I've always sought a natural, non-thick, and exceptionally clean finish, and she delivers on that front. Her work is incredibly efficient, and you won't feel fatigued. I have been enjoying my nails done in this Salon couple of times. I found Angella and her team very caring and professional, offering high quality customer service. Also, I love the art Elmira performs on nails, her job is amazing, long-lasting and enjoys great deal of creativity which keeps me wanting her to the job for me.

If I can give this place a zero rating I wouldn't hesitate. I have used their service just one time and it was the last. They have awful customer service and they are not even close to being average on doing nails. I did my nails and they took forever to do acrylic and they are so overly priced and the next day one of my nail broke and I had went in to get it fixed but they were full so the lady at the front booked me in to get it done the next day in the evening at 5: 30pm and when I went there they said I had no appointment and started questioning me who I spoke to the night before. I told them I am not sure but whoever was working so they should know and they kept trying to blame me as if I was lying till I told them to go call whoever was working and see which one of them booked me in and they took forever to do so till the end they put me in with a girl who was very unhappy to get my nail fixed and told me it wasn't her job. Never have I ever experienced something like that till I went there a few months ago and I just got the time to actually post a review.

As a male, it can be a little nerve wracking going in for pedicures. Angela made my appointment quick, easy, and very fun! Thank you Angela for your wonderful service! I will definitely be back in soon

Worst experience I’ve had at a nail salon, the tech was so aggressive and unprofessional that it caused me to have to leave mid appointment. I will not be returning.

My daughter had a wonderful session with Angela and came out with stunning nails. Angela turned my daughter’s desired nails into a reality and painted gorgeous French tips. My daughter wanted something special for her birthday, and she made it happen by giving her lovely nails. My daughter had a wonderful experience and we will be sure to come back soon. Thank you for making her birthday special with these absolutely stunning nails.

Best in the city. My nails last for 5 weeks, and have never chipped! The crew there is also so fun! Angela trains everyone really well and makes sure that everyone is performing at a high standard. Don’t be afraid to go with somebody new if your usual gal isn’t available - there is a high standard for quality at Ella Bonita! Make sure you book off 2 hours if you’re getting a manicure as nails tend to take a bit longer due to high precision and quality standards.

Finally a nail salon with high quality mani & pedi’s. I’ve seen a few of the nail techs and they were all exceptional. I’m in love with their technique. They don’t give you a traditional mani and pedi, Ella Bonita is the only salon in Vancouver that does waterless mani & pedi’s which I love because it’s super hygienic. As a super picky person I give this place a 5 star

It was my second time visiting because the first time they did a poor job and wanted to fix it with half price. They asked me to leave and told me they can’t find my booking there even though I had a confirmation email. Denied me service and accused me of using a fake name for booking.

I had the best experience at Ella Bonita! All the girls were so friendly & my nails turned out amazing ️ i love the technique they use to help my natural nails grow, I will definitely be coming to this salon from now on!

Had my worst pedicure experience today! I wasn’t a huge fan of their “Water-less Pedicure”, and it was painful at some points.
My technician screwed up a few times, but instead of fixing them, she was trying to add more layers, which didn’t work! She never said sorry or try to fix them again!
The manager was there most of the time, she overheard my complaints but never got involved to take care of the situation. Pedicure is 5-10$ more expensive than other places in downtown.

This is the worst experience I ever have! I just wanted to do the simplest of nails and then the nail technician at this store was completely unprofessional. My fingers kept hurting during this process, and when I took a closer look, she had broken my skin straight away! I payed for a service that hurt my finger in a nail store, what a mess!

Nice place nice ladies very good nails! Shaping and clean cuticles are 10/10 and i didnt cringe when they were filing my natural nails.love going here looking forward to my next nail session:)

I've been going to Angela (the owner) for years and she never disappoints. I live an hour away from the salon but the drive is worth it for the service. I've never found a place that makes fake nails look so natural and thin. People always think these are my real nails because of how natural they look. They also last up to 5 weeks before needing a fill (and my nails grow fast!).

This is by far the best nail salon I've ever been to and I highly recommend it to everyone. All of the nail techs are equally as good so you'll be well taken care of no matter who you book with.

I have been going here for about 5 months now and have not once been disappointed! They are truly amazing and pay special attention to details. I absolutely recommend!

The best nail salon in vancouver! I cannot stress enough how professional Angela and her team are.the shop follows all covid guidelines and each station is sanitized between clients. Ivy does my manicures/pedicures and my cuticles have never been more happy. 10/10 recommend!

Beautiful space however the nail techs is not so professional.she was filing too hard and seemed annoyed that i did not want whatever she was trying to up-sell.she seemed to rush at the end because her boyfriend showed up and was waiting behind her.she even apologized to him like i was the problem holding her time there.in my opinion do not book with this nail tech.

Love love love going here! I travel from Port Coquitlam just to get my nails done by Angela and her team! I have had my nails done by so many nail technicians and was never satisfied till I found Angela. I only trust her with my nails and highly recommend her and her team! She really cares about my nail health and does a good job with her knowledge and experience.

Angela is one the best in the industry. She knows her stuff and trained her girls well. They make your nails look good while still caring about water conservation. It’s a win win.

I wanted to love this nail salon but it’s so hard when their management and customer service were an absolute mess. I booked in with Angela (the owner) a week in advance for a 1: 45pm appointment. I got at the salon at 1: 40pm and Ivy (another nail technician/assistant manager?) checked me in, told me that Angela will be right back.
At 1: 47pm, Ivy told me that Serena will be doing my nails, Angela isn’t feeling too well and had been going in and out of the salon all morning. I’m sorry, but if she’s been in and out all morning, they could’ve called me and told me, giving me the option whether or not I’d be willing to see another technician or want to reschedule. Ivy didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience of this or anything. She said Serena is really good etc.and she’s almost done with her client, another 2 minutes. It doesn’t matter if Serena is good or not, it’s a matter of courtesy letting a client know if the requested technician isn’t available.
By 2: 05pm, Serena wasn’t done yet, so another technician, Angel, started to remove my gel polish that I had on.
2: 15pm, a thumb left of nail polish to be removed, Serena is finally available, far from 2 minutes that was previously said. However, Serena was not sure if she can do the nail-art or not, so she asked Angel to do it.
2: 40pm, surprise, Angela came in. Called my name and asked, “Did you have an appointment with me? ” Yes, yes I did at 1: 45pm I told her. At this point I was no longer in the mood to make conversation. She laughed and barely apologized, she said she had something else to do. She then asked if this was my first time at Ella Bonita. I told her no, it’s my 4th and I saw her the last 2. I never expect anyone, her included, who works in customer service to remember me at all, or making small talks. Just acknowledge that they made a mistake and forgot their scheduled appointment.
She started doing nails with other clients after that, like nothing happened. There was another client who’s been waiting and they let the 2 other clients (who seemed to be regulars) after her to sit at the nail station. This woman started to look irritated and asked how much longer, she needed to charge her phone. Angela said Ivy will be done in 2 minutes, but it took her 10-15 minutes to actually finish the previous client.
It bothers me how this seems to be a pattern. They want to be an exclusive and high-end nail salon claiming the best nail salon in Vancouver, however they’re lacking and far from that. I also wish the salon was a bit cleaner. Whenever I’m there, today included, I’ve never seen them sanitize the tables, used nail polish bottles, UV polish dryer (the inside were full of fingerprints, polish marks, powder, and it was sticky), even after it’s being used from one client to another. The tables were covered with powder and they merely wiped it. They’re always so unprepared, having to look for tools/items mid-appointment and scrambling around. I really like their work on nails, Angel and Serena really did a great job, I’m impressed with their attention to details on nails, even though the appointment that was supposed to be 1.5hours ended up being 3.3 hours. However, the salon’s customer service and way of managing the salon are very disappointing. I hope they’ll improve their ways sooner than later.

I am going to keep this short and to the point.

I visited this salon for a pedicure. I take no issues with the waterless aspect of their work, I actually found it rather enjoyable.

The experience of their technicians, however, and the quality of their work, is quite questionable. I got my toe nails filed so much that after a few weeks, one toe nail fell off. The others are pink and fragile. I have posted a photo of the latter, so you don’t have to needlessly see the former…

Back to my old salon. Change is not always good a good thing.

P.s. I have never experienced this before. So no, this has nothing to do with my toe nails, or the shoes I was wearing.

I texted the number provided for this salon and tried to book an appointment, I told the person I was talking to what I wanted to get done and also sent a reference picture. The person I was talking to had only replied to me twice to ask what I wanted and then replied the next day to ask if I wanted extensions; I said yes and then asked for their prices. I was left on read and did not get a reply after that.

I was excited to go this salon as there are great reviews about them but their customer service needs a LOT of work. It’s very disrespectful to reply to prospective client’s messages very late (almost 24 hours since my text has been read) and then leaving them on “read” after asking what service they want to get done. Please do better.

I had couple of bad experiences at this salon! First one was during a manicure and she cut the edges too much and my finger started bleeding! She didn’t even apologized and she did the same to another finger on my left hand! She was like it’s no big deal! And the bleeding wouldn’t stop for a few minutes! It was terrible! A few weeks later I texted them to get an appointment to remove my gel color, whoever answers the text messages asked me when’s the best time for me and when I replied they never got back to me! Not even letting me know that they’re not available! I went to this salon a few times just because it’s super close to my house but decided to never go back again!

Got my nails done on a Thursday for hard gel nail extensions & left unhappy with my nails. From far away they looked ok, but up close it wasn't. There was smudging of the French tip that was black all the way back onto the clear part toward the cuticle giving it a unclean/dirty look since it was black on clear nail color. The surface of the nail was not smooth, there was noticeable amounts of texture on some of the nails both on top & underneath. I was also surprised she didn't check to see if the nails were similar in length/look compared to all the other nails. They were slightly lifted the day after on the edges by the cuticle, looked like a big bubbles on most of the nail edge close to the cuticle. There was also little bubble/holes (4 in total that she said was normal for the nail gel, I have never had that experience before with gel extensions & I expressed my concerns it would look obvious, I asked if she had anything to cover it & I was brushed off. She said it wouldn't look obvious after some top coat/clear gel & it definitely still did. I have had gel nail extensions before & it was nothing similar to this experience. I'm disappointed I wasted my money & time as takes 40 minutes there & back. It was supposed to be a nice treat to myself as I'm a full time mom & I ended up removing them less than a week after having them as I was just not happy with them to keep them for longer.

The most classy nail salon I've been to in Vancouver. The vibe in Ella Bonita was next level. The atmosphere, staff and general ambiance are so different. I was also really impressed with the quality of materials they used for my rough hands and feet. I've been to other salons, and sometimes they have questionable materials that seem cheap. Also, the waterless pedicure was such a nice change. I noticed a huge difference in how soft my feet were. I will be back for sure!

BEST Nail Salon in Vancouver! I love love love my nails. They last me 5 to 6 weeks. Regular manicures only last up to 3 weeks if you’re lucky. This salon doubles that time frame. I love that the owner has chosen to specialize in the European technique. Also love that it's a waterless salon! If you want fabulous nails, come here. Come with an open mind! It's different for sure, but in the best way possible. The vibe is awesome and the staff are super friendly.

BEST NAIL SALON IN TOWN! Or ever! And I have travelled quite a bit.but I will never go anywhere else now. These ladies use the new russian technique and it makes my nails so much stronger and last so much longer. Usually the places I travel in europe have this service. No one else has or offers this service in Vancouver. Their attention to detail in their designs are amazing. So happy I found this place!

Best place in town, hands down! Clean and environmentally-friendly techniques; the technicians are amazing at what they do. This is the first salon in over 50 I've gone to that has delivered flawless product over a super friendly, stylish and welcoming environment.

As a lifelong cuticle/nail-biter/picker, my hands look like they have undergone some beautiful transplant just after 1 session with Angela (it looks like I never had the problem to begin with - what bad habit?). An absolutely beautiful transformation can be achieved here with your digits.

Alright y’all let me put you on the GREATEST nail space — i got my nails done here about a week and a bit ago.normally by this time, with a gel manicure, i’m planning the date for my next appointment because the growth is noticeable between nail bed and paint.looking at my hands right now, i have no idea when i’m going to book next.when these were done, their team (emily) got so close to my nailbed that the growth is negligible and natural.it’s AMAZING! I’m so happy!

First time I ever got a waterless pedicure and let me tell you I hope to never get a water based pedicure again. I was a little skeptical about how it would be cleaner and just as good, it actually exceeded my expectations. They start off by sanitizing your feet, much like sanitizing your hands (I like this because you're saving water) they do a few steps then they start filing your feet, I could see and feel the progress as the layers got stripped away, they put your feet into a bag with some cream that ends up making your feet feel ultra soft, I still got the full foot massage and by the end of the service I can truly tell you my feet were the softest I've ever had it after any Pedi service. I highly recommend it! Ella Bonita is one of the most beautiful and upcoming salons in Vancouver! Book your services asap, you won't regret it!

I never thought or cared for my feet, but I was curious and wanted to take better care of myself (why not the feet?) Upon arrival I was greeted by all the staff, Kaede was helping out today.

She offered me a choice of beverages, and began the process (My first pedicure).

Loved the service and ambiance! They use European technic for their mani/pedi services and instead of wasting water for pedicures they do a super cool foot mask for you. Both my manicure and pedicure look flawless! For manicure Sasha put extra effort to make sure the gel is really close to cuticle which means it will last way longer. Bonus: awesome playlist and design!

The hubby and I just got pedicures here. I love their water-free concept, which is a minimalistic heating sleeve you get to cushion your foot in. I love their ambiance - it is SUCH an elegant and classy place to get your nails done lol! And the staff has been super kind, unrushed and friendly so far. Good luck to them - new business which is focused to give a more hygienic and water-saving experience. Win win. Recommended!:)
