Duffin's Donuts

Duffin’s has been around for such a long time. Am glad that they kept the retro vibe because it gives a unique experience to customers. Donuts were light and crispy. I also tried one of their sandwiches which was pretty good too.

First time here for fried chicken and I was surprised at how amazingly tasty it was. Was surprised because the chicken was just sitting in the heater for I don’t know how long.

The chicken was moist and seasoned nicely. Skin was also crispy.

My fries took 10mins to arrived. But it was super hot when I did get it. Don’t know if the fries are made to order (hence the long wait time).

Donuts and coffee were just that. Nothing special.

Will need to try their sandwiches next time I’m back. Heard they’re good. Just hope the wait time doesn’t eat into my 30min lunch break.

Tasty donuts! Better price for half dozen donuts compared to other donut shops. The buttermilk raspberry and coconut cream donuts are fire. Definitely recommended.

Worst service. Complained about a hair on my food and the tall Indian lady said “it’s just a small hair” (she shouldn’t be working in a food service) then started swearing on me in their language, too bad I understand what she said and when I confronted her she couldn’t answer me directly.

In 2023, day-old chicken is $6.00, you get a mix of breast, drumsticks and wings. The day old donut is $6.25, you get like 12? Definitely still has charm and a touch of classic cuisine.

Tried to place an order by phone for 30 mins. No answer. No wonder the pick up line for order by phone was empty.

Definitely gives Tim Hortons or Subway a good run for their money! Great selection of donuts, I had to teriyaki chicken sandwich for lunch and it was amazing! Got a sandwich, coffee and a donut for 11 bucks, tax in, you can't eat at McDonald's for that nowadays!

Open 24 hours a day and busy the whole time. Great sandwiches, great donuts. Haven't tried the fried chicken yet but it looks delicious as well.

It was very busy so long wait times, the fried chicken was very tasty but my carne asada torta was the worst I ever tasted, the meat had ok flavour but there was barely any in the sub, something in sandwhich tasted old and rotten couldn’t figure out what it was but the ingredients were not close to fresh. Made me sick. To clarify the chicken was good the torta I got was not

They don’t know what customer service is. They don’t even say hello or good morning to the customer. Not even a friendly face. Apart from that, the hot chocolate I had here has been the worst I had in my entire life. The doughnuts are good.

One of my favorites to go for late might or just got donuts in general. I like their Boston Cream more than Krispy Kreme.

I bought an apple fritter. Old and Burnt. Half usual size. I didnt find out til i got home. Called them to notify issue and received "buyers beware" from the staff on phone.

Color me impressed. Very tasty chicken, two good (better than some artisanal places) and a nice coconut water for 9.83 that’s damn good value.

Ever since high school. Way back in 2006, i have been coming here for donuts, Chinese food and fried chicken. They used to be 24 hours which I enjoyed as it was a great place to hang out with friends late night. Unfortunately they dont operate 24 hrs anymore. They serve great donuts. I love the variety of their menu. Sad that the Chinese food selection is gone. But I'm still grateful they still serve great fried chicken with rice/fries at night:)

Best place for a fresh sandwich, in-house donuts, and coffee open 24 hours on Friday and Saturday and 12 am throughout the week. I frequent this place almost daily

Great spot, but if they could start using knifes to cut their sandwiches instead of whatever dull utensil they currently use, that'd be great. I've never bought a sandwich I didn't have to rip in half because only the top bun is cut.

Good food for a great price! Their variety of cuisines is golden and the flavour never disappoints. Sometimes the order can take a little while to come out, but hey it’s always busy there so we’ll cut them a little slack! A Vancouver classic, whoever is visiting town or brand new to living here, definitely check it out!

JAN 2023 - First time visit since the pandemic. Unfortunately the size of the torta buns have shrunk at least 25%. Prices have increased slightly but still worth the price. Noticed it's not as slamming busy as it was pre-pandemic.

JUNE 2023 - Was in the neighborhood at 10: 30am on a Tuesday. 3 people in front of me in the line up. 4 others waiting for their orders.took 15min to get my order of 2 viet chicken torts and 4 piece fried chicken which is slower than expected. After i ordered there was literally no else waiting in line or for their order. Pics are from this order.

Wasn't impressed with the bagel; the donut was okay. Lots of graffiti in the bathroom. Decent prices. Lots of space to sit down and converse.

A must visit place, a landmark if we can call it one. This place is excellent for nice and delicious donuts and late night snack cravings. The best in my opinion are the buttermilk donuts in lemon and raspberry. They also make excellent burgers and for very inexpensive and affordable prices. Excellent service and friendly employees. Will come back again and again.

Where's the pupusas? Why on earth would they stop making those. It was the only thing I ever bought from them. Stopped by the other day and they are gone. What a shame. Lost any future visits from me.

Best fried chicken and donuts in Vancouver. Oh Torta Subs and bubble teas. Bring back breakfast!

I could not believe that i found Duffin's Donuts, It was and still is one of the old times hang outs in those days Had great memories, even with a new generation, I really enjoyed my time there Yummy It was awesome.

I swear I have no idea how they pass their health inspection but best fried chicken I’ve ever had in my life. The diarrhea was well worth it. Will definitely be coming back even though the woman I just spoke to on the phone hung up on me.

So we were just at the cafe and we come here every Sunday after church with friends but today we had a really bad experience which I cannot believe. A girl with short black hair was yelling at us and telling us that we have to know what we ordered because she only calls numbers. We tried to explain that we are helping the elders sitting with us and we’re not sure what they ordered. She yelled and and talked over me. I told her to not talk to me in this way and asked to talk to her manager. The 3 girls that were there looked at each and whispered something in Punjabi and the girl with the black short hair yelled at me again and said she’s the manager. I told her there’s no need to lie to me because clearly she wasn’t. She walked away and yelled at my father from across the cafe and told him his 4 orders were ready. He got scared and was confused as to why she was yelling at him. He got up and told her that he doesn’t like the way he’s talking to her and that he did not order 4 bubble teas but just one. She basically yelled again and said she’s gonna refund them. I asked the other 3 girls who seemed to be way nicer to speak to a manager. She interrupted the conversation again and started saying she’s the manager and was just ignoring my requests. The girls were being nice to me but she said to them to ignore me. Next my brother went to the washroom and there was no soap. He asked the girl and she brought him a soap bottle, gave him two squirts and took the soap to the back again. This whole experience was horrible and I felt bullied. Last, the girl got off and she gave me a dirty look from outside as she walked away.
I waited for the next manager which we spoke to her. She said she will bring this up to the boss and apologized about the behaviour and said the girl has issues. Hopefully it does not happen again.

Great Doughnuts. You can them being freshly made in the back. Friendly service. Affordable prices. But the place needs to be renovated. Not a pleasant experience to sit & eat there. Hopefully they can modernise and continue their success. Wonderful alternative to the soulless corporate chains

Craved some donuts so grabbed a half dozen. Cruellers, a honey dipped, bavarians n a maple longjohn.

All the food is great, vibes are great, 10/10. The veggie burger I ordered tasted VILE to me BUT I could see how some people would enjoy it and I'm sure many do. When they said veggie burger, they were being very literal. If you are expecting an A&W beyond meat type of burger you will inevitably be disappointed lol

Looks like they are getting super slow in service as well as Indian music playing all day.
