Duffin Cove Oceanfront Lodging

Beautiful beachfront location! Our family had the pleasure of staying in one of their beautiful cabins! What a treat! The kids had a blast, climbing the ladder up to their loft. It was perfect! What a cute space! Enjoyed our morning coffee out on the deck and it was a fantastic space to bbq with family. The staff were extremely accommodating and responsive… What a wonderful stay!

Views only are what this place offers. Service is sub-par, blaring music all day from the businesses next door. The walls are paper thin, I could hear entire conversations from the people staying next door. Service was very poor, the front desk girl was rude and not accommodating, which I was surprised by considering our requests were modest (I.e. Answer our texts). Highly overrated, will never recommend this place to anyone and will not be back.

The whole place is very minimalist. Each room has beautiful views from the balcony. It’s very spacious and comfortable. Everything in the rooms is good quality and clean. The location is also amazing, it’s close to the water and near to restaurants and shops. It is pretty pricy so keep that in mind!

Amazing view and convenient location! Super quiet and secluded. Very helpful staff who accommodated my late checkin and messaged regularly to check in. Loved the easy parking and convenient location close to town. I think I might have had one of the rooms that hasn’t been renovated yet, so there were some signs of wear. But overall an excellent stay.

We were unfortunately unable to make it to the resort due to an island-wide road closure, but Catherine made the process so smooth.:) looking forward to re-booking our stay when roads reopen.

Beautiful and modernly designed resort at the heart of Beautiful Tofino. Very close to all amenities, shopping, gift shoppes, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. And the Cove view is absolutely stunning. Check in and check out is a breeze and hassle free. The staff are very courteous and responsive to concerns. We cannot wait to stay here again.

Very happy with our stay here. The rooms were clean and provided with everything you need for a few nights stay. The view from the balcony was out of this world! We often would want to go back to our hotel just to sit out on the balcony and watch the waves roll in. Nespresso machine offered in the room and extra coffee pods available at the front desk. The communication with the staff through automated text message was great and convenient. 100% would recommend a stay here.

Beautiful newly renovated rooms with unobstructed views of the water. Great location within walking distance of town, but tucked out of the way so it was quiet and peaceful at night. Staff were lovely and responsive. The food at their sister location Bear BIERHAUS was very good and would highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay at the Duffin Cove! The waterfront cabins are an absolute dream. The view from our deck was incredible, and we were able to enjoy sunrises, sunsets, and the stars from comfy chairs. The cabins are clean, new and beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to prepare our own meals when we wanted to. The beds were really comfortable, and the bathroom was stocked with Carina Organics products. The manager Amanda went above and beyond! I would definitely recommend the Duffin Cove.

Best place you will find in Tofino. Brand new, modern, plenty of storage space in rooms, heated floors and best view ever.

We came for a weekend trip and were blown away by the cozy rooms with amazing views. The staff recommendations were great. We will definitely stay here for our next Tofino vacation

The room is the perfect size for a couple. It's not a huge room but is very well appointed and the bathroom is gorgeous with a floor to ceiling window in the shower (frosted of course) and in floor radiant heat. The room comes with a mini fridge stocked with creamers for the Nespresso machine. The bedroom features a huge sliding glass door which opens to a nice large deck with two chairs and a small table. Perfect to sit out there to listen to the waves and take in the views. We were there Oct 26 to 31st and while it rained quite a bit and was cool, we always slept with the sliding door open enough to hear the waves and was the best way to fall a sleep at night.

Check in and check out were extremely easy and one of the things we really liked were the text messages we would get welcoming us to the property the day we were arriving and a few other texts guiding us to some of the local spots in town for food and drinks. Was a really nice touch.

If you're looking for a romantic spot to call home while you're in Tofino, we would highly recommend this location and when you book, make sure you get the Premium Studio, 1 King Bed, Ocean View. You won't regret it!

Duffin Cove is a lovely hotel located in a stunning location.
Beautiful water views from the room.
The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
The room was clean and modern.
The hotel is located right at the edge of the village and everything is just a short walk away.
Do be aware though that this isn't like a standard hotel with an attached lobby and amenities. Not that this is a deal breaker in any way. I just thought it worth mentioning.
The front desk is located in its own building and is only staffed from 10 to 6.
But, staff is available by text if you need them for anything.
The only thing that I think was missing is that the room did not contain a microwave which would have been handy for a late night snack.
