t force her opinion.
