The stylist is fantastic and always enthusiastic. She took time to find an image for my newest look. She’s awesome

I have been coming to elevation for 7 years and been seeing Risako for the majority of that time and have always left completely happy and satisfied with her work.

The vibe of the salon is amazing and the entire crew are extremely welcoming.

Was there less than 15 mins and cancellation charge of almost the full amount of haircut. Was just refused anything. Local who'd not recommend to others.

Booked a couple of hair stylists for my wedding in July. Sarah was amazing and my bridemaids were also very happy with their hairdressers as well. Highly recommend!

Nina is always so amazing, hilarious to chat with, and an absolute perfectionist when it comes to all things hair! Nobody else is allowed to come near me with hair scissors hahaha. 10/10 recommend Nina for any and all of your hair care needs!

All the hairdressers here are super friendly and professional. They do a great job of cutting my hair and that’s why I come back time after time.

I can't say enough good things about this place, best hairdressers in town, Sarah is skilled and knowledgeable with my blonde curls and three weeks on I still love this cut. My go to from now on!

I was nervous going to a new hairdresser but I saw Tarsh today and she quickly made me feel comfortable that she could achieve what I was after.
The toner was spot on. Exactly the blonde I wanted.

Nina is incredible! She’s a goddess with colour and is really good at advising what the best course of action for your hair type is! Never had anything but a great experience at Elevation!

The stylists were helpful in being able to find the right shampoo and conditioner. Sadly, they were booked up and I could not get in for an appointment.

The front desk was incredibly helpful when booking my appointment as I wasn’t sure what I needed to have done. When I arrived for my appointment I was warmly welcomed by the staff. The environment was friendly and up beat from moment I walked in. My stylist Risako was incredible in helping me with my colour choice and matching to my ends, she gave me a great haircut and her demeanour was fantastic. From start to finish I would recommend.

Had my hair done here and the stylists and front desk staff were so accommodating. They are incredibly busy so make sure to book in advance, entirely worth the wait. I come from Vancouver to see these stylists!

I went to there and I showed them the pic that I want them to do it. But after hair cut I look my hair it was such a bad job. 100% my friend or my family can do it way better. It was too short and I think they cut too short for one side and they make it same short. Im super super upset. I don’t think I’ll ever take off my hat.

I went in after my collarbone surgery and Risako was amazing. Great conversationalist, and extremely considerate about my surgery and what I was looking for. The price was great and I left very happy. Thank you

I went to this place for the first time a couple of months ago. The colour was perfect but the trim I paid $60 for was not. It wasn’t thinned out. I was also charged for a hair mask that I wasn’t even asked about or know about until it was on my hair.

Already sceptical about going back, I decided to call this morning to book an appointment and I was met with the most rude woman. Her attitude/customer service has ensured that I will take my $200 somewhere else.

I always have the best experience here! All the staff are so friendly and will even help each other whenever they have a spare second! 10/10 would recommend

He did an amazing job.
He was so gentle had a beautiful massage and he was so soft with my hair when post people pull an yank it. He new exactly what my blonde curly hair needed an has given a bunch of advise an products to help keep my hair healthy.

Tarsh and the whole team at Elevation are amazing! I spent 6 hours in the chair getting a complete colour correction from my natural dark brown to a warm beautiful blonde - Tarsh was very realistic in what we could achieve and the results are better than I could have ever expected while maintaining the integrity of my hair with a very fair price point. I can not say enough good things and won’t be trusting my hair with any other salon from now on! Thank you <3

Jon was amazing! He seemed to know exactly what I wanted and made it happen, gave a great head massage whist washing my hair and gave me tips on how to blow dry my bangs to make it work at home. An absolute gem!

Having left whistler last month after living there a year, I am now faced with finding a new hair dresser that can live up to the excellent talent and service I received each month from Laurence. Unlike many hairdressers, he listened to what I wanted and did exactly that. I will miss Elevation Hair Studio.

Lawrence did an excellent job (once again!) cutting my hair and styling my hair. He’s always friendly, professional, and does a great job. The salon is newly renovated and really well laid out with a great vibe. I would highly recommend elevation and Lawrence in particular.

Just had an amazing haircut, colour, and treatment for my long over due covid hair with Risako. Luckily she had a cancellation as I just made the appointment yesterday and will be in Whistler for only a week. Thanks again for accommodating me at such a short notice.

Lawrence is by far my favourite hair stylist in town. He is well-versed in all hairstyles and very knowledgeable. I always have a nice time chatting with him and he is THE best at scalp massaging when washing my hair. I only go to Elevation for Lawrence, but all other staff members are very kind.

Lawrence did an amazing cut for me. His knowledge of products was super helpful, his styling made me feel like a queen! Over the moon with his work!

The crew working there are the best! Always so much fun and the studio is super fresh looking and clean. Lawrence is the man when it comes to cutting my hair, although its the wash and head massage that 100% keeps me coming back.

Elevation is a reasonably priced hair salon in Whistler with incredible views of Whistler Blackcomb mountain and friendly staff.

Lawrence is an absolute asset to the team and in my opinion, Whistler's best hairstylist. He's been my hairstylist for 4 years and I am still amazed by his work. His consistently flawless haircuts and friendly service keeps me coming back. Thank you for always providing an excellent experience Lawrence!

I was very disappointed. I went in for haircut and the gentleman cutting my hair was very lovely very personable However the haircut was not good cut. I got home only to realise that the left side was shorter than the right side, I called the studio they told me to come right back in and they would fix it the gentleman spent 2 minutes fixing it, I got home and it was still didn't look right so I straightened it and it turned out there was curly pieces underneath the pieces he had straightened so I had pieces that were an inch longer than the rest of my hair. I had to go to another salon to get this fixed it took them 40 minutes to fix the haircut so that it looked good. I call evolution back and spoke to the receptionist to let her know what happened so they could rectify it and hopefully it would not happen to another client. I did think I would hear back from a manager of some sort just t to try to get more detail and see if there was anything they could do however I've never heard back from anybody in regards to the situation so it was very unfortunate I wouldn't go back.

Tarsh did a beautiful job on my highlights yesterday. The salon had to cancel my appointment earlier in the week due to staff illness. I was contacted promptly and rescheduled with Tarsh. I was so grateful they were able to accommodate me in a timely manner! The salon is beautifully renovated and covid-safe.

Natasha gave me THE BEST haircut I've ever had. Not exaggerating - I have very thick hair have had multiple stylists try to take the weight out with varying degrees of success. This cut is THE ONE! Also a shout out to John who did my 5yo daughters hair, he was fun and kept her smiling throughout:) Highly recommend this studio

Theres a reason Elevation was voted best hair salon in Whistler. Their stylists absolutely crush it every time I've been here, and I always leave with my hair looking it's best. Natarsha did a full head of foils for my balayage + trim and treatment and I couldn't be happier.

Waited for my little sister was happy, didn't get mine. Would say guys maybe go elsewhere but for girls VERY good!

Stella did an amazing job fixing a botched cut and colour I received from another hairdresser. She was really open with my options and listened to what I was after.

My hair is smooth as silk after a leave in treatment, blow dry, and style! My Japanese stylist even straightened my hair after blow drying because she knows Japan is humid and wanted my hairstyle to last during my trip there. Kind and caring service.

Not ideal for mens haircuts.

However if you do book, ask for Lisa (?) from Japan. She did a great job fixing the mess the other stylist had made and is amongst the few barbers/stylists in Whistler capable of doing a proper skin fade.

Would give it 0 stars if I could. Had my haircut there yesterday and am extremely disappointed and appalled by the end look of my hair. I simply asked the lady, that didn't tell me her name, to cut a little bit off my hair and demonstrated where I would like my hair cut to. I finished my haircut with the front of my hair in line with the bottom of my nose when I wanted it to come just above my shoulders. I have had many different types of haircuts and yesterday she had no pattern to her work, it was rushed and extremely messy. She didn't speak to me once whilst getting my haircut, or check whether I was okay with how short she was cutting my hair. I would say they don't know how to cut guys hair so would recommend going to a barbers instead

I hadn’t had my hair cut and styled in nearly a year. Jess not only did an amazing job with the cut and style, she also worked wonders with a toner and a mask! If you’re looking for an incredible stylist Jess is it! Thanks Jess and Elevation Salon for an incredible experience!

Wish I had gone here sooner! The staff, the experience, the result. All so beyond perfection. I honestly cannot say enough about this place that explains how amazing it is. From the minute you walk in the door you feel like you're best friends with everyone who works there. Rhiannon (the manager) so BEYOND knowledgeable about their products and her staff that she will book you in with the right person to get you the result you want. I wanted some super white blonde hair and OMG did I get it! Sarah Potter you are a bleaching genius! Do not pass this girl up if you live in town. Miss these girls already and I haven't been gone a month!
