I put off learning to drive for many years before reaching out to DUA and I am so glad I did. Eric Chan was my coach and he quickly put my nerves at ease. Before long, I was gaining confidence and learning lots at a steady pace. Excited to say I also got my N on the first try! Thanks again to Eric and the office staff at DUA!

Sim is an exceptional driving instructor! Patient, knowledgeable, and adaptable. Lessons are personalized, making the learning process efficient and enjoyable. Sim's guidance instills confidence on the road. Highly recommend for a 5-star learning experience!

Took some private high speed classes at the Mission Racetrack. The instructor, Patrick, was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for anyone who is struggling with high speed driving.

Witnessed the driving instructor driving this vehicle without a student on a Vancouver Island highway, travelling slowly in the passing lane, holding up an extensive amount of traffic and failing to check any of the rear view/side view mirrors to even be aware that their poor driving was an issue. Not to mention there were a minimum of 5 signs along the highway noting that travelling in the passing lane is against the law. Absolutely do not recommend learning how to drive from a business that isn’t able to follow the rules of the road without a student in the car.

A massive shout out to Farzaneh! I couldn’t thank her enough for taking care of my 17 year old daughter, she passed her test on the first go with only two minor demerits. She had nothing but good things to say about Farzaneh and the best part of it I’m off the hook being a passenger….

I’ve had 3 driving tests and numerous different instructors prior to Farzaneh. I’ve cried during those lessons because of how they made me feel. However Farzaneh has a way of making me feel calm and confident and I learned to enjoy driving because of her. Did 3 lessons with her and passed. Farzaneh is amazing and I cannot praise her enough.

Took driving lesson with Eric from du academy. Excellent coaching skills Eric. For the 1st time in my 22 year driving career I learnt to parallel park and reverse park correctly and smoothly. Also passed the road test on the 1st try. Thank you Eric. Well done

Very disappointed with driving experience with my child. The instructor did give driving tools via ipad, there was no change in driving ability or skill. Was not ever taught how to back up. What a waste of money.

I am an anxious driver.
Or shall I say, I WAS an anxious driver. I was in an incredibly life-threatening car accident at the young age of 4 where my whole family miraculously survived. I had lived with a fear of driving until one day at the age of 17 I decided to face my fear and take my knowledge test. Passing on the first attempt, I had begun my driving journey. At first, it was my father teaching me the basics of driving, he is a professional truck driver for a living so he is more than qualified, but he couldn't teach me everything. I had gone with a privately owned driving school at first, but loss all confidence I had in driving with that school and instructor. I felt as if I was only running errands for my instructor; getting gas, discussing accounting, and overall suggestions of places to eat. While my instructor was a nice person to chat with, they did nothing to aide me in my fight against my fear with driving. On more than one occasion I would head home in tears and full of anxiety after a lesson with my instructor. It was horrible. I loss confidence with each time I opened the door to the vehicle. However, 2 weeks before my Road Test, my family booked with Driving Unlimited. We booked 2 lessons. That was all I needed. I had learnt more in the 2 lessons I had with Driving Unlimited than I did with 10 lessons of another school. My confidence was through the roof! On the day of my test, we booked the pre-test refresher session, and I was golden. My test went without a hook and I passed first try! My nerves? Gone. My anxiety? Present, but so miniscule it was like it barely existed. My DU Instructor was the kindest person I have had the pleasure to learn from and work with.
