We had a group of 15 saying farewell to a colleague who needs halal. This restaurant easily accommodated us with a reservation. Lots of choices, and different spice levels. We had fun.

Worst butter chicken I've ever had.
Chicken isn't cooked very well. I could feel it was still raw. No flavor. Unfortunately, i had to throw it all away.
Please be mindful of what you display or your website. It wasn't the best butter chicken. However, it was the worst thing i ever tasted.
Raw and tasteless.
Poor quality.

We mainly do delivery and while the food is good they miss items every single time. I’m really not sure how hard it is to make sure that all the items someone has paid for is in the delivery bag. If you are too busy to do that then concentrate on your in house customers and don’t do delivery.

Really tasty, one of the most high end Indian restaurants in the lower mainland! Expect to spend a lot here.

Had a wonderful halibut biryani, an African Chicken and Fish curry.

Not heavy like typical Indian food.

Good chai and a nice alternative to the usual Indian places.

There service was very very bad…they wait for the customer half an hour… not me others guest also wait.they told 2 chefs lunch time ok we wait bt then they say chef’s resting time…
We ask are ur restaurants closed or open.they say no we open.bt now we are break time…seriously.if u need break than close ur restaurant 1hour.bt not they choose wait for customers 1hour to wait for food….

Fantastic, owner was was really nice and gave us a journey of a story that really gave us a wonderful experience alongside the really well made food, have to try this place, the place has a different environment then that of another restaurant

Veggie korma was DELICIOUS as was the chicken samosa! I can't wait to go back and try other dishes here. Friendly service and nice, spacious atmosphere.

My girlfriend and I went to Ember Kitchen for dinner. I ordered their butter chicken with rice and naan. My girlfriend ordered chicken biryani and the chicken was fully cooked. My dish however, did not receive identical quality. I politely informed our server that the chicken looked raw and she further displayed it to the chefs for clarification. Unfortunately, the chefs informed her that there is “nothing they can do about it because it’s cooked ahead of time, as well as mixed in with the sauce. ” I am by no means blaming the server because she is the messenger. However, I hold the kitchen 100% responsible. If the kitchen offered to make a fresh one or take it off the bill then I would have been satisfied. However, they proceeded to act in denial and refuse to take responsibility for it.

Fantastic Indian cuisine in a beautifully decorated restaurant. Outdoor dining was a very pleasant experience.

Beautiful location. Food is more of a fusion Indian, I did enjoy it, however medium was quite spicey. Will try again and order something different

I ordered lamb biryani and it wasn’t very good it was oily and not so much flavour for the price i paid.
The prices are pretty high compared with other Indian food restaurants.

I am pure vegetarian I ordered bhindi sabji and there was a chicken piece that I ate. Really inconvenient and careless staff working there. And other than that people over staff asking if I am Indian, so that they can reply me accordingly. Discrimination and racism. Depends on what you declare yourself you get treated. Was so disappointed.

A real find, in a beautiful location. The Ugandan influenced dishes are mouthwatering. Must try!

Wonderfully spiced and flavourful. Samosas and Pakora to start we fantastic. Butter chicken was simply the best and the Charbroiled chicken in coconut cream sauce was awesome. And the view from the patio just topped off a great meal

I swung by for lunch with my husband today. It's so tasty, and very friendly service. The atmosphere is great and it's not very busy durring lunch. I will definitely be coming back with friends:)

Manager and staff very attentive. African influenced curries were wonderful. Lamb vindaloo excellent.

I tried a new dish and wasn't disappointed. Fantastic food. Patio was beautiful. Very pleased.

One of the best Indian restaurants in the lower mainland. Wonderful food, pleasant atmosphere and fairly priced - family operated.

June 3/23 - My friends and I previously enjoyed a wonderful meal at Ember Kitchen - we had ordered the Pili Pili wings and the butter chicken - both items hot.

This evening I placed an order for the very same items to be picked up. I was told it would be about 20 minutes because they were very very busy. 20 minutes is not a long time at all but after picking my meal up and unpacking it at home, I am so disappointed - neither item is what I ordered.

The wings were not hot, in fact, they had a sweetness to them. The butter chicken was mild at best.

When I phoned and spoke with the owner, he apologized and said when I came to the restaurant next, he would do something for me. He did not want to take any details, he said he would remember my name. What happens if he’s not there when I go in next? I’m feeling so let down with the customer service and the food overall.

Do better Ember Kitchen, do better.

Normally this is our fav place to go, however on Mothers Day something changed. Not sure if they were just so busy but the food did not have any flavor. Our favorite, shahi paneer was very watery and had no flavor. It was a very disappointing meal in general.
