Phenomenal place, warm, welcoming and outstanding treatment. Highly recommend this place if your dealing with depression.

I should have read the reviews before I went to visit this center.

My intention was to get my daughter an ADHD assessement and a prescription alongside that. When I called to confirmed if they have the capacity to prescribe medication via a phonecall with their front desk, they assured me over and over again that they are able to give out ADHD prescriptions (the precise term they used was medication recommandation and promised it functions the same as a prescription which can be taken to a pharmacy)

However when we got there, they didn't perform an ADHD assessment as was promised but after talking, they told me that ADHD was dignosed and suggested a brain map and neurofeedback treatments (which seems is the primary treatment they provide).

I cannot judge the effectiveness of their treatment plan on the basis of me not being a mental health professional. But I do think that they misled me which they denied later when I brought it up later.

Thank you for your time to read this review which costed me $295 and several hours of my time on commuting and waiting.

I came to Elumind about 3 years ago for severe anxiety related to losing my job during the pandemic. I honestly was skeptical about neurofeedback altogether. The staff explained neurofeedback in details to me and provided me with all the options available. They took the time to understand my life situation and helped me figure out my expectations. Doing my treatments at Elumind was the best thing I could ever do. Three years later and I am still going strong despite other stressors in my life. If you want results, I would highly suggest this center.

I was looking for something different so I could have an insight of what was really going on inside my brain based on imagery (brain map) and I can only recommend everyone to go to Elumind. The brain map as well as the neurofeedback sessions helped me SO MUCH in such a short amount of time with anxiety, focusing and sleeping better. This experience was better than any therapy I've been following before. I can't wait to come back! Also the staff is super friendly.

My daughter was diagnosed with ADHD and clinical depression at the age of 10 and have gone thru therapy ever since. Last year though was a turning point for our family as we saw our now 16 year old daughter at her worst emotional and mental state, her anxiety and depression worsened so much that she urgently required help from a very strong medical support team. She was seen by a known psychiatrist and prescribed meds that we didn’t find very effective and underwent extensive DBT therapy under the care of one of Vancouver’s top psychologists. Her state improved somewhat with therapy but we didn’t see any massive change in her moods, outlook in life as her mood swings then were still difficult to manage, her anxiety and depression still very apparent in how she dealt with her social life and relationships with family and friends. We reached a point when my daughter blamed all her struggles on me and my family and even refused to have any sort of relationship with us. As a mother, I was beyond heartbroken knowing how much anger my daughter holds in her heart and felt hopeless and wondered if our lives could go any better. Then came in Elumind. I decided to explore neurofeedback upon the recommendation of my daughter’s therapist. I have not heard of it and came to know about Elumind only after searching for neurofeedback centers near us and I must say enlisting their help was the best decision we ever made. I was in awe of their brain mapping technology as I didn’t know it could at all be possible for us to definitively know what my daughter’s struggles were, and with the brain map results we finally did. Dr. Edalati explained to us at length how neurofeedback works and informed us exactly what’s wrong with our daughter and the areas we must focus on for her to be more stable. He went over and above for us, as the advices and guidance he provided us helped us a great deal to manage this journey with our daughter. He and his team are beyond spectacular, as they always treated us with such kindness and understanding and we could not have asked for anything more. Our daughter completed more than the standard number of neurofeedback sessions as that was how complex her case was but seeing my daughter back, seeing her smile and laugh again, hearing her utter the words “I love you”, “I am sorry”, “Thank you” definitely made the time and money we invested on neurofeedback so worth it. I know her therapy and supplements contributed as well to her recovery but I believe neurofeedback was truly the game changer for us. Thank you so much, Dr. Edalati and Elumind team, for everything! May you continue to make a difference in this world and bring individuals like my daughter and their families joy and hope again, so they finally can start living a life worth living.

We are glad to have come across Elumind, for their neurofeedback treatment. It helped my son with his focus and confidence. He's become more proficient at problem solving and very calm during the day. Doctor Edalati and his hard working team were very helpful and informative. Elumind Centres for Brain is an excellent facility. I brought both my kids for a six month treatment of Neurofeedback for their anxiety and depression. The change I have seen in them is truly incredible. Dr. Edalati, technicians and staff are amazing! They are really there for you and your loved ones. I would recommend this program to anyone.

Dr Edalati is brilliant. He helped me so much with my mental health and getting my life on the right track. The neurofeedback therapy made a huge difference in my life, with anxiety, depression and ADD. Truly grateful and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Friendly and super competent. I used to play competitive sports and had multiple concussions that over time made me anxious and unable to focus at work. This got worse with time. The staff at Elumind did a brain map and then put me on neurofeedback. The neurofeedback helped me feel calmer and allowed me to carry out my job as a bookkeeper. I would rate them really highly.

Seven months ago my then 15-year-old son went off his ADHD meds. While the negative side effects of the stimulant meds disappeared within a few days, the “noise in his head“ from ADHD got worse. We sought neurofeedback from Elumind as a non-medicinal approach to managing his ADHD. After the initial brain map, Dr Edalati developed a protocol of about 100 neurofeedback sessions for my son. (More than the average 30-40 sessions, but such was the need for my son.) The results are nothing short of profound. He’s much happier, more confident, more resilient and more capable in all aspects of his life. He has a broader circle of friends and an expanded social life. And the noise in his head is gone. Gone. It sounds like a miracle and some days it feels like that. But it’s not a miracle. It’s science. Science that works. My son, husband and I are so grateful to have found Elumind. The team is warm and friendly and their treatment program for my son has changed his life. He is thriving.

Last year through Trauma I had severe nerve pain in my foot 24/7 even in my sleep for eight month.

I had been suffering from depression for a long time and I had seen many counsellors sometimes with OK results and sometimes without much success. Based on a friend's recommendation I went to Elumind for counselling despite my reservations about counselling. For the first time, I learnt that my depression was a symptom of childhood trauma and that I needed to treat my trauma first before my depression cleared. They helped me not only to clear my trauma, but also they supported me in getting rid of my depressive feelings. I would rate them as simply brilliant when it comes to counselling.

Our daughter suffers from autism. Our friends referred us to Elumind and Dr. Edalati's team for treatment. We had done ABA for her along with medications and social skills groups, which had all helped immensely, but we felt something was missing. We did our research on neurofeedback and we decided to do a QEEG brain map on our daughter. We were amazed at how detailed the EEG analysis at Elumind was and even more impressive was the neurofeedback treatment that has turned our daughter around. Thumbs up!

Outstanding people work here and I got help with my chronic pain using their neurofeedback. They educate you first so you know what you are dealing with, then they deal with the issue. Great job!

For the first time, I had a decrease in how frequently I felt depressed and also I did not feel as low as I had felt in the past. My son had a concussion playing soccer and even after staying off the field he continued having difficulties with dizzy spells, mood swings and occasional nausea. He was treated at the clinic with neurofeedback and he has been free of symptoms ever since. We recommend Elumind if you have a similar problem.
