Sandra, my stylist is amazing. She is so talented. Her personality and attention to detail make her the best choice for a hair stylist. She listens to her clients and also makes suggestions based on her experience.

The ladies there are fabulous every time I'm there. They let me bring my daughter in one day. I've been coming to this location for so many years.

The 1 star review is for their website. To purchase online, It gives you the option to 'pick up' in the store for free, however, it does not matter which product you pick, it says unavailable for store pick up and for shipping they charge 10 bucks. I would understand certain items being unavailable for store pick up, however, every item is 'unavailable' which makes it obvious it's just a way to force you to pay for shipping. I have been to this salon in the past and no complaints there.

Booking the apt was fairly easy, they accommodated me to come in the next day after work. I had the pleasure of Jane cutting my hair, and I liked the way the cut turned out for coming to a random spa where I was given a gift card for 3 years prior.

Jane was very personable. We chatted quite a bit during the cut. The atmosphere was average which is why I'd give it a 4/5. It wasn't super busy on a Monday, so it's nice for a relatively last minute cut.

Friendly service she gave me lots of extra treatments for an extra $25. Totally worth it. My face feels so smooth and shiny

I can’t say enough good things about master stylist Laura. She is honestly the hair stylist every woman hopes for. Not only is she incredibly talented she is also such a bubbly pleasure to be around. As a long haired girl (To my tail bone and beyond) I trust very very very VERY few people with my hair because it takes sooo much time and effort to grow and care for. Not many stylists understand how to work with long hair and for some it can be overwhelming. I whole heartedly trust Laura with my hair. She truly takes the time to understand what your hoping to achieve and delivers. From her scalp massages, to the symmetry/shaping in her cuts, to her voluminous silky blow outs. I am just so impressed. Treat yourself and sit in her chair.she definitely won’t disappoint!

Eccotique Spas & Salons provides excellent hair services. My hairstylist, @hairby.sandraa, is the master hair colour scientist and she gave me a classy, no-fuss and angled-bob hair style that fit my needs. I like not spending too much time on my hair and can just go on with my day. Most importantly, I like they use products that are safe on my scalp. I highly recommend this salon.

My wife was in the store at 2: 00 pm Oct 11 2020 to have her eye brow waxing and was about to purchase kerastase hair treatment products. The lady at the front desk was very rude toward my wife for no reason. She even recommended my wife to go to Sephora to purchase the product because she does not seem to be interested in serving her. My wife just want to purchase the product since Sephora did not have what she need. My wife has been purchasing a lot of products in her salon too. With such treatment, I strongly DO NOT recommend anyone to come to purchase anything in her store. She even said that she would block my wife email so that she cannot complaint. I don't think we will be coming back for business ever again.

We booked for a couples (double) manicure and had so much fun! The area was very quiet and private and our nail Technicians were very friendly and experienced. They even offered to paint my partners nails and really made him feel special on his birthday. I am beyond impressed with the comfortable and professional atmosphere.

I used to be a loyal customer and frequently had my eyebrows and upper lip waxed. My first esthetician was a girl named Pauline who did amazing eyebrows each time. I was so sad the day I called to book an appointment and was told she had left Eccotique to work downtown. I honestly thought I would never find anyone else who compared. But then I was introduced to Maria, who truthfully did even better. She was so sweet and delivered exceptional customer service. I saw Maria for years! Sadly a few months ago she had to retire due to hand pain. Since then my luck and satisfaction with the company has gone down dramatically. It's nearly non existent at this point.

After Maria I was booked with a girl who J was told was new but very good. Well, the day of my Valentine's Day dinner with my boyfriend this girl ripped the skin off of my lip. I sat in bed crying and trying to ice my lip because it was Valentine's day and my boyfriend had planned out a huge surprise. I was also CHOKED. I called in and complained and they apologized and said my next visit would be comped.

For my next visit I was booked with someone who they said was more senior. I could tell she had more experience and for my next four or five wax sessions they went well. Then came my wax appointment today on June 9th. THE SKIN UNDER MY RIGHT EYEBROW IS MISSING. No, I have made absolutely no changes to my diet or my skin care. There is no reason for my skin to be more susceptible to ripping off. I am SO disssapointed with the lack of skills that the current staff have at the metrotown location.

I highly recommend LAVINA. She is nice and takes care of your skin very nicely. I visit there many times, but this was my best experience ever. If you wanna go for waxing always choose Lavina. Thanks.

I've been going to Natasha at Eccotique for about 3 years now. She always makes my hair look amazing. I highly recommend her. I also love how they have a points system there not only on how much you spend there but you get rewards for referring people too. They have reasonable prices for a great experience!

This was my first time here and had a wonderful experience! My color turned out better than I expected and Natasha G was the best at explaining everything and making sure I was extremely satisfied. I also love that they have a points program where you can earn points towards discounts off products or services. I will definitely be booking a follow up.

My lady friend attended for a Keratin treatment last week. When booked her appointment she was quoted 250$ approx. She ended up paying 400$ plus taxes!
They get you in, then they gouge you! Its wrong business, dont do it!

Service is great and staff are really nice and attentive. Their membership program is really good too.

For the past few years, Jane has been my hairdresser. She is very good, experienced and pays attention to detail. The price if the cut includes a shampoo wash and blow dry. If you like style and willing to pay, this is the place to go.

I came in twice for gel manicure. The first time I forgot book for add in removal service so the girl keeps saying she doesn't have time which I understand. The second time I booked add in removal with the service and the girl keeps saying because i got gel from somewhere else, they don't do removal and also she doesn't have enough time to do it. I am very upset and told her just to remove the polish and quick clean up if she can/ have time since i was already there. I wish they say they don't do removal from other salon on their booking website because its very misleading. I still give them 2 stars coz i have good experience with them before with another technician.

I booked my appointment well in advance for a shellac application, only to find out by the rather rude receptionist that there was no record of it, and the nail lady had left for the day. Instead of trying to come up with a way to help the situation, she repeatedly accused me of booking with the wrong location. I even told her the women on the phone had told me this eccotique was near The Bay and showed proof of my phone call history. My experience here today (october 8 at 7 pm) was terrible and I do not reccommend coming here for any salon needs

This is my fourth time visiting the location by the bay and I keep getting a consistent result:) first visit was because my hair was fried from being too bleached out and they recommended kerastase treatment which the next day literally my hair felt healthier and smoother.second time i came for hair color and treatment with a cut as well, i was really happy with the result. The third time was just buying their products.fourth time, i came for the hydrafacial.compare to other places like body bar laser coquitlam and SKN yaletown, this one is much more detailed and it actually took longer than the other places. This place really took their time to clean up your face and do way way more proper procedure.i see more results here.

I went in for a hair cut with reference photos. I wanted a textured bob which is what I had before it was just grown out. My hair got butchered. I basically left with a mullet with really awkward layers looking like an emo dude from 2005. There were huge gaps of hair missing from around my ears and she made the front so short I can hardly tuck the front behind my ears.

I thought maybe she styled it weird so I went home and tried playing with it and was almost in tears. I called the next morning and was hesitant to come in and let someone else fix it (Sandra was awesome and did a great job for what she had to work with) and she had to cut the back right off. It still looks ridiculous and I have to clip the sides up or it looks dumb. I’m a stay at home mom, getting my hair cut is a luxury and not something I have a lot of money to spend on. My only solution to get it fixed is to throw some extensions in the sides so It doesn’t look ridiculous anymore but it’s coming with a $120 price tag which really sucks.

I’m pretty choked and am basically never getting my hair cut again. I’ve worked with salons (I do make up) and have never seen a hair cut this terrible it doesn’t even make sense.

Screwed up my wife’s hair. She cried about it. Paid for a master stylist. Awful. Still charged her even when she went back to fix it and the other stylists we amazed how poorly it was done.

Poor costumer service color faded in one wash don’t know how to speak. Allysa spoke to me and aSked me to leave the store and told me I was harrasing her. Just because they couldn’t fix my hairs I was late for my appointment but i called them ahead and my stylist told me she would be there until 7 at 6: 45 she was not in store and she was threating me of kicking me out of the store because of there quality of products my color faded in first wash. Never go there poor salon and products

I went there once and that's my last time. I asked for a light brown color for my dark brown hair and the stylist ended up with black color and said it will fade after shampooing two to three times. It's been 5 months and it's still blaaaack. I hate it. The stylist was so talkative and recommended me different products and sadly convinced me I should buy them if I want my damaged hair to be healthy again. I ended up paying 350$ for the color and products. Unfortunately none of the products worked for me. Not only I do not recommend this salon but also warn you going there. The staff were nice but not very friendly. My worst experience ever.

Came here to get gel polished removed and new gel nails. Great customer service from the lady in the front and the one who did my nails. I like how gentle they are with my nails. My nails looks really good too!

I went there to colour my hair. I asked for the price first. It was about $80. Ended up it costed me more than double about $200 for just colouring. The stylist who did my hair added some products while shampooing claiming that it would help protect my hair with extra cost added that I didn't know and she didn't ask me first whether I wanted it or not. I thought the price she told me at first included everything. So it was a big surprise when the bill showed at the end. Plus when doing my hair she wanted to show off her skill by criticizing my previous hair colour and kept switching talking with me one sentence and her fellow stylist another sentence non stop which I found it's not polite and annoying. When my hair was done she tried to sell more products to me to take home. It was a very disappointing visit. I felt I was cheated. Not even a star for this place.
