Dream Cycle

Unhelpful staff with minimal communication, in the end, my problem was not fixed nor improved. The staff member looked like he could not care less.

Upon recommendation I brought my Apollo bicycle to Dream Cycle for a minor repair.
The gentleman that dealt with me was most dismissive, he made it out that my repair was not worth his time.
I asked if he could suggest another store that would help me and he just curtly shrugged.
I believe from further inquiry that he is the owner of the store and I was later warned to not have any dealings with him personally.

This is the goat of bike shops. After repair, My bike is actually better than new. The staff are beyond personal and so professional there isn’t another option for me, this is my bike shop!

I’ve had my Surly LHT serviced at dream over the years. I recently ordered a Disc Trucker and they built and customized it for me in a week and a half, just in time for a camping trip to test its mettle. It’s comfortable, fast, handles well both laden and unencumbered, and looks great. The disc brakes are a noticeable upgrade from LHT. With racks & fenders it’s ready for year round commuting, grocery runs, and touring. Thanks Anita, Sebastian, and Matthew for making it happen.

Since 2007 I've been stopping by from time to time and the crew is always honest, helpful, and friendly.

Just purchased a rear rack for my bike here and immediately after payment I asked if I could borrow an adjustable wrench for Instalment and was told “no our tools are our livelihood” …. So are your customers and you just lost one

I’ve been going here for a while now when I get a flat. The guy who usually helps me (I think the owner) is super friendly and knows his stuff. The service is always quick and affordable. I would definitely recommend the place weather it be for bike repairs, a new bike or any questions you might have.

A year ago I went to the shop, and I was very happy, left the below message - 5 stars.

But now things changed, and mostly because of the owner, who is not very polite. I took my bycicle there because of an specific problem with the brake. They fixed a bunch of stuff related but not the main issue (the calliper). I told the owner the problem was still there. He said his helper didn't tell him, but I specifically mentioned the issue when I left my bike. The bill wasn't cheap, because of all the other spare parts, than don't fix the calliper issue.

The breaks are working now, but I know I will have issues again soon. Not happy, I won't take my bike here again. It's the kind of shop that they do stuff without listening to you and without asking.

When I left he offered me a discount for the next brake adjustment. What a joke

I went yesterday to fix my brakes, and the mechanic took it right away, and put a lot of attention in details. I had my bike ready in about 20 min. The price was fair. Best experience so far in Vancouver. Thanks to the tall blond mechanic guy.

Sold me a park tool bike pump. Lied to me to make the sale by telling me the bike pump had a lifetime warranty. Now that the bike pump has failed, Parktool informs me it only has a 1 year warranty. Doesn’t seem fair to lie about something like that.

Hi there Dream Cycle i just wanted to let you know I absolutely love your new high rise dream bar. I took my buddy for his first 100k ride yesterday and it was my first ride with the new bars and it was amazing! We rode 101km around most of Surrey and White Rock on asphalt, gravel, and trails and not once in 4.5hrs of riding did my wrists get sore or cramped and zero hand sleep! These bars are simply the best upgrade I have ever spent on any bike!
