I took a hiatus on my dental health and I was hesitant to book something to finally get every addressed. The doctor and the hygienist were thorough and very good about educating without judgement. Beautiful location, very helpful administrative staff and I believe I have found an amazing dentist practice for our entire family to enjoy.

Dr Chow and his team have been nothing less than exceptional in every aspect. His surgical skills are flawless. And very important to me is how he patiently answers all my questions and, when asked, he provides insights from his educations and experience. My children have also had great experiences here.

The whole experience from reception to my visit with De Chow was calm, caring and pleasant. A dedicated staff member asked about any apprehension or concerns I might have; this was unique in my experience. Dr Chow was very careful and precise. A great experience.

Elements Dental is, hands down, the best dentist’s office I’ve ever been a patient of. Top notch service, kind staff who remember your name, and advanced practices. From the reception staff to the dental assistants to the hygienists and the dentists themselves, every person working there is kind, patient and considerate of patient comfort. I’ve had every procedure explained to me in accessible detail and have never felt uncomfortable accessing their services. They have taken my dental health seriously right from the start, even advising on how to adjust things I’ve had other dentists ignore or dismiss, all while keeping in mind cost and patient care. Staff even worked with me on comfort based on my personal needs. I highly recommend Elements Dental to anyone looking for dental care.

My entire family have been treated so well by Dr. Russu over many years now and I only have high praise for her knowledge and care. The Element’s team are all friendly and super efficient plus the office was modern and super clean. A pleasant experience all around!

Beautiful space, wonderful staff, only thing I was dissapointed with is that they literally only counted my sons teeth and charged me. He was scared and they didn’t try to force him to let them clean his teeth, but I didn’t expect to still be charged $90. Everything aside from that was great.

Blown away by this office visit, staff was especially kind and attentive. Dr Chow was so thorough and offered wonderful suggestions. Very impressed with this office, I’ll definitely be back!

Since you can't find me in the system, that makes me extra worried. I came in for a check, was in a lot of pain, asked for advice, tried some services and didn't get any help. I asked for a TMJ assessment and the dentist didn't even check back with me after my last appointment. My review stands. I can add photos of my statements to prove to the general public that I should be in your system.

I was not looking forward to this appointment and almost cancelled a few times, but the silver filling in my molar was cracked and it needed to be done. When I arrived, I said that I was anxious and the Dental Assistant Tara was so compassionate. Very good vibes! She explained everything, took her time, and alleviated a lot of my concerns. She even held my hand during the drilling, which speaks to her kindness.

I called this place with a lot of pain around June 2021, and they set an appointment for August! I waited and visited their office in August! These people never helped me! After over 4 months of going in and out and having different "scans" and "conversations" and zero actions, I ask them to "only cure my pain and infection please asap"! How disingenuous these people are I cannot believe they set 3 appointment (for after Christmas), and without me knowing first one was, yet again, another "scan"!
Doctor Chow is absolutely clueless and helpless! He doesn't have a clue about dentistry and doesn't know what to do! Each time I went in I got a different mood and opinion from him and he was unable to even give me a quote or set a clear plan on what to do! That's why they kept pushing me back!
Finally when they couldn't help me and I was still in pain I asked them to stop and give my money back! They sent me a pdf file called "Final release" and wanted me to sign in front of a witness!
I talked with some law people that I knew and they said that I should avoid signing anything! Now the doctor refuses to give my money back! I will get a pro-bono lawyer and go after them after this school semester!
They took my money easily and happily without doing anything for me! Now they are bullying me and saying, "sign or there will be no money! "
If you are planning to go to this dentist just know who these people are that you are going to be dealing with!
I am still in pain as of December 12,2021, and now with my incomplete money I cannot even start treatment elsewhere!

Amazing clinic with lovely, caring staff. Paige did an incredible job during my hygiene appointment - I highly recommend them to anyone who gets nervous about dental procedures. They made me feel calm and explained everything in detail. Best dental experience I've had in years, thank you.

Elements Dental staff are the best! I’m always treated very well. Dr. Chow is very considerate and willing to take the time necessary to explain all procedures. His staff are top notch and many of them have been there for many years and you can tell they love their jobs. Congrats!

Dr Chow & his staff are fantastic! Highly recommend them to anyone along with my closest friends and family. I have alway had trouble with my teeth so finding a good dentist that I can trust is very important to me. He is thorough, kind, trustworthy and very good at what he does. He doesn't recommend work unless it's necessary, he has your best interest at heart so you can trust him. I'm so happy I found his office after a bad experience with another dentistry office on the Island. On top of that, all the staff are always so kind and welcoming, highly highly recommend! 10/5 stars!

Dr. Russu has a very balanced approached and has been so accommodating and helpful. She is very easy to talk to and kind with her patients. I would highly recommend! Paige is our hygienist and is gentle yet very effective, I love having her do my cleanings! The front end staff is also excellent, helpful, kind and great at what they do. The whole team will make your dental experience a good one!

Everything went fine for the first couple of appointments. Then they wanted to schedule a follow-up right away. I told them in the office I was unable to have another appointment within 2021. I literally just had an two appointments in October, so I didn't think this was unreasonable.

A week later I received another call when I was out-of-province trying to schedule another appointment in a couple of days. I told them there was no way I could make it. Then another appointment was made. Absolutely my fault for not cancelling sooner. I just don't think it is appropriate to have to say no on multiple occasions and still end up with an appointment you have to cancel.

Great customer service & covid protocols. I find teeth cleaning painful in general, but with my Elements hygenist it is great!

Last January I went to have a cavity filled at a different dental practice. The cavity unfortunately needed a root canal after. I had three 1.5-2 hour root canal appointments with the other dental practice until they informed me that my tooth should have been done by a specialist, as it had a complicated root. The appointments were exceptionally painful, long, stressful, and spaced out over several months. All in all I ended up having 9 total appointments at the previous practice, some for work, some for assessment. By the end of the 9th appointment it was frustrating to hear that they shouldn’t have treated me in the first place, and at this point they had actually caused some damage making it harder to treat. The root canal was supposed to be covered by my plan, but the referral to an endodontist was going to be about 2000$. I decided to call around and see if I was able to find another practice that would be able to treat me. The reception team and Elements Dental was lovely, and Dr. Chow was AMAZING! He was quick, the procedure was painless, and I appreciated that he explained what was happening. I felt very nervous going into the appointment, and at ease after Dr. Chow started working. Going to Dr. Chow saved me my tooth and 2000$! Thank you so much, Dr. Chow!

Stay away from these clowns the reception are liars specifically Mara lies to youth on youth agreements aka ministry they will treat you less then human and humiliate you in front of other patients ask you to pay money then call you liars to save their own. Skin just out for the money typical dentist especially in oak Bay if your covered under government stay away discrimation hardcore

Super friendly people and very comfortable surroundings. Knowledgeable, professional and accommodating. I felt well taken care of.

Major work and regular maintenance done for my family by all 3 dentists. Always great work and it was the one place I didn't worry about family getting lots of dental work. They offer full services in one place. Glad to have PRP, CBCT, dentures, orthodontics and everything right there. I previously went to a smaller practice without all of this new technology, but we really needed these and dentists that can do it all. I really appreciated the comprehensive intake exam and feel well taken care of. Lots of extra air filtration since covid, but it was already a nicely renovated space. I like having windows while I'm in the chair. They're understanding about anxiety and I feel they care about my health. They're thorough and patient with all my questions.

I loved Neera & Maria! Dr. CHOW was amazing. Had my wisdom teeth extraction. Fast, painless and comfy. Definitely recommend

It always difficult to find a new dentist when moving, especially when having one for over 15 years. The transition to Dr Chow and his team was seamless! Incredible expertise and knowledge steeped in compassion!

Sincere and caring staff all around. I have had only great service and would highly recommend Elements Dental for their up to date practice and expertise.

I showed up on time but had to wait in a busy front waiting area where a customer was having a discrepancy with his bill. I told the hygienist I have misophonia then she immediately began sniffing loudly to clear her sinuses repeatedly. The dentist was friendly and professional as was the front end staff.

Nara, Paige, Tara and Dr. Chow treated me so well. I travelled quite the distance to see them and will definitely be back. So friendly and caring.

Dr. Ray Chow is an absolute top tier dentist and the staff at Elements Dental are both very competent, yet easy going and friendly.
Due to years of grinding and erosion wear, I required a full rebuild of all my upper teeth and 75% of the bottom teeth. Dr. Chow took into account my biting and chewing tendencies, facial structure, and desired aesthetic (from old photos I had) and rebuilt my entire mouth from scratch. I was blown away with the result. My new teeth look great and feel completely normal, as if I had them my whole life.
