it usually started to fall out about in a week, so I decided to try somewhere else. Then, I found Clara and Clara was so nice and funny. She made me laugh so hard, I had to try really hard to stay still. I didn’t really think they would last this long, but THEY LASTED A LONG TIME.

I had an exceptional experience at Elle recently - the staff were professional and friendly, the environment was so clean and welcoming, and my mani pedi turned out perfect. My nails lasted for weeks without chipping or peeling - would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch nail service. I also love that they offer sparkling wine or coffee - I bought a Prosecco to enjoy while getting pampered.

This salon and it's owner have absolutely zero sense of empathy and compassion. There was a death in my family and my family member obviously couldn't make it to her nail appointment but the salon wanted proof of death! So ridiculous. The owner was contacted and instead of being understanding, they charged her regardless of the situation. Then when she realized that we were not going to sit around and be silent, she said we could get our refund only if we removed our reviews on Google. This salon only cares about getting money and having 5 stars reviews on Google, an absolute rotten egg of a company.

My wife was over the moon with her nails and overall experience at Elle. Thank you to the ladies there for being so welcoming to a new client. She will be back!

My favorite nail salon in Vancouver, the mani and pedi always looks perfect and the service is talented, friendly and kind.

Just tried this place for the first time.
I usually go to another salon and have a typical gel manicure with just a polish change (no massage, cuticle removal etc) every 2nd time as my nails grow really fast. I asked if they could do this and they said their process (Russian dry manicure) is very different and more detailed and they need to remove cuticles etc.or my manicure wouldn't last. I've never had any problems with my gel polish chipping just my nails growing fast but I thought what the heck I'll trust the process and give it a try. They acknowledged that I didn't have much cuticle to trim so they would give me $3 off.

My nails look great and the technical was lovely and pleasant. I can't say they look any better than my usual salon but I am happy with them.

However, a couple things that I felt could improve. I am simply basing this by comparison to my usual salon so completely understand if this is just not the way they work and perhaps others don't value these things:

1. There was no hand massage or lotion. I asked and she said sometimes they do it if they have time but often they don't. I didn't get any nail art, french manicure etc so I'm not sure why there wasn't time. Their Instagram says hot towels and hand massages are provided with each mail service. This wasn’t the case for me.

2. They have a coffee machine etc but I wasn't offered any drinks. Not even water. My usual salon always offers water or green tea.

3. I felt a bit dirty having my nail dust on me. I think I prefer washing my hands.

4. This manicure costed me $25 more than what I normally pay and the process didn't seem that different other than that they don't massage you, wash your nails or give you a beverage.

Perhaps these nails will impress me over time but she said it will last 4 weeks which is my usual anyways.

Owner of the salon is very unprofessional. Requesting bad reviews to be removed, calling and emailing their customers about it is not a way to make business.

A truly beautiful, professional and relaxing space. Staff are incredible and really talented. Won’t be going anywhere else. Highly recommend

This has happened multiple times. I’ll make an appointment, request a specific tech and they move me to another tech without prior notice. There is no heads up for this change. They make all the effort to relentlessly call you to make sure you’re coming to your appointment BUT they don’t make that same effort when they make changes to your appointment. I come all the way here and pay for parking only to find out they’ve changed it.

I got my nails done by Laura just over 2 weeks ago for my Wedding. She did an amazing job helping me figure out what the best design and colours could be for what I envisioned.
This is the first time my nails have held up this long and still look really good, which is a miracle since I work with my hands.

It was my first time ever getting gel extensions and I LOVE them! Anna did a very good job and I will definitely be coming back to get my nails done again sometime soon!

I’ve been a loyal customer of this place for close to two years now, even though the receptionists weren’t always the nicest and the prices aren’t the cheapest, I always overlooked it because I loved how my nails turned out. But after my last two visit I don’t think I will be coming back.

The first time I ever came in the technician (Sunny, who is amazing by the way) recommended that I switch from getting acrylics to gel-x. The results turned out better than expected, so that’s what I’ve been getting ever since.

I usually redo them every 3 to 4 weeks and never had any issues until the last time I got them done. The first nail popped off within a week of me getting them done, but due to the fact that my regular technician was on a vacation I decided not to come in and just wait until the next time. Within the next week another one popped off and two others were lifting. It was already too late to fix anything as it has been more than a week at that point. Few days ago one of the lifting nails ripped off with half of my natural nail and I decided not to wait for my regular technician and just go in and take all of them off. I asked for a manicure without any polish or gel on the top.

The total cost was almost the same amount as getting gel-x for the service that barely lasted 25 minutes and when I asked the receptionist why was it so high, she explained that I was charged for the signature manicure and removal. After walking out of the salon I checked their website to see that the service I was charged for was supposed to include nail polish and oil massage, which was also never offered to me. And even though I get my old set removed the same way every time I came in, I was never charged for it before (even the first time when I had acrylics from another place).

I felt very disappointed and almost scammed that I had to pay for something that I didn’t even get. So even though I’ve been a loyal customer here for a long time, I think I will have to look for another place to get my nails done.

This place is awful. I tried creating an online account and that didn't work. I tried phoning to book an appointment and the line was constantly busy. I walked into the storefront and the girl, whom I could hardly hear, said they don't normally book appointments inside the store. I told her I was looking for a pedicure and lower leg wax. The girl went to talk to one of her colleagues and came back and said their waxer was on maternity leave.i couldn't hear her so I asked her to repeat, which she did. I then said I would look for somewhere else to go. They obviously don't want new business, which I hate.

Got the most relaxing and awesome mani & pedi from a lovely girl named Denya. The best part is the massage, and the interior is so cute

Had absolutely amazing experience here. My first time, discovered it through TikTok searching Hailey Bieber nails in Vancouver and the gentleman who did my nails did the most perfect job ever and was so sweet. Couldn’t be happier. Definitely recommend this place.

I come here for pedicures and nothing but good service. I’ve had shellac pedicures done here and they last for months.

Got in last minute due to cancellation for gel-x nails and Kristen did an amazing job! Very detailed with her work, gave me exactly what I wanted and was so kind and pleasant. Beautiful spot, would recommend to anyone looking to get their nails done.

Got a last minute appointment because of a cancellation with Tracy. One of the best experiences I have had in a long time, impeccable work/finish and great service. Would 100% recommend, and definitely going back again.

Always love coming here! I’ve gotten my nails done a couple of times now and every time they have been perfect! The best service and the attention to detail when doing my nails is amazing! The salon is gorgeous and staff are so friendly!
I also recently got a spray tan done here which turned out amazing! Definitely recommend!

Was excited to try this salon. I had made an appointment in advance for a gel pedicure and nail fill. After arriving on time and waiting for 10 minutes I was told they were unable to accommodate me asking me to return 5 hours later. They clearly don’t value clients time or schedules. Extremely unprofessional and underwhelming.

I really enjoyed the nail service I received. Christina is so friendly and followed up on my appointment in advance with text messages. Pretty warm and welcoming in person, too. Christian and Sun worked on my nails. It’s been 2 weeks are they still look amazing. I also liked the dry manicure technique they used. No damage to the nail bed and cuticles.
The salon looks absolutely gorgeous and relaxing.

I get my nails done regularly at another boutique. I wanted to try Elle as it was highly recommended and I left fairly disappointed. I initially booked with a specific nail tech, but they messaged me and told me she's no longer available. I appreciated the heads up. The nail tech that ended up doing my manicure was so rough with my nails and cuticle that it hurt. I flinched a few times during the appointment and I couldn't wait until it was over. It's been over 24 hours and my cuticles are still sore. There's a couple cuts as well.

Lovely technician's, great work. However, I do wish the communication could have been better. I booked in advance for an gel x set. Booked it online and communicated through their email to confirm that I was interested in getting French ombre but when the technician started working on me she told me she was not able to do it as the machine will be occupied for another appointment. I was quiet disappointed as these are my wedding nails. But my technician did improvise and give me different alternatives.

I went to Elle boutique to get my eyebrows done and ended up going back the next day for my nails. Let me be clear I gave this place a 4 star instead of a 5 due to their eyebrow technician and front staff costumer service.nails were quite a disappointment, but we’ll get to that.

I had microblading done with Lariane and absolutely loved it every step of the way, being the perfectionist that I am I could really see not only her level of professionalism but also how much she cared about my concerns and desires. Loved it so much that recommended to my boss and he went about 3 weeks later. If it were up to her alone would have been 5 stars easily.
Front staff were also incredibly nice and sweet and like Lariane do deserve proper recognition. On my first day I was helped by Tatiana, she gave me this great welcoming and warm sensation which made me feel really great and relived not only because I was kind of nervous/excited to get my eyebrows done but also because it was my first time ever being there and most salons in downtown have a reputation of treating you differently if you don’t dress a certain way or have a certain look.
Second day being there I was helped by this beautiful blonde lady (who unfortunately I did not get the name) that was also incredibly sweet and humble to the point where on my way out she helped me put my jacket on because I just had my nails done (something I never had it happening to me here in vancity).

Unfortunately, I did not enjoy my my nails experience as much as everything else there, however I do believe the reason for that was not the environment or the products (since both my gel-x and nail polish seem of great quality) but more so because of the person doing it. I believe her name was Julie (?). At first she was really polite and did include me when it came to choosing the nail size, anything else after that was just pure disappointment. She didn’t made me feel included at all in whatever she was doing there and whenever I would try to give a suggestion or opinion she would make this eye roll expression like she was extremely bothered and annoyed by whatever I was saying. There was also a moment where I showed concern about maybe one of the nails being loose and instead of listening to my concern, explaining to me about it and giving me security in the entire procedure she just started discussing it with another coworker who happened to be walking by. They were speaking in another language which usually would be okay but since I knew it was regarding my nail it made me feel really lost and insecure about the whole thing. The only thing she did make a suggestion was for the colour (after asking several times for it) but once I decided to go another way, she also made that same bothered and annoyed expression which made me feel really sad and guilty to the point where I almost painted the colour she suggested just to make her happy. I felt like the entire time she was just in a rush and just wanted to get that done and because of it I felt like she didn’t do a few things properly like my cuticles since there was still a very thick layer in between the nails and the finger and when I express concern about it she said ‘that’s how’s supposed to be’ but by looking at the pictures on the reviews I can clearly see it’s not since it does make look way more artificial (like one of those sets that you get at shoppers only x7 more expensive), and also when using the glue since there was still much leftover glue in between the back of the nails and the fingers but because it was my first time doing gel-x not sure if this left over glue is common or not since some of it went away over time.

I understand everyone has their off-days and react to things differently but if you’re working with costumer service doing something as important as nails that are going to be very visible and be a part of your routine for the next 4 weeks she should have been at least more considerate with her clients concerns and not make a annoyed/bothered expression whenever they ask about something.

My Local nail salon - they do the best job, always professional and reasonably priced with a glam vibe every time. Bonus: they were so lovely and patient with my toddler for her birthday

I went to Ellen Salon to get my eyebrows shaped with Lariane and the result was so good that I would give 10 starts if I could! She is super professional, does an amazing job, and made my eyebrows look flawless.

Excellent service, my nails and toes have looked great twice now. Very clean and beautiful looking salon.

Monica was super friendly and did a great job on my nails. We were crunched for time so let them know upon booking if youre looking for additional details/designs but Monica still worked with me to find a happy middle ground.

I recently visited Elle Boutique Salon with my bridesmaids and family to get our nails done for my wedding. It’s a beautiful, open and spacious salon and they offer many different services. To make the day a bit more special we brought some treats and mimosas. The salon was super helpful in setting everything up for us and provided serving trays, cute plates, champagne glasses, etc. Jenn does my nails and she’s amazing - my gel manicures always last perfectly for weeks! All the other nail techs did a great job as well. Everyone’s nails looked perfect for the wedding!

I followed my hairdresser from another salon, and visited Elle for the first time last night. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. The salon is tastefully decorated. I love that it's a one-stop beauty shop, and look forward to my pedicure next month.

This review is for their lash techs, particularly Shalin. What can I say about Shalin that hasn’t already been said about the wheel, the printing press or penicillin? She and her work is the greatest of all time! I don’t know where I’d be without her incredible ability to make my face look semi-presentable. Only semi-though, ‘cause injections and plastic surgery do the rest. But GURL lashes are major key. Super important. I used to be sad, now I’m only sad when I leave Elle and say goodbye to Shalin. But as Arnie in The Terminator said - I’ll be back!

Beautiful place in yaletown. They only use high quality supplies which I love. They last very long. They have everything nails hairs lashes makeups etc. I love their teas and cookies while you get pedicure. There is this guy working there i forgot his name lol but He is really good. I love how they are honest and recommend which option is actully better, than not just recommending higher price options like other shops. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and I am definitely coming back for my next appt!

I've been coming to Elle Boutique Salon since it opened and it's truly been a wonderful experience. I have gotten to know the owners, Grace and Linda, and they are so kind and even know me by name when I walk in the door! I have had my nails done by Michael, Paris, Linda, Linda N.and a few guest technicians they have hosted and they have always turned out fantastic. The one thing I love about this salon is that it is PERFECTLY clean and really beautifully designed and decorated. It creates a warm and safe environment and I look forward to coming here each time that I book an appointment. I can't wait to try their other services in the future.:) Thanks ladies!

First mani/pedi experience ever! The staff were professional and made the entire experience very enjoyable! Favourite part was there coffee ground and coconut oil scrub during the pedi!

Loved the Salon, nice chairs. Was offered tea while I got my mani pedi combo. I did a gel nail application for my wedding which turned out gorgeously. I did get a little bit pushed for some other services and upsold but I knew what I wanted. When I was firm she backed off. Only con was that my nails majorly chipped after about a week and a half (Jan 7th nails done, Jan 19th had them taken off because my pointer fingers were half gone). She did offer to fix them but I don't like wearing gel for too long (wrecks my nails).

This place is so beautiful. The staff are so friendly and accomdating.

Thank you Linda for the beautiful nails - I came in with two shorter nails after they got damanged at work so she gave me extentions to match the others. They look so natural! I just cannot stop admiring them! Now I’m vacation ready ‍️
