Tonight Tanner helped me pick up some pre rolls and took his time to explain to me what the difference between products was and was able to give some great recommendations based on previous pre rolls I have liked.

Great store, with amazing staff. Robyn was excellent help, her knowledge of the product was impressive. Along with the selection of products, I will definitely make this my go to store.

Super friendly staff! Carissa was such a delight and super helpful. She has lots of knowledge about the products and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. This is by far the best dispensary in Kelowna, 10/10 great vibes all around.

They were great, but why say you opening youve run off due to far off fires I guess they prefer us to buy from further away than a block from home

I had a really bad experience I bought a vape and was not funcional, I asked for change the product and they can’t do it because the return policy is only 15 days!

These girls took advantage of my mom who litterally knows nothing about cannabis and when we tried to return the products unopened and fully sealed with the gov stamp they showed us a fine print on the receipt that says no returns and all sales final. How would my mom even know that all sales are final until after she bought something? She wasn't told all sales are final. They talked her into buying over 200 dollars worth of cannabis, she wasn't even told she could get larger quantities to save money. They sold her two packs of 5 gram joints for a hundred bucks. Anyone that actually had the customers best interests in mind would've told my mom that you can buy oz bags for around 120-130. The way it all went down it truly fealt like they were intentionally trying to get as much money out of a clueless old lady as they could. The fact they wouldn't let us return the unopened stuff is really shady also as ive had no issues doing sonat any other dispensary. Please people don't go here take your money somewhere like cheeba cheebas where the staff actually cares about customers.

Oh and also I just thought I would mention my mom has a cognitive disability that effects her decision making and problem solving abilities. That's why I took her back to the store to return some of the stuff she was talked into buying and ya pretty ridiculous they have a fine print that says all sales are final. I truly hope this buisnuess fails. Thanks for ripping off an old disabled lady who was just trying to do something nice for me and my wife. Thanks for turning what was supposed to be a sweet gift into a nightmare. You can imagine how my poor mom feels about this, totally taken advantage of.

Very shocked with the taxes! No where near this expensive in Edmonton! Definitely will be limiting my cannabis purchases in B. C

Bought an 1/8 of hash an 1/8 of flower today, cost me over 100$ flower had no taste or smell! Hash is low grade at best. I don't mind paying for quality, this is not that. Thumbs down.

Great staff and location but I've gotten bad product before and management refuses to do anything about it which sucks when it's expensive premium product that should have better quality control

Everytime I go into this store to purchase something it is sold out. The website will say they have it in stock but they NEVER have it in store. I just had an employee decide to give the product I drove across town for to an online order. The girl helping me was just as shocked as I was as the staff members in the back gave what I asked for to an order that wasn’t in store. Don’t waste your time - they care more about $ than the customer in front of them

After returning to this store (I haven't visited in a few months) there has definitely been a shift in management and staff. The store itself looks sad and so do the staff. I'd recommend taking your money to another dispensery with proper price matching and product selection.

My gosh the prices. 4x what a person should be paying. Usual price of 3.5g is $20-25. Not $45- 80 plus tax

Definitely the most aesthetically pleasing dispensary I’ve been to. The staff they have are awesome. All of them were educated on the product and helpful, not to mention welcoming too. Lauren recommended the gems product and they have worked out so well - Lauren also had such a great attitude which made my visit so much better. Thank you Lauren and the Hobo crew!

First time buying cannabis in Canada, from walking in the door to leaving the staff here made our experience very pleasant. You need two pieces of ID when you enter and then you’re free to browse but there are plenty of staff to ask questions to if you need it. They recycle their containers as well which is awesome. I wasn’t sure what to get to enjoy with some friends and we were recommended Tangerine Dream, it’s a perfect amount to feel chill and have a laugh.

Overpriced, bought 2 personal joints one was terrible dry weed barely even smoked. Now I have to disassemble the other one for product checking. Wasted twenty bucks.

The aesthetic is decent but the underqualified staff consisting of a group of teenagers has convinced me to shop elsewhere. Their product knowledge appears to be limited to a verbatim recital of their minimal training, and their attitudes reflect their age. If you want to pay top price while being spoken down to by 12 year olds, this is the place for you

Being that it is one of the only dispensaries in the area, I have to give it five stars for its location service and product. Even though it may be inconvenient, it’s still better than your other options. I would describe the store as an Apple store for cannabis with the rows of iPads for you to browse their selection and create an order before approaching the front counter. This allows you to not feel pressured into anything and allows you time to educate yourself or be educated by their employees, if need be.

I really would like to give them more stars but never any weed in stock and prices went up.
They just opened this past summer. $40 for 3.5g pink Kush now tax included. The employees are nice but that about it.
You’d think if they sell out of weed. They would order more next time. Update. I went to Nations Cannabis (old indigenous bloom) and they had some good stuff. $10 a gram and $25 1/8 and no tax. That store is under new ownership. I recommend trying it out. Hobo ok but when competitors come around. It will be much better

I think a lot of product is outdoor grown but you aren’t told by any signage if it’s indoor, hydro, so as long as you know your products you can purchase easily at a tad over regular prices and hopefully the outdoor product is cheapest there is lots of young staff to answer questions and surprises me to see a lot of their customers are my age 60’s or older so don’t think this store is for younger adults cause it’s full of old folks like me convenient parking easy drive in drive out from mainstream traffic flows

Amazing store with a very appealing environment! Hobo provides an unique experience that I have not seen at other cannabis stores. Between the friendly staff, store layout, and large selection of products they are not lacking much. I recently purchased an 8th of headband by grail and it is amazing (sticky buds buds tons of resin). I plan to continue shopping at hobo in the foreseeable future and recommend it to anyone looking for an awesome retailer!

I was excited to have a shop open locally but after being in a few different times it's disheartening to see the prices first of all as many of the same strains and others are available online from the BCCS at much cheaper prices. Secondly, inventory can be frustrating when you finally decide on a strain and then are told oh we actually don't have that one so try this 50$ eighth instead. I will keep shopping online until they fix their prices and stop gouging.

The staff and managers are friendly and helpful enough although everything I have tried so far is very underwhelming. When I look at the date of packaging on the products most of them are over a year old. Hobo’s cannabis is way too dry and harsh tasting. Lower THC levels are caused from this and much lower terpenes. Overall a terrible experience for a cannabis connoisseur. 0/5

First time going was fine, guy was nice, second time I wasn't even allowed to enter due to not having two pieces of ID which I find strange. Allowed in one night not allowed the next you need nicer staff. The female staff seemed to stick their noses up. I've been to many dispensaries, non who demand two pieces of ID. I don't have two pieces of ID. I can buy smokes and liquor just fine with one.

I've been a customer at Hobo for quite some time. Despite the high prices I'll keep my loyalty here since I know itll go down within time. What sparked me to finally write a review was the employee Sidney (hopefully I spelt her name right) went above and beyond to help me find a strain that's right for me when my typical one was sold out. Loud inside, awkward layout of product, overpriced, few reasonably priced strands.

The worst of it is the very dry product. Everything ive bought from here crumbled when i opened it.

Absolutely ridiculous prices up to $70.00 for an 1/8! Bought some white rhino and the flower was completely bone dry it Disintegrated to the touch and was brown in colour. Looked nothing like displayed. Would definitely NOT recommend!

Such an awesome store with amazing staff:) the interior is beautiful everything is very simplified to make it a very unalarming experience! They have such cute accessories aswell! The products i can tell are getting fresher and fresher everytime i go.very impressed

Hobo is great environment to walk into. Instantly greeted with lots of help if you'd like it. Not to mention the interiors are very zen like with many plants!
Lots of options for cannabis as well as cannabis accessories.

The staff alone make this place worth a visit. Friendly, approachable, helpful, and professional, while still being open enough that you can joke around with them and have a fun time. The prices are high, but they have options that work for most budgets and are still reasonable for government cannabis. They have a vast selection of bud as well as oils, capsules, and CBD products. I personally recommend the Reign Drops, as I live with chronic pain and they helped alleviate some of my symptoms. I’ll definitely be coming back in the future!

Beautiful looking store but the quality of product that comes out is very low end for such high prices. Haven't bought a product that looks and smells anywhere close to the price tag on it.

The store is very nice great layout friendly staff product is way over priced some 3.5g bags were $70 I pay less than half that and my product is 10 times of what they have on the shelf, the indica I purchased is quite potent which is how I like it but the taste is very lacking IMO maybe back in the future

The store is nice, has a good setup, and the staff were friendly but the actual product is of poor quality and over the top in terms of price. $49 inc tax for the worst eighth I'd ever bought, which was packaged over 8 months ago. Won't be going back.

Not only are the female employees very rude, disrespectful and unprofessional but the blonde employee with winged eyelashes also attempted to give my fiancé her number after he told her multiple times that he was engaged. She told him that she didn't have to know. This is so disrespectful considering that she's helped us both in the store together multiple times. Another one of the employees here was extremely rude to my brother as well, to the point where we walked out of the store.my fiancé was there around 6 today.really disappointed and disgusted with the employees here.

The layout and decor are stunning, but that is literally the only thing going for hobo. I bought tangerine dream, smelled the sample, bought an eighth and took it home. Opened the plastic medical container (which once open isn't air tight) the Cannabis doesn't even resemble what I saw as the sample, had no citrus smell and was purple (the Cannabis I saw was green with orange and yellow hairs)
I've been consuming cannabis for 15+ years and was genuinely excited when Canada legalized it but after my experiences with legal stores I will not be buying from the government and will continue supporting my dealer.

$69 for certain strains of eighths is way overpriced. I paid $40 for an eighth of Diesel. Their computer and ordering system is unnecessary and complicated. You choose the strain you want on the floor from a sales associate. They take your name (I hated this part), and order and put it in the system. You go to the counter cashier and they look for your name on a list. They could not find my name when I had just given them my name and order and so the process took longer. There was probably one other customer in the one room store with 15 people on staff. My order was sour diesel. In the end I ended up with a strange large cream looking bottle with an eighth of Diesel (wrong order).
Again, for $41.00
This place is a ripoff.

The staff was friendly and fun while perfectly professional. I'm from Alberta and if the prices at home were as good as they are here for recreational cannabis I would buy a lot more from the store.

Pretty annoying to pay $65 for 7g, only to open up the container to find the bud is so damp, its not going to be smokeable for a couple of days. Having to pay $65 for a quarter is bad enough, product not being cured properly before sale is ridiculous.

Edit: Just wanted to add to this, after trying to smoke the product (MK Ultra) it tastes like chemicals and is very harsh.
I love the lay out of your store and I know this is a product problem that is out of your control, but unfortunately as a result of this I will not be a returning customer.
