I got surgery today for my varicose vein removal, the staff who cared for me were awesome, I forgot a few of the nurses names (they were all awesome), but I remember Sandy’s name and I think Christy was her name. Shout out to the anesthesiologist and Dr. Launcelott, what a great team!

My dad was discharged from the hospital without his morning dose of Paxlovid! They told me they would fax the prescription to the pharmacy but they did not. I had to pick up the paper copy from my dad after he was transported back to his retirement home. He missed his morning dose and Paxlovid needs to be taken 2 times a day at the same time each day! Thevdischarge nurse told me they will give him his morning dose before discharging him! Now it will be 2 pm before he gets his first dose! I tried calling the ER to confirm if he got his morning dose or not because my dad said he did not receive it. No one answers the phone! Very distressing! What is the Healthcare system coming to?

Worst service in the lower mainland. They kick me out for no reason at the hospital when I needed more treatments. From the room that I was in, I recommend you not to go to this hospital at all.

I sat until 730am until 3 pm To be looked at they keep bumping people our system is broken

I've posted once before several months ago but never heard anything from it and just recently one year passed since my visit to ERH E. R.
I was being treated for dehydration, and on my second bag of fluids when my heart crashed, and I went into cardiac arrest. Unbeknownst to me I had just suffered a ruptured aorta aneurysm and would require immediate heart valve replacement surgery. For that I would need to be transferred to. RCH where a surgeon would be waiting for my arrival. Problem is I was unstable for transport and my heart would require resuscitation four times. Long story short and my surgeon fully agrees, I am alive today because of the amazing medical care and attention I received by amazing medical professionals here at Eagle Ridge Hospital emergency ward. I can't thank you enough and I am aware of all the resources and effort it took to keep me alive. Someone or some people gave me a lot of cpr and simply just did not give up. For that I thank you. Keeping me stable and transferring me to Royal Columbia Hospital was life-saving. The task seemingly was monumental. I still had a long way to go but as I said. I am alive today, because of amazing medical care And attention given to me at Eagle Ridge Hospital. I thank you and my family Thanks you.

Strongly don’t recommend this place for any path unit stuff. Nurses don’t change diapers when needed as they have “designated times” for that…. So you will just sit in your own filth. The physio is a group and some people need different treatments. Won’t let my dad walk to keep his legs working even through Royal columbian was letting him walk…just terrible place

My recent visit to Eagle Ridge Hospital's Emergency Room in Port Moody left a positive impression. Despite the unfortunate circumstances that brought me there, the staff's professionalism and attentiveness were truly commendable. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with empathy and prompt care.

The waiting area was clean and well-organized, and the medical team worked efficiently to assess my condition. Their clear communication and willingness to answer my questions helped alleviate my concerns. Despite the busy environment, I felt like I was treated as an individual, not just another patient.

The entire process, from registration to evaluation and treatment, was smooth and well-coordinated. While no one wants to find themselves in an emergency situation, the experience at Eagle Ridge Hospital's ER reassured me that I was in capable hands. Kudos to the dedicated healthcare professionals who make a difference during critical moments.

I gave Eagle Ridge five stars only because six stars wasn’t an option. From reception to admittance, to pre op to recovery the attitude of staff couldn’t have been better.this at a time when the entire hospital was going through the first complete computer upgrade in Provence. Once in recovery I had to remind myself the the staff were dealing with a stranger, not a member of their family. Job well done

Waiting time average in ER is 11 hours in a G7 country is SCANDAL.

I was very impressed with my visit. The hospital staff were great and I was met by a very nice volunteer who took me to the location of where I was getting my test. This is a very nice small hospital.

The ER is a joke. 7 yo had a laceration and couldnt stop the bleeding for 2 hours. Waited nearly 7 hours with people with having lesser injuries getting ahead. Enquired with nurses and response was "u hv to wait for hours" " keep waiting you are on the list". The room quiet down at 1am with around 5 people but we were still put down the order. Finally walked out because child was too tired and the bleeding finally stopped and went home writing this review at 3 am. Worst experience ever with a hospital.

Wait time was reasonable, staff professional, ER procedure (stitches) performed quickly and efficiently by nurse.

I had the most positive surgical experience at this hospital. From the minute I walked in everyone was kind and friendly. My post op team was wonderful, Dr Viscontas my hip surgeon was amazing and Dr. Mohamed Ali the anesthesiologist were fantastic. The post op nurses were so kind and attentive and very helpful. Thank you to all.

Even though they're so busy and overrun, their ER and staff (from admin to physician) are absolutely wonderful. Thorough, and patient/calm bedside manner. Thank you so much!

Very friendly staff that care about the patients and service. Hard to beleive this is a 40yr old hospital with how well it is maintained. I found the emergency has always been quick and attentive to the best of their abilities despite there being a shortage of Healthcare staff.

I would give a zero star if I can. We took an ambulance in the evening because it was an emergency. The ER doctor diagnosed it with a mild flu/food poisoning. Came back home early in the next morning because all they could do was give her morphine and gravol but had to go back the next day because the pain was getting worse. Diagnosed with another illness for a day but misdiagnosed AGAIN. Now she is still in the hospital getting other examinations done but I don't think I can trust doctors at eagle ridge. They misdiagnosed TWICE already.

I tried asking the nurses for the name of the doctor but they repeatedly told me they don't know which doctor was working. How can the nurses not know who was on shift?

Had surgery there yesterday the surgery dept staff were absolutely amazing! Post surgery I had some issues such as major nausea and breathing and pain! Each and every person there was totally on board! Helpful and empathetic all along. Making me feel better and admiring how they were indeed a team and worked very hard. I am a volunteer in the other Fraser Healh hospital and see this every day. But when I am he patient the viewpoint is totally different. I see how hard they work and let be what they do through the hard and good and keep all of us with hugs and smiles! We are so lucky to have such kind and generous people in our community! Bravo general surgery and surgical day care!

Visited for echocardiogram. Had some trouble locating the right room as you need to go to imaging first to register then get paperwork and go back to cardiology. I don’t know why I went to the laboratory first, it’s confusing then was sent to cardiology who sent me to imaging.

Anyway the nurses ensure people are not standing too long in queues before helping them. There was someone to guide people getting lost as we were leaving. That would have been helpful as we were entering. The guest services had a lineup when we arrived.

Long line at entrance for parking which is right across your way when you’re leaving. I recommend move it indoors on the other side of guest services.

Anyway, the nurses are kind and helpful. I didn’t feel uncomfortable there and overall things are bright and well organized at cardiology.

This is not my experience but so horrified by the story I just found out of a 82 year old man, recovering from Covid, has cancer, and his room mate beat him! No one came, no one, finally they found him, cleaned him up and no one ever came again thorough out the night to check on him…. What has this world turned into? Why do we pay such high taxes? Don’t take your family there, ever!

Waited 8 and a half hours in the emergency room last night, kept getting passed by people who came after us and had less serious issues.nurse told me i seem fine and have the flu if i dont want to wait and go home to take advil.we asked for advil after waiting 8 hours there and me almost passing out.finally saw a doctor at 4am and found out i have pneumonia.if i had went home it would have been very bad.was a nightmare night and do not recommend.

You can show up with an actual emergency and people with the sniffles or a bruised knee will be seen before you, after hours of waiting. Shocking.

I can't believe our tax dollars pay for this. We are getting nothing for our money and nobody's doing anything about it.

WOW! This is a 1st Class facility. From the time I dropped myself off at the Emergency entrance, I have received nothing less than first rate service. I was totally impressed! The Doctors, Nurses, Nurse Assistants, Clerks, and House Keeping should all receive an award for the work they are doing. I can't say enough about Dr. What's Her Name, Colin, Orlando, Sarah, Arnold, Scott, Mary, Nikki, and the rest of her Team.

My 11 year old daughter's physical therapist said to go to emergency and get a xray for a possible break in her foot. The whole episode including X-ray and seeing the doctor was just a little over an hour. I was expecting four hours. Super fast and friendly doctor and nurses.

Thanks for your services, best medical treatment and all nurses and dr.s and all staff were angel I am not even exaggerating, not only saved his life but also very kind, We had to call ambulance for my husband I just regret myself for not catching paramedics and firefighters name who came in fast and help us specially a gentleman who came in first I wish I know his name, a real angel.

My wife was waiting in the emergency room for almost 3 hrs on Jan 08,2023 to see the doctor there due to her foot injured. Dr. Wood was spent not even 5 min to check her foot and the X-Ray (on his desk) and said no broken bone and let her home. 3-day later we went to RCH to have a CT Scan and Dr.at RCH shown us there is a crack in her bone foot. Dr.at RCH informs Dr. Wood about the crack he found and Dr.now text back and said oh yes he found another 2 cracks on the X-Ray. What type of Dr is Dr. Wood? Why he's so busy on the phone while working in the emergency room and did not care about his patient? I don't think he's qualified for this position. What if his patient is his relative, or his wife or his kids?

If this hospital is short of staff, please shut down this hospital. We were waiting at the emergency room for 6 hours.

My sister and I were waiting over 4 hours in emergency still they were ignoring us this is so shameful can’t believe this I don’t recommend this hospital to anyone

Used to trust this hospital. What happened? Similar to the bad reviews. Wait times so long people coming in 2 hours after you waiting go in and have less injuries. Finally got to room waiting for doctor but absolutely no one comes by for hours. Many patients waiting and staff, doctors and nurses all standing around joking and socializing. We walked out and went home. They said ok bye bye. These health care worker should be ashamed.

Monday morning fell in the shower broke a bone in my knee & fractured my back. The staff in emergency were so Kind & Caring, felt that I was in good hands! Thank You️
