Early Bird Family Farm

I attended one of the workshops at the farm recently and was blown away with natural beauty of the place, wonderful hospitality by the owner Barb. Highly recommend visiting this place for an event or longer stay as it is tranquil, beautiful and you may also enjoy Barb's one of Barb's animals that are there.such as goats, geese, dogs.just an amazing experience.

I’ve worked with Barb on a few workshops and am looking forward to doing more in the future.

I contacted Barb through a cold email when a friend suggested Sage and Solace to me as a location for my art classes.

Barb was willing to take a chance on working with me and was very accommodating from the start! I’m thankful to have found this gem of a location and am excited to collaborate on more creative ventures.

I have had the pleasure of going to the serene Sage and Solace Farm several times as a photographer and each time has been just amazing. From the moment you arrive, Barb is there to warmly greet you with open arms and guide you to where you need to go, whether you are a vendor or honoured guest. Each event is wonderfully thought out, from the initial planning and communication, to the execution itself. Barb’s heart for hosting and bringing people together is undeniable, as is her passion for wellness. Not only is this a gorgeous venue for events and workshops, but also has a STUNNING vacation rental. This magical space checks off every box, I cannot recommend it enough!

Barb and her team were absolutely wonderful to work with to set up the venue space and catering for large working meeting. The inside venue was beautiful for our meeting (great idea for the flower wall) and her son-in-law led a wine tasting in the exterior barn space.

I definitely recommend the venue for a corporate meeting.

Wow! This farm is incredible and Barb is so personable and amazing. The energy and vibe of the whole place is just so joyful and comfortable. I attended a dried flower Christmas ornament class which was awesome, and the bonus were the dogs and 7 puppies. I’d recommend anything happening on this farm… from workshops to events to the Airbnb! Five stars from me!

The Sage & Solace farm was one of the most charming places I was lucky to stay at! I especially loved the interior design, which has a lot of details carefully thought out, the décor is both rustic and elegant, while the space itself is modern and functional. We had the best time wandering amongst the beautiful nature and animals on the property. You'll want to take pictures all day long, it's a perfect getaway!

Stayed at Sage and Solace for a few nights and it invigorated my mind, body and spirit! The property features a beautiful 20 acre natural setting that simply cannot be captured entirely from the pictures in the airbnb ad. It was a delightful surprise to arrive there and discover this! It was also a huge perk to be able to use the outdoor spaces there.

The setting is ideal for rest, relaxation and enjoying nature!

For my few days that I stayed there, there was very little need to leave the property as there was so much to experience there. My friend and I walked around, meditated and stretched on the soft, well-kept grass in the shade. We spotted owls, horses, baby ducks and goats, beautiful butterflies and so much more! There are many nice spots to sit and reflect upon the beauty of the natural setting. In the evenings we sat at the fire pit by the pond and my friend played her hand-pan drum. There were many other wonderful songs of nature which I heard. Listening in on the croaking of the frogs in between periods of total silence of the night was hilarious too.

The hosts were absolutely lovely people, and all the staff I encountered were very accommodating and friendly to us! Barb has amazing pieces of her art tastefully decorating the suite!

And it cannot be forgotten how impressive Zeus and Xena, the two large dogs who guard the property are! They are such good dogs and dedicated in protecting the guests and all those who call the property their home.

This leads me to one of my favourite aspects about my stay which was that the sounds of nature that can heard at various periods of the day. The suite was so quiet at times that there were many times I felt pure peaceful bliss accompanied by only bird song! At night I could sometimes hear packs of coyotes howling in the distance, and when I did soon after I would hear the barks of the dogs warning any intruders that it would be unwise to venture too close. Needless to say I always slept well on those nights!

There's so much more positive things to say but I'll leave it for others to discover themselves. I absolutely loved staying here!

We hosted our wedding ceremony & reception at the Farm and couldn't have asked for a more scenic and charming venue. Thank you Barb & Karl for sharing your piece of heaven with us and our guests!

My husband and I have been planning a post-covid celebration at Sage and Solace! We have absolutely loved working with Barb in this process. She has been nothing but accommodating to us and has so much knowledge on how to use the farm for its best! The property is stunning with so much to see and endless uses! Every time we go there's something new. Highly recommend Sage and Solace for any and all events!

My then-fiancee and I absolutely loved Sage and Solace. We were here for a couple of occasions (date night, wedding ceremony, and AirBnb stay) and enjoyed every moment of our stays! Barb's farm is a gorgeous location for a wedding ceremony, and she was helpful and responsive when we were planning it out.

There are chickens wandering the flowers and goats in the field along with two extremely friendly dogs as well (no worries, the dogs are inside during large events). The flowers are beautiful with consistent and seasonal variations as we were there for July and September. If you're looking for a beautiful wedding venue without a need for decorations, we highly recommend Sage & Solace

My husband and I had a delightful stay at this beautiful farm. The gardens, the pond, the trees (especially the willows!) were all a feast for the eyes—and spirit! Sage & Solace has wonderful events which you will hear about if you follow them online, but I was mostly intrigued by the fact that everywhere you went there was a surprise to behold: carvings, vintage objects, bird houses. I could go on and on, but instead encourage you to go experience it all for yourself.

I just realized I did not talk about the stunning suite, lol. A vintage vibe with modern conveniences describes it perfectly, with a gorgeous view wherever you cast your sight.

Amazing stay! The light is so beautiful in the morning. The rolling hills, flowers and wild chickens make this a hidden gem.

We had our General reveal here this past Saturday and can not say enough about how incredible the farm was! Barb was there every step of the way to answer any questions, walk us through the farm, as well as helping out on the actual day to ensure everything went smoothly! And it was the most incredible experience ever.

Visited early bird family farm to do a pumpkin donation drop off in the beginning of November, very kind ladies told us about the farm operations and welcomed us to view the goats, chickens, and geese on the property which seem very happy and well cared for.very lovely dogs hanging out as well.they grow all organic cut flowers too and have a beautiful garden.
