Your support teacher at the school Mr. O’Donnell is an absolutely terrible man, I watched him pick apart a student and bully her for needing support from a counsellor and refused to let her bring her things with her, he tried to keep her in the class and holding anyone against their will Especially a teacher to a student is illegal.

I had an experience here with a teacher named Rose Daigle.
She came through a course I was teaching. She did nothing but complain about her job and proceed to make fun of certain students even going as far as to call them c***s.
It was disgusting to listen to her and she was a horrible person to have to teach. Other students also complained about her behavior in the course.
I would never want someone teaching my kids who referred to them as c***s. Just disgusting.

I Know schools still out for summer vacation, but when you need your Childs school records during a work week for transfer, and you call all five different school extension lines, P, Vp, Vp, front desk, VP, VP and till no answer and have to call the main school district just to pass a message and they confirm some one is supposed to be answering at main front desk and there is no answer you know there is a communication problem, and not on the parents end.
Still waiting for a call back.

Honestly I started attending this school because it was the only high school I could choose…. Yes Mission (a city) has only one high school. I’ll start by saying the school is old and needs serious restructuring. It would be best if they made a new school entirely, but looks like it’s delayed for another 6years, great huh. Not only that but there is a serious lack in educational progression. In that sense I mean that there aren’t at all very many programs or higher level classes for students to choose from. As someone who’s trying to become a doctor it’s beyond annoying. The only place I’d give this school a 4 star is for the staff. The staff is fabulous, but the school itself and the stuff we are learning is seriously lacking. They have literally crammed an entire city’s future generation into one school. Honestly I’m the happiest I have ever been after switching schools. In fact I’ve gotten into an amazing school with an available IB diploma program, MSS doesn’t even run regular AP courses. Maybe it’s because of lack of demand but I have at least 15-20 friends who’d be interested in higher level courses which already should contradict that concept of lacking demand. I think that the only thing I’d ever miss about MSS is my friends and a few amazing staff members. My socials, science and math teachers were amazing. That is really the only reason I’m giving mss the 2 stars. Otherwise I’d give it 0/5. If you’re in mission, we should speak up about creating a high school fitting for our quickly growing city. If you ever have to go to MSS I’m sorry…. The adults aren’t doing much for our educational progression. On another note if you plan to go to a good university after high school, I’d really suggest that you find a school in Abbotsford, if you can.

Mission Senior Secondary School was a great place to go to in 1963. I remember getting the strap for smoking on school property. I loved the store near by. They would sell a bag of fries for 10 cents and 2 cigarettes for 15 cents. That was the best time ever.
