Edmonds Urgent and Primary Care Centre at PrimeCare Medical

I was in a sporting Accedent. Need stitches on my face. They helped me right away. I am Soo thankful. I wish we had more of these. Thank you Soo much Isabella and the rest of the staff.

Actually should be no star, terrible service, not qualify to serve us, took us 2 hours to call end up gave up, when we arrived there, two girls were chatting at front desk, we told them the hours we spent on calling and they didn't care, one of the girls trying to look away and pretend working.the service hours are terrible too not accurate

The staff are simply the best here. They even stayed on the line to help me find parking. Called to let us knw about a potential delay.

Staff at the front desk are organized andriendly. Nurse and doctor are super professional.

I had a wonderful experience getting my burn wound dressing done here. The whole team were amazing, from the Front desk staff to the nurse they couldn’t be more helpful and knowledgeable. I can tell with certainty It was the best front desk experience at a medical clinic so far.

We had 2 visits to this center over past few months. Their procedure is simple and efficient, and we got the needed urgent medical assistance on time. Thank you.

Horrible! They did not tell us there was no doctor on duty when we checked in. There was only a nurse who could not write prescriptions. Another patient had to tell us we were wasting our time. We had waited for over an hour, but others had been there over 2 hours. When we asked, they said “didn’t anyone tell you there is no doctor? ” NO! Otherwise we would have left! The entire waiting room left in anger. This is horrible health care. How did this happen?

Needs improvement! While the facility, is close to amenities such as some grocery stores, restaurants, etc. The Wait times are too long and most importantly the staff needs more training on Customer Service. I noticed a bit of an attitude when asking basic questions about my personal well-being Would definitely question their logic before deciding to go back to them.

I went to see doctor today. Dr Marthyman is so caring and understandable doctor.
He listens my each and every words patiently. I wish i could make him my family doctor because every patient dersve this kind of doctor as a family doctor. Beside of this, i found Other staff memebers are so caring.
Thanks to the indian girl and asian nurse for understanding all my problems patiently.

This is NOT a UPCC. It's a private medical clinic. It either operates under the guise of a UPCC or they fraudently acquired a government contract to become one but refuse to operate properly.

You can only see a doctor if they have appointments available (no walk ins). The appointments are a month in advanced and you absolutely require multiple pieces of ID showing you live within 5 km's of the "clinic" and you are forbidden if you don't meet all of those requirements.

Go to the South East UPCC you can walk in, ask for a doctor and actually get one.

I called in due to coughing and fever. Although I didn’t end up being seen by any doctor after triage, the nurse patiently answered all my questions and gave me plenty of suggestions. They’re helpful.

Although we arrived moments before closing, the wonderful staff on duty (Nurse Isabelle and Dr. Wong) agreed to see my son and went above and beyond to help him. Dr. Wong was patient with him, thorough in his exam, and did not rush us at all. He even provided us with many helpful resources so that we can find my son further help. We were very grateful for their help and kindness. Thank you!

Excellent service. Was able to set up same day appointment after confirming my situation via the Nurse Hotline. Clinic was clean. Staff was friendly and efficient. They replaced/sanitized everything after use. Was told to contact this place by my family doctor's clinic. Saw a doctor after 15mins of wait.

Before going to the location call them first to register and be put on the list! The phone line opens at 4: 45 pm. They triage the cases based on urgency, so there is no guarantee you will be seen. I went to the office with a suspected sprained ankle. I went home after calling the number. I was not given an appointment, but one of the nurses called me, took my information and asked me to send photos. The doctor called me around 9 pm and we discussed my injury and I received an X-ray requisition form over email. Overall it was a smooth process, as long as you know what to expect.

Urgent care clinic requires booking an appointment in advance and not booked patients with urgency are not welcome.

Do you call it Urgent? Next time will go to ER and will not call them again, every time i call they tell me “we are fully booked for the next 2 or 3 days! Do you think i’m calling your Urgent clinic to wait 3 days? Ridiculous

When my daughter needed an antibiotic on a Friday evening, the wonderful staff here went above and beyond to help her. We even received a follow-up phone call to see how she was doing. I am very grateful for the compassion and expertise offered to us. Thank-you to your exceptional team who helped us that night: Dr. Parmar, Donna in nursing, and the reception staff.

Sukh - The staff at the front desk was extremely kind to us and showed a lot of empathy to understand our concerns. Checked in frequently, went above and beyond to explain our concerns to the doctor.

Dr S Parmar took time to listen to our concerns and gave excellent care.

Highly recommend calling in and requesting an appointment before going to the clinic. They take you in on the same day ONLY if you have a high priority case.

Was able to make an appointment and be out within an hour. This is for urgent care that helps alleviate strains on our hospitals and I hope we get more of these clinics soon with longer hours.

I was a little floored to see the negative reviews on here so I have to come and defend the Edmonds UCC which is a phenomenal initiative that if utilized properly is an extremely more efficient alternative to the emergency departments.

I do agree that the scheduling of appointments is frustrating and tedious but is a common issue for all UCC's and medical clinics so I don't blame the Edmonds Center for this issue.

The few times I've been here I always have a quick and efficient appointment with a very professional and knowledgeable doctor. The couple procedures I've come in for without an appointment they actually squeezed me in between other patients appointments. Got multiple stitches twice here in a 20min time frame compared to hours of waiting at the hospital ER. So no complaints in terms of service from me.

I only give 4 stars because I would like to see them open for longer hours and be more streamline with there scheduling.

Zero stars. They are just running so called medical clinics to make salaries. It’s ok for doctor here to say you can keep coughing for 4-6 weeks then we can see what medication to recommend or you can come to walk in clinic as this is a urgent care centre BURNABY URGNTLY NEED BETTER DOCTORS AND CLINICS

Called when they opened for an appointment and was booked in later that evening, very friendly staff and nurses. Helped get my tetanus shot done, saw the doctor and was in and out within 10 minutes! Thank you for your hard work especially in these difficult times:)

I usually dont write reviews but I haven’t experienced anything bad. Infact starting from the front desk the receptionist Suhk who helped my mother to the Nurses and the Doctor everyone listened to our concerns with patience. The Doctor was very knowledgeable I can give 10 stars to their service if possible. This was second time of us visiting this urgent care it is closer to our house, I recommend this set-up to everyone instead of waiting in the hospital for hours.

I went here because seven different walk in clinics I contacted this morning were all at capacity and the last one told me to go here. I drove a very long way and the first thing they said when I arrived is that it’s an appointment-only urgent care centre. What?

What was going on with my body was extremely private and when they asked me to describe my problem in front of the other staff and patients, I said I could only tell a nurse. I asked if I could tell someone in a private room. They said to wait in the waiting room. The nurse called my phone number from the waiting room and asked me to tell her on the phone while still in the same room as before. When I said I wasn’t comfortable, she then asked me to go down to my car, but I told her i got a ride so it was not private. She then told me to go to the public washroom down the hall to discuss my medical needs. She told me to get the key from the front desk. I went to the front desk to ask for the key and I started crying by accident. I’ve never been asked by a medical professional to go to a public washroom in the same building to talk about my private and embarrassing medical problem.

They realized that this wasn’t alright, and they brought me into a room to talk. After telling a different nurse, the doctor came in and I told her about my symptoms. She told me that my issue wasn’t enough of an emergency, and that I shouldn’t have come. She literally told me I should not have come and I should have talked to a pharmacist. She wrote me a prescription for the parasite and told me she could have done this over the phone. This experience had me feeling ashamed and traumatized.

I didn't experience anything negative actually, I was a bit worried with the bad reviews. I got bit by a dog and needed a tetanus shot, they got me in within the hour and were quick and helpful. The best clinic experience I've honestly ever had.

Not an urgent care! Has a very slow process. Tried to bring my son, but will have to make an appt, need to speak to the nurse prior to visiting, can be re-routed to a virtual 811 call (very long wait) as per reception. NOT WALK IN. Went to elsewhere instead! Their system is super long and not efficient!

I have had two experiences with this clinic. Both a few months apart, and yet both have been excellent!

In this URGENT care U have to make an appointment to see an Urgent doctor.such a waste of tax payers’s money.

It's sad to see al the bad experiences people have had with this clinic and I think it speaks to our general state of affairs as opposed to any one clinic. I myself have mixed thoughts on this clinic. On the one hand, I too have experienced the "hit and miss" in terms of customer service, phone etiquette, etc.and the logical part of my brain says, may they are just overwhelmed (given the times we live in). On the other hand, the receptionists on the phone have gone above and beyond to accommodate me and my family and the staff has been nothing but professional and kind.
So all in all, no such thing as perfection exists in this world and if you hang onto that you are going to end up with disappointment before you even begin. That being said, their intake process and flow of client care should be re calabrated to address some technical and staffing challenges they face.
A great place I will still recommend to people with the caveat that they understand all clinics, hospitals, etc are strained and service levels, wait times, etc.are greatly impacted.

EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED! They don't deserve even my 1 star at all because of their terrible service. This "urgent care" were referred to me by my walk in clinic because I had a stage 3 burn on my foot which been swollen and built a huge blister which is extremely uncomfortable to walk. During the first appointment, the person name "Em8*ly" told me to wait for the blister to pop without even actually checking the condition of it. So we waited two weeks for the blister to get drained. She also told me that they will apply me for WCB because it is work related accident, I told her that my manager had already applied and she told me "that she doesn't see any claim from my work at all, so she applied for me". Now! Three weeks passed, I called them multiple times to report my status that the blister had popped, however, I COULD NEVER GO THROUGH TO THEIR LINE AT ALL because of the reason that "they are full" or "busy" or "currently assisting other call". I emailed. I cannot leave a voicemail and I keep calling. Finally, someone pick up but only ask me to stay on the line, then after few minutes, they hang up (TWICE!). Day after, my foot starts to swell that it looks like a balloon so I called again hoping that they will finally assist me but only to be told "YOUR CONDITION IS NOT URGENT. THIS IS ONLY FOR URGENT. THEN YET! THEY GAVE ME ANOTHER CLINIC TO CONTACT". Why? I am already in their record and they are already assisted me? Why cant they finish the process until I am fully well. I have to run to the emergency only to know that the wound had already been infected which made my condition worst. WCB contacted me only to let me know that they've placed a request to this clinic to give them a status of my well being, but they never forwarded anything. So again, as much as I dont want to deal with this urgent care anymore, I do not have a choice but to call. I only ask them nicely! To please, give WCB an updated with regards to my record so they can finalize everything but the lady who picked up the call told me, there is no "Emily", they dont cater WCB related injuries and referred me again to another clinic. WHY! I pay much money on my MSP to get a proper assistance and care when I needed help BUT ONLY TO GET THIS KIND OF EXPERIENCE from an URGENT CARE who is not AN URGENT CARE AT ALL. This is very sad and a lost of money for all law abiding citizen who pays medical regularly.

Please! If you do need care! Do not waste your time in this clinic. They will never assist you and point fingers on who does or does not. Have they told me at the very first place to go to the other clinic, I would have not suffered from wound infection at all. This is disappointing and I hope this business gives proper training to their employees.
