We stopped by this store to see what would be the game options for the split screens games that 2 people can play together, and there was a nice lady who patiently showed and described each game to us.

As a company EB Games is a dumpster fire that's been burning too long. Their trade in programs are highway robbery and an absolute joke. However, my local EB Games location is staffed by wonderful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. I just wish Canada had another chain of video game stores, other than EB Games, then all the passionate video game lovers could work at a better place.

Week later they approved exchange and gave me credit only for $7.

EB games could not hold off selling PS5 before its official pre-order launch date therefore instore customers could no pre-order the console.

EB games is stating its now solely an Online store with this practice and therefore is not worth your time or effort going to support them.

Five stars for the friendly and knowledgable staff at Coquitlam mall location. Store size is too small for peak traffic, avoid completely during consumer holidays. Two stars for the company as a whole. Hiring gamers is the smartest thing EB Games could do. The 11am employee January 21 2020 completely changed my purchase decision based on crucial information that no big box retailer could give me. I shop here for the customer service and selection.

I brought in 8 games that I wanted to trade in

Keep in mind 6 of these 8 were good triple a titles that would go for a at least $30 per game on eBay or Craigslist. They offered me $11.00 for all of them.
I can’t stand how much of a rip of this place is. There basically swindling people. Though staff are usually pretty informative and can be friendly. Would not recommend for trading in games.

Actually game lines are not cheap, however, other lines like character mugs or wallets are reasonable and fantastic!
This is a good place to buy presents for your kids.

Great selection of new and used games for possibly the best price around. With friendly staff and a ton of cosmetic geek items, its truly a fun environment to visit.

The EBGames in Coquitlam Center has the best and most friendly employees. I bypass the Pitt Meadows one for this one every time. Its clean, its friendly and helpful. Definately recommended!

I AM ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED.
I bought Tomb Raiders and Call of Duty for a gift for my husbands birthday. I was offered to buy one $14.00 less for a used one. Since it was a gift I thought I would buy the brand new one. He opened up Call of duty the next day and it was on line and not what he wanted. I gave him the original receipt that I paid $185 for 2 games. (I paid $3 extra for the warranty) and he returned it today. Because the wrap was not on it they gave him $30, I paid $90. Because the wrap was off and it was not played it cost $60? They will turn around and sell this as a used game for $76.

I will NEVER buy from there again and I will be telling everyone I know family, friends, coworkers and clients not to buy anything from there. All my friends that have kids will hear about this. This is absolutely disgusting.

I'm addicted to this store and all the unique treasures you can find here! There is SO much more than a great selection of new and used games!
