Dr Slater recently treated me for a problem I had never had before which was painful symptoms with my back and leg that turned out to be from sciatica.
He truly made me feel comfortable with his treatment plan and he was so knowledgeable with the diagnosis as well as the solution. After the first treatment (which included laser therapy) I already could feel that the session was a success and I have continued for the past month to receive treatments. Dr Slater assured me that he would be able to help and after only a month I am almost completely pain free, able to walk and have almost totally recovered!
I would highly recommend seeing Dr Slater for any issues you have with your back or feet problems (I have had orthotics from him as well as successful treatment of planters fasciitis)

Client of Dr Van Der Mark for Chiro, and now also Ernie for RMT. Both great. I have a past neck injury as well as a more recent lower back injury, it’s important that my treatments are mindful of my past and current needs. I require a delicate approach to my neck, and can have anxieties around treatment, these were discussed in an open and understanding manner when I first arrived 3 years ago, and continues to be an ongoing conversation. There is an emphasis on maintaining care which has helped me to get to a new level of stability. Work takes me out of town frequently recently so it’s been great to have some office hours later in the afternoon and evening too. Recently started pairing Chiro with massage and have found Ernie to be quite effective and similarly concerned about understanding the full picture before beginning as well. It’s been great, if you’re looking for kind, consistent, goal based care, this is a great place. Also the admins are amazing!

I have been suffering from chronic back and leg pain from a being hit by a car while cycling 5 years ago. I have seen doctor after doctor, going through physio, massage, cupping, acupuncture to no avail.with recommendations of prescription drugs to treatments based on best guesses. I finally was put in touch with Dr. Slater, I was apprehensive at first but he’s been my savior, actually took time to read my mri and history then made a professional diagnosis and treatment plan. Six weeks later and my pain has gone from a solid 7 out of 10 to a 2-4 at its worst, never in the last 5 years has anyone made such a noticeable difference. I’m grateful to have met Dr. Slater and all his staff, they have been wonderful, they actually care and this has changed my life, it’s helped with depression, weight loss and overall physical health. I have been a patient of Dr. Slater’s since he first opened his practice over 20 years ago. There isn't another Chiroprator I would recommend more. He has put me back together more times than I can count. He is patient, he is kind, and I never feel rushed when I am there. The front desk staff are just so lovely and friendly. They all welcome me by name when I walk in. Dr. Slater is top notch all the way and he’s never allowed to retire, because I’m not sure what I’d do without him.

When I first went to see Dr. Slater, I didn’t think I could walk properly again, without pain, but thanks to Dr. Slater, I have full mobility back and can walk better then ever. I also got new orthotics from him which are better and cheaper from the pair I received 4 years ago. Cannot say enough good about this clinic and Dr. Slater. Thank you so much.

I would highly recommend Dr. Van Der Mark. I have had several episodes of extreme debilitating back pain over the past 10 years and Dr. Van Der Mark is highly effective at eliminating my pain and helping me to avoid aggravating the area in the future. A few years ago, I drove 7 hours home from vacation to be treated and it was well worth the drive.

I have been seeing Dr. Slater for many years now. He is my go to Dr.for any pain related problems. He helped me through a very painful bout of Costocondritis and was extremely patient with me. And most recently with a nasty fall for a badly sprained hand. He is the only one I will let adjust my neck, I cannot thank him enough for all his help and kindness. And the ladies at the front desk are the most lovely ladies to deal with. I recommend him highly.

By far one of the most professionally managed offices and competent chriropcator care in the lower mainland! Dr. Slater is very experienced - and being an athlete with a lower back disc injury himself - fully understands the complexity of such injuries. Truly cares about helping the patients: last year opened the clinic on Thanksgiving weekend to help with an urgent treatment. Front desk staff is one of the most friendly and flexible I have ever dealt with. Top notch!

Lots of parking. Easy to get to. Wonderful staff who always have a positive attitude. Flow of arrival and exit is clean and efficient. Treatment options are legitimate and effective. Doctor's temperament is professional, friendly and genuine. 100% would recommend.

Dr. Slater is one of the few capable chiropractors who I've found to be able to get the job done. In contrast to other practioners who merely flip customers over as fast as they can, without ever getting the release or aiming to improve upon the previous adjustment. He's awesome and most of the staff are really friendly.

Have been coming here for 8 years and have recieved exceptional chiropractic care from Dr. Robyn Vandermark as well as massage treatment by Ernie (can't remember his last name). Only know him as Ernie lol. Have been treated for everything from car accident to muscle pain to ciatica nerve pain. Exceptional staff and exceptional care.

I swear Dr. Slater has magic hands. I first saw him in June due to a herniated cervical disc. He fixed me right up. Recently, I suffered a separated shoulder. I saw him once and the same day my range of motion was much better and 90% of my pain was gone. I highly recommend him.

Doctor Robin Van Der Mark has been attending to my spinal health for years now, and his therapy has helped me overcome two episodes of painful paralysis to my right leg caused by disc osteophyte complex. I have since regained full function and have resumed my workout regime including running and weight training. In years past I would routinely injure my back in the early spring when starting in on yard and garden work but in recent years have had no such problems, thanks in large part to Dr. Van Der Mark's excellent monthly care.
