We would like to extend our gratitude to Karel and Bradley for their excellent support throughout our stay with Dunowen Properties. The downtown location proved to be a fantastic recommendation, and any issues we had with our apartment were handled promptly and in a very professional manner.
My wife was also really pleased with the apartment since it was very well equipped to accommodate her during a post surgery recovery. After a second successful second stint staying with Dunowen, we will continue to use them and recommend the company to anyone seeking a rental apartment in downtown Vancouver!
Unfortunately ending our business relation was very unexpected
and disappointing this was about deduction of 150 $ from our security deposit which was totally unfair, we stayed thare for six & half month with a highs rent, they did not control our departure on 15 March which was on Saturday we did sent photos from entire place to Karel and we keep the place vey clean, we paid a moving fee in and our excuse of Carpet cleaning was not according to our Tennent Agreement. We ask them not to charge us but they did not listen to us,
From day first in July 2021 to 15 November 2021 in the same place unite 1106 and second time from December 2022 till 15 July 2023 mant times by E-mail and WhatsApp message informed the management that the second bed room bed was not comfortable, has given my self and my sons neck & back pain but they never listened to us to change the stupid bed.
Finally my wife and myself at the we become dissatisfied and disappointed with their service. Paying 4500 $ for 6 and hap month was more than enough but deduction 150 $ from our Security Deposit was very cheap and unprofessional for such Dunowen Properties.
Finally they are not five start company at all due our judgment,

During some extended stays in Vancouver in 2023 I stayed in apartments as arranged by Dunowen Properties. I am very much pleased with the process of moving in/out, the ease of communication and professional level of service.
I had some issues with one of the apartments and the good people at Dunowen listened, took action immediately and had me relocated to a different place. They are also quick to respond if something breaks or needs replacement.
Additionally I know several associates also make use of their services and are overall very content with them.
Will for sure be using Dunowen next time I am in Vancouver.

This is by far the worst check out experience I hv with a short term stay. The cleaner threw away my baby’s pillow I’ve kept for more than 30yrs I hand down to my son which I left behind on checkout. They did not even have the courtesy to ask. A few days later, I notice I was missing another 2items. So I asked if they saw it. And the staff kept it without telling me! And refused to answer me when I ask if I have other things I left behind.
Worst part is the Manager Michael did not apologize or think it was wrong to have threw away or kept tenant’s belonging without informing. A company you can’t trust.
