Shady sales people that don't hold up to their promises. I love my new vehicle but feel a bit swindled. I won't buy another vehicle from this place.
Update Jan 2024, Service department is usless as all hell. Take your vehicle anywhere else. Extended warrenty is a scam. They still make you pay.

The auto shop is great! I booked a last minute service using my GM app. A no hassle ride to work. My only disappointment is that I always seem to receive discounts on oil and maintenance after the service as taken place!

What an amazing team at Eagle Ridge GM!
They were very welcoming, friendly and have highly knowledgeable staff.
Terry the sales consultant was such a pleasure to deal with and went out of his way to ensure that I could purchase my dream car, Marco Ferrone the department manager had the deal done quickly in an efficient manner and was very accommodating and also was a pleasure to deal with, Arash and Pi the sales managers were very thorough in their communication with me at all times and were always available when I needed to contact them.
I would like to thank all the amazing staff at Eagle Ridge GM and highly recommend this dealership for anyone wanting to buy a new or used vehicle.

Today July 5th 2023 at around 3: 30 pm unfortunately I had to deal with the service department at Eagle Ridge GM Coquitlam and specifically with two people 1. The short older woman (perhaps a supervisor or something) 2. Rajesh D. What a headache that was. I needed a quote for the cost of a spare key for my Chevy Spark, they were hesitant to give me a simple quote just because "my car has never been serviced at their dealership before" meaning I had never spent money at their dealership before so.never going back there and I do not recommend it

Communication between customer and shop is poor at best. Information given by receptionist has been what can be described as guessing at best and waiting for a return call from a service advisor - well I’m still waiting.
Fortunately the the work performed by the shop has been good.

Eagle ridge GM Chevrolet have on many occasions demonstrated and provided professional and flawless services for me since 2016. The routine service of my 2012 Chevy Cruze was always on point. The consistency in excellent service delivery fuels up my interest to trade-in my 2012 cruze for a new Cruze Premier in 2018. A complete engine change-out was recently done on my car with 100% honour of the warranty coverage. A rental car was provided to cover for this period also. I am highly appreciative of their professional services at Eagle ridge GM Chevrolet all the time.

I called three different dealers you I had never met before. I had already done my research on the car that I wanted to buy. None of the salesman knew this. Two of the salesman wanted to sell me vehicles I had no interest in and they also trashed talked the vehicle I was interested in. John knew all about the car I wanted to buy and when one came in called me directly. I found him the easiest most straight forward salesman I ever dealt with in my life. I would highly recommend anyone to John for the next purchase.

Contacts the dealership asking for the price on a SUV listed on their website with no price. Received 2 email stating it’s available and when did I want to come in and test drive it, do I have a trade so we can start the appraisal process. Pushy sales staff with a penchant for not listening literally only worse dealerships out there Coquitlam Chrysler and Maple Ridge Chrysler.

I took my vehicle in for warranty work in 2019. The dealer fixed the issue, but claimed it was not covered under my warranty, I disagreed, and was told that they would refund the work if I proved otherwise. I found the Canadian service bulletin for the issue (common issue across all GM vehicles) where GM corporate had extended coverage to include my vehicle under warranty (that was still in effect for several more years on my vehicle). Sent this in and was still told "no" I made several more attempts where I literally highlighted the lines in the service bulletin that showed it was covered, but my calls were not returned and my emails unanswered. I decided to give up, and take my business elsewhere.

Fast forward to now, and I catch wind that GM management sent a clear email to all dealers that the issue was covered, I thought I would contact Eagle Ridge to get my invoice and send it to someone at corporate (who wouldn't help me when I originally paid for the repairs) and magically the service rep tells me they can refund me no problem. He has his service manager call me, probably one of the least friendly employees I've encountered at the dealership. She didn't offer any explanation, she didn't offer any apology, she didn't offer a discounted oil change or anything like that for holding my money hostage for 2 years because they weren't able to properly read a GM service bulletin.

Not only will I not return to this dealer, I will not be buying another GM product for my next vehicle purchase in a few months. Maybe I'll try again in ten years if they haven't gone bankrupt by then.

Estimated time with 1h30-2h00 for oil change & tire change. They were just under 1h30.
Waiting room is large, clean, offers free coffee/tea. They also have a shuttle.

Terrible “service” and poor followup after dropping off vehicle for a diagnosis and repair. I was contacted once and even though I called back twice it was only on a third attempt at the end of the day that I learned about the problem and informed I had to bring vehicle back for a repair. The phone system rings endlessly and only after a prolonged period do you get into a voice mail system. Not customer focused. This gets worse. They provided a written estimate for a repair and booked a second appointment. When I showed up the same person who provided no follow up started haranguing me, “Didn’t you read the estimate? We can’t fix this. It will take weeks if we try. We don’t even know much it will cost. ” They had given me a written estimate and said it would take 3 hours! In the finish they wasted my time. If you have a GM vehicle go somewhere else. My other car is an Audi and the dealership is 100% professional. The charge the same diagnostic fee and do the work!

Customer service and professionalism are offered at Eagle Ridge Gm Chevrolet at the highest level. Starting with the reception desk attendant to the engineers and mechanics, the service provided is outstanding. Jonathan and his helpers (Steve) were the two gentlrmen that attended me and unfortunatley I do not recal the name if the nice lady at the reception, but she was attentive to all details as a host and very efficient in organizing a smooth scheduling.
Jonathan is very knowledgeable and patient in explaining me all issues and the progress of the car repair.

I arrived to Eagle Ridge GM Chevrolet in Coquitlam 10 minutes before scheduled time.
The receptionist was very professional and welcoming. All was on the system as per my booking, the services specialist took care of my car exactly at the planned time.

I requested three services at same time: a full check (yearly), as well as “Engine Check” following a board alert light, in addition to periodic oil change.
All services together took around four hours! The service “Edward Anonuevo” provided me clear information about the services, their cost, and their expected duration. He also kept me informed on progress, and confirmed with me at step of the servicing process. All warranties were in the system with their respective expiry date and coverage, so they changed what is required with no needs for any argument what so ever.

“Edward Anonuevo” is a very good listener and experienced “Problem Solver” which helped to fix the car effectively and efficiently.

Took my 2013 Chevy 1500 P/U in for a recall on the air bags, turns out the air bag light was on and wasn't sure if it was related. But I figured they would resolve they issue or look at why it was on while in there? Nope, they didn't even give me a call asking if I wanted to have them look at it. This is a Certified Service Shop? What are they certifying? Not safety that's for sure. How can they let a vehicle leave the shop with an air bag on if there is still codes. How do I know they serviced and fixed the air bag recall if the light is still on? There was no mention of it when I picked up the vehicle and I went to jump into my and it was the first thing I saw. I went back in but being 445pm every one was gone but the receptionist. I talked with the service manager about the vehicle leaving with the air bag light on and was totally blown off saying well come back and will charge you $140 to diagnosis it. Why wasn't this an option when I dropped off the truck and left it with them for (24hrs) ? The $140 isn't the issue, it should have been resolve the first time I dropped the vehicle off. Now a week later my check engine light is on and it's never come on before. Keep in mind this is a truck I bought off them 2 years ago with 70k on it, now it has 85k and I paid extra for extended warranty, paint protect the full meal deal. Never going back to purchase another vehicle or get my vehicle worked on, totally irresponsible of them having a vehicle leave there location with safety issues.

My 2017 Silverado 1500 LTZ 6.2 continues to have problems with shudder, vibration, and rough shifting even after several services at Eagle Ridge GM.
I purchased the truck there just over a year ago after trading in 2 other vehicles, bought the extended warranty and I want the truck fixed!
How many times do I have to go back about the same issue and yet it’s not fixed! I love the truck but it needs to feel safe on the road.
Maybe a full drive train replacement and 100% end-to-end analysis is needed? Help me resolve this GM.

Everyone was friendly and my recall work was completed without a problem. I had to log a request with GM to cover an issue that was just outside of my new car warranty (when I called for the appt I was within the window but my mileage had gone over before I got to my appt). It would have been nice to have had them check on this for me when I booked the appt. GM wouldn’t provide feedback that day and so now I have to take my car back and pay for the diagnostic test (140$ -280$) before GM will decide if they will cover the issue. Apparently they are aware of this issue with 2018 Bolts (blind spot detector not working) but I’ve got to pay to diagnose it, and take 2 more days away from work to get it diagnosed and then fixed. Plus I still don’t know if GM is going to cover it. Saying they will do what they can to be helpful and actually being helpful are two different things. But the staff at Eagle Ridge were friendly at least…

I left my car to fix an issue on the driver’s seat. They were quick to find and we just had to wait for the part to arrive. When arrived, the car was ready in no time. I also have to point the great customer service that Brendon provided answering my questions and providing updates.

Unbelievably difficult. I have TRIED to collect info about different vehicles so I can figure out what I want to buy. The salesman has absolutely no idea about the features of what he is selling and gave me wrong info 3x already. Poorly trained and informed. His only interest is to force me into a test-driving a vehicle and to buy it regardless of the fact that I am looking for specific characteristics. Anyway - just spent $85k at a different dealership. Here is some advice: Train your salespeople about the products they are trying to sell and teach them to listen.

Good maintenance snd service, but they put an authorization hold on my credit card for a full day after I'd paid. It seriously inconvenienced me, and management seemed oblivious to it when I contacted them. I don't plan to return.

We would highly recommend Eagle Ridge GM! Awesome service. Ehsan was great! Very easy to talk to and not pushy at all! He was very honest and helpful. The vehicle we purchased had accidentally been posted with a much lower price. Even though is was worth a few thousand more, they stood behind their add and gave us the lower price! We were very impressed!

This is our third vehicle we have purchased or traded from eagle ridge, every time has been a great experience. This time we were helped by Pi, he was excellent help. Walked around the lot a couple times, Pi listened to what we were looking for and pointed us to the perfect car, which we rolled away with today. Sara in finance was also great and clear with the details. Both chatted with us while waiting for the car to be ready. It felt like like a day hanging out, instead of being pushed like other dealerships can be. Thanks again Pi and Sara!

Really bad experience. Twice. I gave them another chance just because they were close to my home, regret it. I urge everyone at this dealership to take Customer Service 101 classes. Fellow customers.go to Preston or Barnes Wheaton, wayyy better, faster and quality service. You and your time is respected there. Eagle ridge gm don’t care.

I came too Eagle Ridges service department this morning at 8: 30 i needed a new battery and an oil change, they got everything done in an hour and a half, + changed my cabin filter and pumped all my tires up do the correct pressure. There driver steve gave me a ride home, and also picked me up I sat in the back of the vehicle with a mask on. The battery itself was a little on the expensive side but other than that good work.

I booked a check-up service two days prior to the actual visit since I had the check-engine sign on. I met a Service Supervisor, Brendan who was kind enough to explain the expected procedure and timeline. Once the check-up was finished, I was briefed the result and the fix was done at a reasonable cost. I’m quite satisfied with the experience this time.

When I give it five stars I mean the service department. They get the job done quickly and keep me advised of any problems.
I can’t read the sales department is high because I’ve tried to buy two trucks there and they always screw it up.

These people are the best! Not only were the cheapest on the entire mainland for an oil change, there customer service skills are through the roof!
when I got the call my vechile was ready I was phoned by the most respectful and kind young man who went over everything on the phone with me in detail so much of the millimeter of my brake pads and tires. I was blown away and couldnt believe how incredible I felt knowing this dealership cares and not only says it they prove it all the way! I will be a coustomer for life.
(and yes I was so impressed and happy I went straight to the manager and told how impressed and happy I was with the service department)
pat yourselves on the back you guys went above and beyond thank you again it's a nice feeling knowing that companies like this still around! And I wont be going anywhere else for anything to do with my vechile.
