Dunbar Smiles / Drs Sabeen Tiwana & George Porteous

Went to Dunbar Smiles for the first time today and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a dental clinic. All of the staff were really kind and friendly; I was instantly put at ease. It was also great to be given such clear explanations post-examination, and the patient care in general was brilliant throughout - I really felt like my comfort was made the first priority. Overall highly recommend!

I came in for a second opinion on a procedure I got at another dentist and I felt at ease as soon as I walked in. I thought the staff was warm and attentive, and the waiting room was cozy. Dr.attended all of my concerns and I'm looking forward to my next appointment!

To have severe tooth ache during overseas vacation is always an issue. My daughter settled in Vancouver referred me to Dr Sabeen Tiwana as she had visited her previously. During consultation & review of the x-ray, it was recommended by the doctor to remove the wisdom tooth. Finally gathered courage & took an appointment for the extraction of the wisdom tooth 2 days later. I must admit that this was the least painful extraction so far! I've been a patient at this dental office since 1986. First Dr. Porteous and now Dr. Tiwana. I always receive excellent dental care here. Highly recommend and will absolutely be repeating.

Wow, these guys really know how to take care of a patient! The receptionist and hygienist are good at what they do but the real standout is Dr. Tiwana. She took all the time I needed so I understood what is going on with my teeth. I will definitely go back to her.

Can't say enough great things about our visit. The work was top notch. They found a little spot that needed repair and fixed me up right away, so I didn't have to make another trip back. It's also an excellent place for families with little kids. Dr. Tiwana was so great at putting my 4 year old to ease, that she actually climbed up into the chair all on her own when it was her turn for a cleaning! It was nothing short of a miracle Highly recommend.

It was my first time to a dentist in a long time.so i was quite anxious. On top of it i had a bad case of caries which needed a lot of work ie root canal. Dr Sabeen was super professional, kind and made it an absolute breeze.i Totally recommend them. This coming from a guy who dislikes dental visits.

I went with my two boys (4 and 6 years old) to see Dr. Tiwana for the first time and she was absolutely fantastic! She made the visit easy, chatting and joking with the boys, all while providing efficient and painless dental care. She then expertly took care of my cleaning and dental work. Dr Porteous and his staff provide experienced, professional, and friendly general dentistry. He is very skilled practitioner. Our family has been seeing him for many years.

Dr. Porteous was recommend by friends. I have been seeing George for about 5-6 years now and he is such a friendly, genuine, professional! I highly recommend this dentist if you are looking for one. Experienced, cost conscious, and kind. I've had a few dentists in my life and Dr. Porteous is easily the best.

My entire family has been seeing Dr. Porteous for decades and we don't want him to retire-ever. He's the best dentist we've ever had and a really nice man. I recommend that everybody go to him.
