Eagle Eye Adventures

We have been on several wildlife tours in the past, and we must unfortunately say that the 6 hour whale watching tour we booked with Eagle Eye Adventures was by far our least favourite. Although the communication with the agency upfront was good and although we did see some whales (humpback and killer) on our tour, the overall experience was not worth the immense 250 CAD per person we had to pay. Much had to do with the attitude of our guide. She wasn't very enthusiastic and didn't seem very eager to search for several (different) animals - a mindset which is quintessential for these kind of tour guides. Instead, we spent almost an hour watching one specific whale, an hour watching another, and with lunch included, our time was at that point almost over. In total, we stopped at only 4 animal spots on our 6 hour, expensive tour - which is very disappointing. We would suggest booking a whale watching tour with another company - maybe even in another area of Vancouver Island (e.g, Tofino).

This was nothing short of amazing, making this a must-do adventure for anyone visiting the area! Our tour led us into a fascinating marine world, an experience that's etched into my memory forever.

Our captain, Brine who wasn't very "Salty", truly stood out from the beginning. With his vast knowledge about the local marine life and the area, he was able to guide us through a journey that was both educational and awe-inspiring. His passion for the marine environment is infectious, making the trip all the more exciting.

Apart from his knowledge, Brine also added a perfect blend of humor, making the trip lighthearted and enjoyable. His friendly and warm demeanor made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped onto the boat. His stories of the sea and its creatures were entertaining and insightful. This greatly contributed to the overall jovial atmosphere of the trip.

The safety procedures were another aspect that was commendable. Captain Brine kept us informed about the safety measures at all times, creating a safe and reassuring environment. His professionalism and commitment to safety were evident, allowing us to focus solely on enjoying the thrilling encounters with the majestic marine creatures.

Eagle Eye Adventures is a top-notch service provider in every respect. Their dedication to providing a memorable, safe, and fun-filled whale watching experience is evident in every aspect of the trip. The unforgettable sights of whales breaching the surface, the echoes of their calls, and the splash of their tails on the water were truly life-changing.

I highly recommend Eagle Eye Adventures to anyone seeking a unique, exciting, and unforgettable whale watching experience. Captain Brine and his team will make sure that your adventure will be one you'll cherish forever. Kudos to Eagle Eye Adventures for setting such a high standard in whale watching tours.

Also they had a few boats out scouting to make sure we got everywhere to not miss any action that day.

Today we went on a tour with Eagle Eye Adventures, and had a great day! The Zodiac boat only has room for a small group, so your contact with other people is easy and enjoyable. The captain was knowledgeable, and made sure we had an excellent view of the wildlife. Lastly, the packed lunch was varied and tasty. Thanks for a lovely day!

Very warm welcome, tour of 6 hours including lunch, pilot Marco was very enthusiastic, unfortunately no whale or orca seen, highly recommended

6hr whale watching tour on the 2nd of may. Even though the whales didn't play ball we had a picture perfect day weather wise lots of seals, sea lions and egales. All the staff were really friendly, our captian and guide jos was full of knowledge about every aspect of the area and wildlife. The enclosed boat was incredible, clean, comfortable and handle the various currents with ease.
The lunch stop location was something out of a postcard, lunch provided was more than adequate very generous pack with fresh sandwich fruit juice and snack.

Overall a great day out on the water with a great company.

We went on Eagle Eye’s whale watching trip on 5th October 2022 and had an absolutely fantastic time. Big thanks to Jos and crew for making the trip so enjoyable, they were very informative about the whales and best places for sightings. One of our party was in a wheelchair and the crew went out their way to make him feel comfortable and to assist him on and off the boat. Thank you so much for being so considerate and having a vessel with is wheelchair accessible.
The vessel was well equipped and surprisingly stable so it was easy to walk around for best views of the whales. The sightings we had were fantastic with a pod swimming within feet of the boat!
We will definitely be back for another trip next year and highly recommend Eagle Eye’ trips since they let you see the incredible beauty of the BC coast and nature. The Grizzly bear trip is a definite must for next year.

Probably the best tour we've ever been on! Out of this world! The owner/ guide was just amazing! What a great, smart, funny and passionate guy! It was a pleasure to be onboard his boat! One of the best days! Honestly! And

obviously the animals too! Wow!
