Went in to see if I could get my glasses adjusted, and even though I hadn’t bought them there, the kind owner Moira was eager to help me out. She got me fixed up quick while having a friendly chat with another couple customers. Really pleasant experience! Will definitely come back to shop.

Every time I’m in town I stop in at Durant to try on glasses and sunnies and they always have the best curated selection. The staff has the best energy and is extremely helpful. Highly recommend!

STORE
The vibe of the store is great and comforting which makes trying on the hard to find + local brands a great experience. The staff are cool people and will work with you to search through the extra drawers of glasses they have without feeling like a sales person. I actually visited a few times before being able to make my decision and they were kind and remembered me every time.

OPTOMETRIST
I also got my eye exam done by one of their in house optometrist Dr. Lili Liang who is a cool person too and whom I have no complaints of! I think her availability was good too.

CUSTOMER SERVICE
I let the screw holding on the arm get too loose and it fell out while I was on Main st. Luckily they added a location there and I was able to get it repaired in minutes at no cost!

SUMMARY
Wish my eyes would change so I would have a reason to go back!

I have bought my last several pairs of glasses from Durant Sessions Gastown. I really like their selection and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall great selection, great service, A+!

I had a really great experience here. It was my first time getting my eyes examined in many, many years and Dr. Bligh was so kind and so easy to work with. I experience a lot of medical anxiety and this was one of the best medical experiences I've ever had. The optician team, Jo and Femy, were super helpful and great to work with when it came to frame selection as well. 5/5 would recommend!

No wonder why they have perfect 5 stars reviews! It is very hard to come across such great service and attention. I brought by sunglasses to get new pads and they were changed on the spot. When I asked how much I owed, I was told it was nothing with a great smile! Thank you for such a pleasant experience. From now on, this will be the place to go!

Their eyewear is not cheap. But that's because they have high quality products. The people here are a delight to deal with. Very helpful. And when there's a problem with your glasses, they happily help you out. Went in today with a bend in my frame. They were fixed on the spot, for free, and even came with some great conversations about basketball. My kind of shop.

The selection is unique and refreshing, some real rock n roll vibes. LOVE my Oliver Peoples sunglasses and get compliments every time I wear them. Darren at the shop is a beauty! He knows his stuff and was able to repair another set of shades I had that weren't even purchased from this store. He brought them back to life for me. He's generally just a cool cat, never pushy and very helpful.

After trying other, more corporate places; (LensCrafters, sun glass hut) this place was an oasis.

Bought my first pair of glasses here after moving to Vancouver. Always some interesting music playing here (via turntable!) and the staff are very friendly. A+

By far best spot to get your specs in the city. Only premium brands. A staff that really cares about getting the best fit for each individual and have the knowledge to back it up.

Incredible service and up beat vibe. Darren will find you the right pair of glasses with his vast knowledge on eyewear. They have a wide price range that is competitive with other retailers. However, they also carry the finer stuff for the fashionistas.

I absolutely love this store! They have such an amazing variety of eyewear - it was so hard to choose a new pair of sunglasses. I literally wanted to take them all home!
